Evaluating them with a charging cable plugged in (or options with each to route the cable) would've been helpful. I wonder how the comparison would be different with a cable being used.
I can't recommend ProClip high enough. I really like their product. I added one of these to my wife's Subaru Legacy and attached a Nato wireless charging mount to it. It works really well and attaches with a magnet and charges wirelessly. Best car mount solution that I have found.
I have used the Rugged Ridge in my JK and it works ok for on-road use, BUT it is not strong enough to hold for off-road. It will eject your phone pretty drastically. My glass screen cover cracked. I would not recommend it for off road use at all. I am going with 67 Designs for my new JL. Thanks for the comparison review. 👍
Been running the Rugged Ridge mount for 3 years. Its absolutely horrible on the trail and rough road conditions. The vibrations are horrible and allowed my phone to fall out of the holder many times. Because of this reason, my phone fell and the screen cracked last month. Id like to try the 67 Design.
I’ve had this happen to me, too, with the Rugged Ridge. My screen didn’t crack but it easily could have. I have a case with a credit card holder on the back. I wonder if the 67 Design’s holder clamps are long enough to accommodate it.

I have a ProClip in my Mojito 19 wrangler. Its a perfect design. Ive had ProClip on the last dozen or so vehicles Ive had and I recommend them very highly. Get the one that has the wire plugged into the bottom of the ProClip so when you put your phone in it , it clips in so you don't have to plug the wire manually into the phone each time. Its the only way to go.The 67 mount doesn't allow for the wire to be connected to the bottom of the mount so you have to actually push the wire in and your phone so there are 2 separate things you would need to do in order to mount your phone. So in and out of the Jeep, you have to plug in the wire and then pop in and adjust the phone , that would be super annoying. Get the ProClip with the wire attachment on it, just pop it in the holder and pull it out. Thats it. The way to go.
Great video of those three the only other one I would have suggested is the Bulletpoint mounting solutions is similar to the 67 designs shown towards the end of the video. I did go with the Bulletpoint mount in mine and have the 2 mounts with the GoPro in the middle. Also the carbon fiber arms come in colors with Bulletpoint.

On the proclip can you move it to the left of the steering wheel to see if it fits and see if the speaker is in the way of the arm.
