Ingredients: 250g Self raising Flour 200g Greek Yoghurt Optional: sesame seeds salt/pepper seasoning chives cheese! the world is your oyster Pop the flour into a bowl and make a well, add the yoghurt and mix until a dough forms. The dough may be a bit sticky, add a little SR flour until more doughy and less sticky. Form into a ball and divide into smaller balls - I made 10 (some of varying sizes!) Pop into your AF and egg wash (if desired - you could brush with milk or sprinkle flour on top) I sprinkled sesame seeds on some. It may be worth letting the rolls ‘rest’ for 30 mins before baking, I didn’t, and the rolls did not get any bigger. on BAKE setting 160c/320f for 20 - 25 mins with Crisper Plates in (leave CP uncovered to avoid flipping at end), once cooked set aside until cool enough to handle - or eat straight away! Perfect with butter and hot soup on a winters day
Hi Kerry!! Big fan of yours!! I use this recipe and make bagels out of it. Just make your bun shape and stick your thumb through the middle and you have bagels. Then just add a quick egg wash and any toppings, like sesame seeds, cheese....anything. They are quick and easy and delicious!! Thanks for your videos!! I love watching them!! You are so down to earth and relatable. I just tried your lemon bread and it was a success!!
@@budgetcookinguk Just wanted to add you are going to want to make bigger buns, so maybe 4 or 5 instead of 10. You will get nice size bagels doing it this way. Hope you enjoy them!! ❤
Food or a weapon no jokes aside Kerry I love a crusty roll. They looked really good for just 2 ingredients. Actually prefer the crust than the inside the crunch made me hungry all it needs is cheese and a bit of pickle. Delicious.
Hi There Kerry , They look Good ,Have you ever tried makeing Mayonnaise Quick Rolls because mayonnaise have egg in Ingredients 2 cups flour self-raising 3 Tablespoons Mayonnaise 1 cup milk , cook in oven or I love my Cosori blaze xxx
Hi, how fab! Tip, if you wet your hands before handing the dough it won't stick to you. You can slao use milk for glazing if you don't have any spare eggs. Thanks for sharing 😃x
I am still planning to give that full bread loaf recipe you recently did recently, the seeded loaf that you did in the air fryer, it just look awesome, but these look well worth a try too, for the sake of ease and convenience, probably be able to practice a bit and get it slightly better with each subsequent attempt. I will need to go buy yoghurt, before I try these.
"you could knock someone out with it"!! 🤣🤣🤣 You're so funny without even trying. I've made some of those 'rocks' myself in the past! PS Interestingly, a friend told me they use that recipe of flour and Greek yoghurt to make a quick pizza base.
😂😂a natural bob monkhouse me😂😂 I used exact same ingredients (except next time I used proper greek yogurt not 'greek style' for the rolls)) and made bagels - they were amazing - I'd heard it's good for pizza bases and flat bread as well, so I tried pizza bases and yes! you're right so quick and easy, taste great too😋😋😋
Hi Kerry, it's our go recipe for flat breads, they make fab wraps , we put garlic oil on them and nigella seeds but you can put whatever in them , flatten and dry fry xx
Evening Kerry (again lol) so I use plain flour and yoghurt to make my flat breads (add home grown chives and garlic to it) but never thought of using s/r flour to make rolls. What a great idea, I would imagine they would be very light inside. These would be ideal for soups like you say, especially for Christmas day as we always have dinner rolls with ours. This is something else for making before hand and possibly freezing ? Thanks for that Kerry, haha love your bloopers 😂. Have a great weekend xxxx Jac 💚♥️
Ooo Jacs your flatbread sounds lovely 😋😋 I absolutely love chives - must try your method next time. I'm not sure how well these would freeze, I would splash with water when reheating, hmmm I might revisit this or at least find a recipe with more info, the original one was very sparse on instructions! You too!! Kxxx
@budgetcookinguk I experimented one day using the leftover yoghurt from your tandoori chicken (our favourite btw) recipe. It's delicious with chives and some garlic 😋. Ohhh now that would be a good idea if you found something similar that you could freeze and then reheat like your other timesaving ideas as I really like this idea of a quick easy recipe which you can prepare and freeze. Thank you Xxxx Jac 💚 ❤️
really interesting vid kerry, and very good to know , with this weather at the moment you dont know if we are going to be shut in . i will try these, and do you think that it could be frozen to use at a later date
Thank you Grace 😀💕💕 I reckon it could, but I would sprinkle with water when reheating which hopefully would soften the crust. There is a danger the crust will be even crustier! Is that even a word lol

Food or a weapon no jokes aside Kerry I love a crusty roll. They looked really good for just 2 ingredients. Actually prefer the crust than the inside the crunch made me hungry all it needs is cheese and a bit of pickle. Delicious.

Knocking it out of the park again.

Hi Kerry, who'd have thought you could make bread with two ingredients. Great for those emergencies. Have a great weekend, byee 👋Jen 💕😘xx
I know me too, thought it was worth an experiment Jen😀👍💕💕you too!! Xxx
Instead of the egg wash,I brush tops of breads and rolls with melted butter after baking. These look very nice. Susan

I must try this Lynda, gonna put nigella seeds on my shopping list, good to have in the cupboard - like your method too😀👍💕💕
@@budgetcookinguk thanks Kerry , keep in cooking !!!!! Xx
These two ingredients make really good flat breads and pizza bases
Think I need to try those two as well Andrea😀👍💕💕
Or stew instead of dumplings
sorry I should have said to join the two ends of the "snake" to form a circle and make sure the centre is a a thumb width
Like you say Kerry great for stews and soups and you could always double the recipe and make them larger..good one Kerry xx
ps..loving the out take 😂 xx
Thank you Anita😀💕💕recipe possibly needs work but I definitely will revisit this, poss find a better recipe with fuller instructions
Haha yes😄, talking to myself - look a little nuts lol🤪
You aren't the only one that does it Kerry, I have conversations with our dog he must think I'm nuts 😂
You can also roll out this dough and stuff them with your holiday filling or taco filling or egg and sausage. Homemade hot pockets.
Hi Kerry, they look a bit too crusty for me but each to their own hope you are well?
You need good teeth! I wonder if that can be improved upon (back to the drawing board😄👍) hope you're keeping warm, we've got freezing fog at the mo🥶

Kerry, would no fat/low fat greek yoghurt make a difference do you think?
Yes Joanna😀👍👍 as long as its greek yogurt, low fat etc all good
really interesting vid kerry, and very good to know , with this weather at the moment you dont know if we are going to be shut in . i will try these, and do you think that it could be frozen to use at a later date

Look tasty but my teeth wouldn't take the crunch
was that bread or ordinary flour you used
Self raising flour😀👍👍
They look a bit like scones inside.
They do Edith that's true😀👍tasted like very nice bread thou, think the greek yoghurt gives quite a bit of flavour😋😋😋
Maybe slightly shorter cook time ?? Less cruncht...my poor teeth wouldn't manage the very crisp outer...I'd have to suck it to death!!!
