Bruce Dickinson is almost 60 , and can really still sing all Iron Maiden song the way it should , this "performance" of Rob Halford is ridiculous , and yes i am a Judas Priest fan (since '79) but i would not go to see them live anymore because of the bad voice of Halford , and not only with this song.

I saw em live in june 2011... The best consert i have ever been too in years. Awesome guitar playing, sound was so high my brain got blown out.. AND Halfords voice was fucking insane. Best metal consert ever!
Give him a rest everyone, there aren't many people in the world who can come close to singing this song even like he's singing in this even with a healthy voice and remember he's been a heavy metal singer for 40 years. The fact that he once hit the high notes ever and sounded as good as he did is amazing. I'll be surprised if there are many other people in the world who've ever managed to scream a double top C with distortion who haven't lost their voice.

I am both sad and proud of this performance; sad cuz we didn't get to hear the voice that made this song the metal heads anthem, and proud cuz we saw hour hero give his all to make justice to the song.

I've seen Judas at Katowice in 2012 and i was sure that Halford won't be able to sing Painkiller properly but when they started playing that riff and he started singing i couldn't believe how good he was. He sounded simply awesome. Its hard song, he's 60+ years old. Sometimes he has bad day but im sure that he didn't lose his voice. Im singer too and i know about all vocal effects to repair many things in vocal so i was hearing how he was singing and im simply sure that he had good day at Katow.
I was seeing the Breaking the law song of this show and Rob did it great! awesome!!! he still is the metal god (altough this happened 9 years ago)... let's just be honest, Painkiller is a really difficult song and to play it live is just insane...
I think it just shows how dedicated these guys are/were when it comes to playing live to do this one still. This is about as vocally demanding as it gets and for Priest to keep this in the set is impressive, considering Halford has been screaming for decades. Also, to those noticing Rob hunched over, check them out doing this song back during the Painkiller tour. He usually stood in place like that when they did this one too. Tough not to no matter the age.

@MetalDemon17 Actually, this show was in late June... and in early July, two shows had to be cancelled due to illness. So that's perhaps the cause... Anyway, Rob worked on his voice right after this tour. Check out the song "The Mower", which is from the latest Halford album, you'll see that his voice is still there :D
