Rob at this age still has decent pipes and killing it.
That solo brought me into tears. Truly pure magic 🙏🏼🤘🏼🖤
Deez guys are the reason ive been listening to metal for 45yrs
They still have 100 years of rock and roll left in them beautiful guitar playing drums and vocals
Rob Halford nearly breaking the speakers at the end is the epitome of metal! 🤘🤘🤘
Painkiller is the pinnacle of Heavy Metal. Judas Priest the gods of metal.
Best song riffs Judas priest
@@thomasigersheim2918 I dunno dood. Heroes End has an amazing main riff
That was insane. 69 years and still such a powerful voice.
Holy crap... this song to this day still gives me goosebumps. And Scott especially sounds like he hasn't missed a single beat after all those years!
simply incredible.
i grew up with judas priest and the rest, hating it every single day when my dad played it for the first 10 years of my life because it was on.. EVERY SINGLE MINUTE EVERY SINGLE DAY. even when he had his headphones on i could hear it upstairs so loud that it anoyed me while i was playing on my atari. now i'm almost 40 and i thank judas priest for all the amazing things they produced... i dont have to explain what i think about their unique skills all together. the moment u think you dig the drum solo's, it feels like you dont give enough credit to tipton, then halfords starts to scream and you know why judas priest is judas priest.
seeing 708k subscribers makes me sad because people don't know what they miss, but also happy for the first time that i'm getting older and didn't have to miss out in this awesome piece of rock history!
6:00 That reaction of guitarist after Rob growling :D priceless
"Dad, what's Heavy Metal?"
"Here son...watch this."
100% agreed
it is actually thrash metal
It is heavy metal, of course. Heavy metal is the top genre of all the other "metals"
@@smleeg955 without heavy we have 99% of other metal genres
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘
I love the face Ian makes around 6:02 after Rob does that low growl. He's like "Oh, okay then."
This was the first metal song I've ever listened. I was 13, didn't understand the power, the meaning, the adrenaline that can give you. I was 18 when a friend told me to listen again... Now, at 32 yo I'm still grateful to my friend. \m/
Continua così, fratello!
Robs head shake/demon growl at 5:58 was so bad ass!!!!!!!
Glenn Tipton was the best metal soloist in the business. The feel on this solo is on another level.
Painkiller has ALWAYS been one song where I feel like I'm on an UNENDING RIDE!!!
CHILLS from HEAD TO TOE!!! 😤🤘
Man is severely under rated. His foot work is incredibly precise it’s amazing
What a band once in a lifetime
I'm not a rock fan but this song raises the freaking hair on my arms. AMAZING.
Who's gonna tell 'im?
@@chaosapiantI will, this ain’t rock
@@totally_not_putinmetal IS rock tho
@@bit_link1264 yes but there’s a pretty big difference between the music, for example Boston’s rock sounds very very casual compared to most of Judas priest’s heavy metal
Metal is hard rock
Everything about this song is unbelievable. The choice of notes during the lead up to the first solo, the power chords and riffs and Halfords ability to hit high notes.
I saw Priest in 2015, and Halford was even better then than when this was recorded. It's amazing! The entire band is a phenomenon!
I think a Lot of people have no idea How powerful this Kind of voice is
1:01 hahahah wasn’t expecting scarified by racer x
Even after all these years this band sounds awesome. Long live Judas Priest.
Fire, smoke, leather, studs, chains, Metallian, sweat, sharp guitars, machine gun drums, thundering bass, heartbreaking screams, powerful volume, frenzied audience, apocalyptic themes !!! these are Judas Priest, this is heavy metal !!
la cancion de heavy metal...mas poderosa y espectacular de todos los tiempos.....señores ...esto es judas priest...la banda numero 1 del heavy metal mundial...
6:00 is one of the most brutal growls I’ve ever heard in any metal performance, live or in studio.
Judas Priest is a blast furnace, an open-hearth furnace, and a whole metallurgical concern melting the brightest and purest metal
How the hell can he still sing this... amazing.
Everyone one of the band superb in their own way. Fantastic. I agree with the comments about Scott being one of the most underrated drummers , what a fantastic talent, absolutely unrelenting with every hit on that drum kit.
Underrated? Well that is....
Original God's of Metal. Pure Platinum.
Glenn Tipton is a beast, even in the condition he's in he far surpasses most contemporary musicians
One of the coolest things in rock in my opinion is when a singer belts out the first note of the guitar solo. Just like at 6:46. Especially at 70, Jesus.
