We had a day out in Felixstowe which coincided with the Ipswich to Felixstowe Historic Car Run and so we got to see a whole load of vehicles from yesteryear as well!

What a sunny day for England! My first car was a yellow and white 1957 Chevy. (Shared it with my mother.)
It was a lovely day. It was nice to have a bit of sea air to breathe.
Thank you for taking us all along! Beautiful sea, cod and chips, cars, and of course ice cream-wonderful!😃👏👍💖
Glad you enjoyed it.
I really needed this tonight. Top chap, thank you!
Definitely inspiring me to get out to the seaside soon. Probably Weston Super-Mare for me
I used to live in Burnham on Sea growing. I know the area fairly well. You're welcome.
Thank you.

I loved those classic cars!!! Thanks for sharing.
Love these type of “out and about” videos. All the best.
Thank you. It was my first attempt at one.
wow have a nice day in the sun
We did thanks!
Fun video!
Glad you liked it!
Oh, Lovely! I never should have let myself get landlocked.
I feel the same. The 14 years I've lived here is the longest I've ever lived away for a coastal town
@@JamesMurphyYT I'm nearly 1,000 miles from a beach/
@@tonette6592I couldn't live that far away from the sea. I'd have to move.
In the UK, you're never further than two and a half hours away from one by car.
@@JamesMurphyYT I grew up much closer to the sea, right around Washingtion, DC. Th eAtklantic is there, and the Chesapeake Bay. I never should have moved out west, and now I am not much closer. It may be 800+ miles'only', but I never get there.
@@tonette6592 If I were you, I'd move back!
Beautiful, felt like I was there. Have to show this to the folks. They would love to see the cars, especially the busses. They fell in love with the Leyland Lion after watching "All Creatures...". I'm kind of partial to the Jag. There were a couple of others, but I'm not familiar with what makes they are. Did you guys have any favorites? Fish looked delicious. Were you able to walk the pier? Hope you had an enjoyable day!
It was a lovely day. Sadly you can't walk the full length of the pier as it has some wear to it.
The owners have spent 2 million pounds on it over the last 5 years, so I expect more to be done over time.
There were 3 Volkswagen Sciroccos there, and it made me remember how much I loved mine. It was my favourite of all the cars I've had.
We didn't get to see all of the lorries and buses there as we were worn out!
Last year, there were 800 vehicles there. This time, there were more, I think.
And yes, the fish and chips was lovely!
Wow! That's a pretty good size show. I'll have to see if anyone's posted any pics from it. Not familiar with the Scirocco, more homework. I did look up a little on the pier. Very interesting. Good thing I don't live there, I'd go broke at the arcade.
Yes nice to see there’s stilll England with English pride that has become sort of unlawful and could get one cancelled here in America 👌
It's not often you see it here either
That was fun! What a beautiful coastal community. Interesting that you were on the Eastern seashore as the terrain is similar to the U.S.' eastern seashore (northern part of the U.S.) What are those little huts at the 1:37 mark??? Thanks! 🥤
They're beach huts. And they sell for silly money.
They have seating inside, and many have a gas cooker inside.
Many locals have had them for years and those who have the time (usually elder people), and you'll see them sat outside most days.
Those huts sell for anything from £25,000 upwards.
One in a seaside town called Sandbanks on the south coast sold for £125,000 a few years ago!
@@JamesMurphyYT Not sure what all the fuss is about with these beach huts if they don't have a restroom!? 🤔😂
@@SippyCupAdventures I know it's crazy. There have been community wars over them. People who own them rarely sell them.
