  • In this full #review I will explain all the specs of the 2024 #Maserati #GranTurismo #Modena or #Trofeo then take it for a test drive. The New GranTurismo will have the MC20 engine detuned, with mc20 headlights and Grecale tech. The 3.0 liter twin-turbo v6 Nettuno engine drives all 4 wheels but the GT drops the V8 engine that leads me to my quirks which will bring me to my pros and cons.

Maserati realised they had a good formula with the Granturismo and have just done the same again. It’s derivative but a beautiful car. One of the most beautiful cars in the last 10 years which is no surprise considering what a looker the original 2007 Granturismo was.
Unlike the 1st gen Granturismo, this seems a really good car. Like the MC20, very positive reviews in the automative press. Maserati seems to have found its mojo again. I quite liked the Ghibli in V6 petrol form (I drove one for a weekend a few years back) but the Diesel was an aberration and should never have happened. The move upmarket instead of chasing volumes seems sensible.

What I loved about the GT was the unique V8 sound. While the new models do look a bit better, I'm so disapointed that it sounds like a badly tuned BMW

It is hard to accept losing the v8 but the performance is really good.

Sounds like every other Audi/BMW/Porsche/Mini Cooper. So disappointed in the Nettuno

I like the v8 sound but driving it in sport mode helps. I wish they did like the Ghibli when they went with the first v6 twin-turbo. How Maserati worked to make it sound like a v8 without a loud spit.

Get used to it. The days of great sounding engines are coming to an end. Even the modern V8 and V6 Ferrari’s don’t sound that great. Blame emissions, blame soft limiters.
The Granturismo seems a great car judging by all the reviews.

Don't matter which, these are the fastest depreciating luxury cars made. Then there's the repairs $ you will be spending in just the first two years. Maserati motor, really? Perhaps after it comes off the truck from Maranello.

The depreciation is not a concern for me nor is the cost of repairs. The bigger issue is overall reliability and dealer support. I don't mind rare problems being costly.

I can see discounts coming, great vehicles, I’m on my second Maserati but my wife will not let me get this yet. I’m waiting for a price drop 😁
