Leider in den meisten Punkten. Abgesehen davon sind X3 und Macan schon sehr sehr lange auf dem Markt. Dazu kommen Wertverlust und Wartungskosten, die bei Maserati übel sind.
Trotzdem ein tolles Auto, welches ich mit als V6 kaufen würde. Ich habe einen F-Pace V8. Die Deutschen sind auch etwas besser, aber der Jag V8 ist einzigartig.

Maseratis are actually really reliable, and relatively easy to repair. It is the things like electronics, trim, fit and finish that always failed them. Although it seems those things have been addressed with these new models. Repairmen in the US are simply too expensive and not experienced in maintaining European cars, and this where the myth of "difficult to repair" comes from. Don't live in the middle of nowhere and dream of driving it, there will be no one to maintain it.
They’re exactly what you pay for. We have the grandturismo but the dealership is 2 hours away so it’s a hassle. They have certain Maserati accredited repair shops but I don’t necessarily trust them. The maintenance is costly, but my husband can do it himself and when we do travel near the dealership we have them do a full check up. It’s been an amazing car and now we’re looking to get the Grecale. Everything inside out is extremely lux and you can feel the difference from a bmw. The Macan is comparable but since we know and love Maserati we’ll go for that.

I always love to read the comments when someone is reviewing a Maserati. Its amazing the amount of people that love to bash Maserati and I wonder how many have actually owned one or fit into the group of people Maserati targets. As someone who has owned 6 Maseratis (2 Ghiblis, 3 Levantes, 1 Grecale) only 1 of the Ghiblis had an issue where it needed to be in the shop. Maserati fixed, and I didn't have a single issue after that point. To say that a GV70 is a better vehicle is a stretch, if by better you mean cheaper price-wise, then sure. The GV70 uses a 6-cylinder to do what this is doing with a 4-cylinder if you compare the 4-cylinder GV70 it's no comparison. Its also interesting to see things people are willing to forgive BMW, Mercedes, and Porsche for doing, but when it comes to Maserati, the pitchfork and fire come out immediately. To say that Maserati isn't what it use to be, I welcome someone explaining this because their build quality and reliable are significantly better so what is it? The fact that they no longer use a V8? Why hate something so much yet come to watch a video about it? When I don't like something I don't care if my favorite RUclipsr is reviewing it I am simply not going to watch it unless I have some degree of interest in it.
So fact remains as a person who has owned multiple, 1 out of 6 had an issue in the beginning that was quickly fixed. I trade every 2 years because I get bored with vehicles fast and my depreciation was in line with how I saw other vehicles depreciate, which is within the range you expect for luxury brands to depreciate. There are only a few vehicles that "appreciate." If you go to trade a vehicle and it seems like you didn't lose much that's because they made up the difference elsewhere either through the interest or some other organic add-on from the factory or otherwise. Study the art of the dealer.

I test drove Levante hybrid, Grecale hybrid, Macan, Caynne hybrid, I choose Levante eventually, purchased last week, 200km driven, overall Levante feels more steady, and hybrid is powefully, love it!

Here is a controversial opinion, the Genesis GV70 3.5T Sport Prestige blows this car out of the water across all aspects. Bigger engine, more HP, better interior, and much better exterior design as well (at least in my opinion), and $20K cheaper if the Modena is configured with same specs shown in the video.

@@boxoffisa Cool is subjective. Some people might see be wow'd by a Maserati but others might see it as a shell of what it used to be and currently owned by the worst car brand in existence.
Not to mention Genesis GV70 is more reliable.

For that they will spend bigger to show you how above the bar they are. That’s the issue here. As he explain through minuet 2:00 that some guys have money and want to look different. It’s that problem they have.
Some people are nouveau riche dorks, who think that buying a premium brand makes them cool. Meanwhile classy rich people realize it’s way more tasteful to be understated. Look at an Air France first class cabin and you’ll understand what understated luxury is. The reason the Germans absolutely dominated the luxury auto industry was they were well built and because their designs were traditionally very conservative. As soon as they shifted focus to make their vehicles more showy and appealing to new eastern customers many of their traditional buyers lost interest. With the exception of Porsche who never deviated and is doing better than ever haha.

I actually find the Trofeo version appealing, and I hate Maseratis generally. They've really stepped up their interior quality, and it offers close to Macan GTS dynamics with a more usable rear seat. But I can't pull the trigger knowing how bad the depreciation would be.
No freakin way I‘m getting this over a Macan GTS, X3M or GLC63S with the glorious V8

The people who Buy a Maserati do it cause they want to be different! Even though it depreciates like a Rock!! LOL. I’ve had 2 in my life..amongst other high end cars. The drive of Maserati is super fun!! Love the exhaust when you put it in “Sports” mode…wow! Do you remember that HBO show Entourage? One episode was called “My Maserati Does 185mph” hahaha!! That sold me! LOL. So when I finally made some money…Maserati was my first “higher end” car! The only other car company that would make you feel like being “unique” is Aston Martin

I believe the brake pedal feel issue is caused by the electronic pedal used in the grecale and other Giorgio platform cars. They have never gotten the tuning right. Coming from someone that has owned 2 Giorgio platform Alfas.

The interior POV is such a sense of occasion, amazing looking steering wheel and interior view out - but then you get out and see that really you're in a somewhat bland looking 4cyl crossover. The exterior needs a little more sauce for the top trim model.

$109k 😰. For 1/2 the price you can buy the GV70 2.5T or for 79k🇨🇦 the 3.5T perstige sport+ with 375hp and just as nice interior.
This is a Maserati... This is not an upstart brand from a company that could barely screw a car together 2 decades ago. In 50 years if the genesis is still around and has grown a proper reputation, price might be a valid point. As of now, anything sporting a trident on its bonnet gets a free pass costing 10%-20% more cause of that... They are sporting a frikin trident on their front. Status symbols have that added value. Plus, if were to analyze the the cars on its own, the Grecale has a better chasis, better engine, better sound, way better transmission,... So, pretty much the only Macan rival on the market nowadays. It can quite easily justify its pricetag over any Genesis, Acura, Lexus and other fake premium brands out there.

a fully loaded 88K in 2024 with 26k knock off, full package well beats the macan in the right price range..., larger car, gorgeous drive, fantastic option overall. Love the engine tuning

I was sooo close to buying one of these. I put a down deposit and everything. I just couldn’t wait. I decided to get a heavily discounted Stelvio Quadrifoglio instead. However, once I’m done with that, I’m probably gonna swap for the Grecale.

Ohh, and the GV70 is a step behind on pretty much all aspects next to this. Way better in what, lol? Other than your imaginary reliability woes, theres not a single aspect that the Grecale doesnt match or outright beats over a GV70. From brand image, quality of materials, driving dynamics, technology or styling, the Grecale is top notch on all of those.
10 years ago? Hyundai and Kia's reputation is even worse today. Constant recalls over the past decades and they STILL can't get it right with their vehicles exploding into fire balls and the easily stolen thing. Insurance companies won't even insure their brands in certain cases.@@AI-qd4vb

I think I go with an older 2010s Audi A3 base wagon with a TDI over that.
The interior camera focus isn’t working. It makes Jacob slightly out of focus. Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, except it means Yuri is mostly always in focus.
Usuing it for 5 months. Great car. Very powerful for a 2 liter. I am not a show off but people react to this car, the Italian flair. To each his own. Get a bmw and be flat:) (I own a bmw)

So far after 60,000km, it’s been pretty solid so I have my confidence for this Grecale series. Would have picked this model if it was available instead of the Stelvio.
I see way too many Macan etc like taxi’s, and such nice feeling not see any of my car on the streets.
Don’t really care about depreciation too. I want something different, useful and fun to drive with great engine sound and audio, and this one delivers.

It's Italian it will just fall apart. My friend was a fiat mechanic in Italy the way the labor operates they don't promote you if you are great at your job. He was stuck at his position way longer than he should have been, all they told him was why you are to good at your job we want to keep you there. You have to be a bit shit at your job and cause problems then you get promoted.

Um, in the i4, the distance control is on the steering wheel and I think from reviews I've seen other Beemers do too, but I think they've taken that away in some more newer models.

The Maserati Grecale have similarities to the Porsche Macan, but it feels like it does beat the Porsche Macan, but does it beat the Audi Q5? Yes, it does. I'm going for that compact luxury crossover SUV. The Italian competitor beats almost all German competitors.

When you say Maserati or people see your Maserati, it is wayyy "different" and "cooler" than atrocious BMW and standard Mercs almost everybody has. I am a Grecale Modena owner (also BMW owner) for the last 1 year or so. No issues whatsoever other than tyre pressure warning which was fixed at the service in no time. I don't mention luxury, premium feel etc. that is personal.
They really said that infotainment is better than Merc and BMW….. come on guys that’s basic android OS……

IMHO I don't really see that many advantages of this over its platform mate, the Stelvio. You can get an upper trim Stelvio with options and it would come in significantly cheaper than this. Yes the interior is different, but I don't think it's different/more premium enough to justify the price increase. For the price of this Grecale, I'd get a Macan GTS or something

You should review the 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonales. Those are way better priced plus the plug-in-hybrid variant is really sporty and a nice alternative to the german equivalents!
It's not better priced. It's just worse in every single way than the Grecale.
So when you go to buy one of these the first thing you should ask is what type of loaner vehicles do they provide.

Surprised there was no mention of the fender vents. Perhaps they look better in person, but on the video they look like something from the Walmart car accessory aisle. Hopefully they’re just attached with double sided tape and can be taken off.
With BMW, aleast IDrive 8 and 8.5, pilot assist is activated with a button.
Sat in one recently and the interior is striking. But, a Stelvio Quadrifoglio would be much more fun for the money.
