- The best upgrade for the non vvti 2JZGE engine is this Dual Cam & Crank triggering kit that will essentially transform your GE into a GTE. This will remove the old distributor and allow you to time the engine properly to run Coil on plug kits and aftermarket ECU's with the Base Maps from a 2JZGTE. You can also simply plug in a GTE ECU and start the car.
The kit is FULL PLUG N PLAY and can be installed with the engine remaining in the car.

Yes and it also eliminates the whole 1.5JZ where people would only use the head to get the Cam sensors.

I recently purchased this kit and it is top notch quality! I also am building a ge as a winter project so i am taking things slow and making sure its done correctly. If i made any changes to this kit it would be to extend the cop wires about an extra 12 inches to the back of the ecu connector. I may have to cut my firewall to make them work or extend the wires 12 inches or so. Thanks for your time and innovation!!
Hi Joseph, was your chassis a GS300? I am actually making them longer now as I had feedback from GS300 owners. I may put an option on the site for a longer harness for those that have GS300’s or just want a longer harness. The harness is plenty long enough for a Supra, Soarer but some people may have re-positioned the ECU or faced it in a different position.

@@supravworld8777 i would be interested in a longer harness for both cop and cam and crank pinout. the engine is currently out of the car so im not sure if i can adjust the ecu location to make my harness work

This is absolutely great, I'll still probably go with a GTE oil pump just because it's a good idea to run an oil cooler, and that will take a bit of pressure to do so. We might not have oil squirters, but with an oil cooler, you might need that extra pressure.

just ordered the dual trigger, went with vvti oil pump mostly for piece of mind( TRUST oil cooler, na-t eventually, mk3 supra).

instead of drilling a hole on the pump, I bought a ge pump from a 97 ge which comes with a crank sensor mount hole already on it for the same price.

This is great. Seems like it's only drawback is you no longer can adjust the timing with the dizzy.
The adjustment on the distributor is NOT good. The trigger system of all modern engines is fixed to the Crankshaft. There should never ever be any adjustment of hardware for the trigger system
Just put in the order from USA plug and play coils harness gte manifold adapter hopefully it works

Will this set up work on my 2000 gs 300? I'm doing an engine swap with a non vvti and a non turbo 1996 supra. Im looking at maybe using a ge vvti head as well.
What if you have the gte oil pump already installed. Do you need to use the sensor that comes in the kit?
I’ve been watching you for a while and really think it’s cool what you are doing for the ge but I wanna see you finish the build and show us your car running I’d love to buy everything on the site right now but i think we need to see from you it actually working on a ge and not just take your word ever since you started making these kits “that are amazing I’m ngl” you really haven’t showed us it running and working on a ge thats what I need to cash out and buy the whole store I trust your word on everything cause you are obviously really knowledgeable on the 2jz but I need proof of it running, working and putting some power down I think that’s all we need is actually footage of the set up and the car working as you say I’m not trying to put you ideas down and say they are false by any means I’m not here to do that or even start a debate I just wanna see these products in action is all I’m say pls if you could do that take my money I’d really want to buy these kits but I’m not fully sold yet
