This is the best review of the Lark 150! Easy, short, accurate. I own a Lark 150 and love it, but this video answered all of my remaining questions! Great channel. I subscribed!
I greatly appreciate that. Thank you for watching and for your support 🙏🙏
This was helpful and to-the-point. Thank you!
Happy to help. Thanks for watching. 🙏🙏
Great video man!
I appreciate the good vibes and support. Thanks for watching. 🙏🙏
Thank you.. can you make a tutorial on shennizer and larc 150 together
What gain should i set the RX? I haven't been able to get crisp audio, it always sounds like a robot 🙁
This was really helpful. Thanks!
I use android, but to my knowledge, all you need is a 3.5mm TRS to TRRS cable then the lightning adapter. The TRRS side (with 3 black strips) goes into the lightning adapter. The TRS side (2 black strips) goes to the out of the Lark 150 receiver
@@DoubtMeTech Thank you! My mistake was that I was trying to use the TRS-to-TRS cable (all black casings) instead of the TRS-to-TRRS cable (one black and one gray casing.) This is all a steep learning curve for me, but I am learning.
I accidentally deleted my question. Oops!
Better than the official tutorial.
Does someone have a fix? Even when I mute my transmitter, I still hear a loud hiss going on. Is this defective?
How do you get the audio files off the units to your computer?
I just bought this product and tried it out. But there is like some room resonance in my audio and why is that happen and how do i fix this prob. Do i need to play with the volume output knob?
when you say in mono mode does it mean that in headset you can hear on both side or you can hear only in one side of headset??? for me in stero and mono i can hear only in one side of headset speaker
Great video! I've purchased the Hollyland Lark 150 myself and recorded with both mics, but I noticed only afterwards I was in mono, which merged all my sounds in one audio channel. Is there a way to separate them in stereo mode in post production?
It's not possible
My client recently purchased this kit to do an interview with his iphone. I helped him get it set up using his 3.5mm to lightning adapter, but it seems like we are getting both mic channels recorded (mixed) to only 1 channel on the iphone (rather than split). Is this possible? I was using steteo mode on the rx receiver. I see on this (maybe its a newer version) that there is an iphone mode. Would this accomplish the split audio?
Do you know if there be any delay in the audio if using this for a live stream (like a zoom meeting)
There is no noticeable delay. It works great on livestreams
i did a livestream already with these and no, no noticeable delay at all
Can this be used by plugging the receiver directly into my laptop? I didn't notice a USB or USBC connection on this where as the rode mic does have this ability.
If you use the mic 3.5 port, yes.
Hi ! I just bought the Lark 150. I have a question as I am a beginner : I plugged the receiver to my iPhone and I plugged the lav to the transmitter. When I record a video wit the native app of iPhone, the mic does not work. Maybe I'm missing a step here. Can you help ? Thanks.

@@DoubtMeTech thanks for the answer !!
@@DoubtMeTech the 3.5mm TRS to TRRS was actually included with mine
Thank you for this very good video!
If someone could help?
My iPhone doesn’t recognize this mic. I have the lightning adapter cable , the 3.5 mm tes trrs cable but still only the iPhone mic is on and can’t input from the lark. Is there a iPhone setting I missed on the mic or iPhone ?
Got my Hollyland Lark150 two weeks and have to say I am so disappointed with them. There is so much hiss noise compared to my Rode Go. They are actually unusable. If any of ye guys know how to solve this PLEASE REPLY. I really was so looking forward to getting them.
Adjust the gain levels from the receiver, mic, and camera. You have to do several tests at different gain level settings to find what sounds best with your camera. Make sure that neither of them are set to be super high. Once you find the sweet spot, the hiss should be much lower than what you're hearing now
Per other response - I am testing on GH5 with internal mike set to -12 and the lark set to 8 - could probably go with 6 for really good sound
I have the same problem in MONO mode. In stereo mode it’s ok.
there are no way to setting auto switch-off trasmitter/microphone? very bad. in a wedding ceremony I walked away from the bride and groom for 10-15 minutes and the whole system turned off. If there was a setting to decide when this goes off it would be much better.
Too complicated for beginners
I tried to make it simple. Once you start using them, it gets easier
