how to hook up switch for carb solenoid?

Yes I seen on a post that you no alot about v twin motors will I did the rewire with push button start and kill switch I found wires from alternater I took red wire ran it to battery side on solenoid then took another wire ran it to push button switch then from push button switch to side of solenoid then on other post of solenoid ground out then I ran wire from coil to a regular toggle switch then grounded switch out then I went to try starting and solenoid would just click so I thought ground was bad redid ground and solenoid would not even click so I hook it back up the way I had it and nothing and when solenoid it click I had 12volts coming in to solenoid and 12 going out and 12 at starter and still nothing and I no factory wiring in Mower so no safety switches could you please help me

i would suggest that u start with a simple circuit and add to it. so u have ur lead coming from the battery to the solenoid and coming from the solenoid to the starter. and u have to solenoid well grounded. then you just need to get 12volts to the switch terminal on the solenoid. u could run it from the hot side of the battery or hot side of the solenoid, to it and manually try that.

Ok I hooked up just solenoid I pushed start button and it rolled over but I had no kill switch so I unhooked power cable but now all I do is touch Power cable and it wants to roll over with out hitting switch

Check to see if you switch is still good and to kill the motor you can pull the choke out and it will flood out for a temporary thing. To wire up the kill switch you just have to take the wire coming our of the coil and touch it to ground
