This 80 year old Grandmother is very interested in your journey to finish your tiny home😊
You’re off to a great start! You’ve got the bones for a perfect little home …please keep posting! We want to see your progress …and you seem like a genuinely great young man ☺️🙌
Can't wait to see the updates😊.
Don't bother recording...if you don't care, nobody else will either and not caring shows in your results.
Don't listen to the haters... Be lots of them online... Just filter..... But yes... Your conviction and determination will be evident as you film. So far it's evident that you are not afraid to take on new things, share your passion and progress with others, and have hopes and dreams for the future. I wish you all the success you can find.... Let your personality and your dreams shine through... Like why did you go tiny... How did you decide to save the money... How are you financing the build.... How can others do it too...
PS.... I was also impressed by how cavalier you were about fixing the doors... I would have freaked out about that... Glad you are cool as a cucumber
@@AS-iv8lb And guess what? NOBODY CARES what your snide opinion is…NO ONE.
Love the exterior. When you build out a tiny kitchenette, tiny shower. That's a home! I live between my camper and a 14 x 24. Love my bill free life. Propane,Solar and generator for in case all else fails me. 😂
I pay my truck insurance and cell phone bill. I was tired of working to hand it all back in bills. I van do a lot more things now and rescue animals is my passion. Cattle, horses, dogs, 1 cat, 1 19 year old parrot and a baby turtle I saved from a bird. Enjoy life, its to short and you can afford stuff after this is finished. Buy you a little solar at time. I started out with used batteries. It all comes together..... Good Luck and Enjoy. From: Tennessee 🐾🐾
The cabin is going to make an excellent apartment, bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living room.
Enjoy yourself 🎉🎉🎉🎉
You are smart for doing this. Rent for apartments is astronomical…
This 70 year old man loves this project and have subscribed to watch your progress. Keep up the good work young man and learn as you go. Heck that's what You Tube is for lol. Let us know about any bathroom outhouse you will be doing. I love this, THANKS SO MUCH.
I can’t wait to see what you do. I love the French doors. Your very humble and that’s beautiful.
I'm def interested in seeing your tiny dream home come alive. Good luck & smart move young man 🤗🏡✌️
Hi there! The cottage is really cute! I, too, just purchased a building to make into my home to put on my youngest brother’s & his wife’s property. Thank goodness we have options to get out from under these ridiculously high housing prices. I’m outside of Austin, Texas.
Best to you!! Keep showing your progress. We’re all interested!
So good to hear from so many in a similar position!
You are so blessed to have land to move to. The housing prices have just shot up here again. 2 bedroom apartment for 4'000.00 a MONTH...... if I ever have to move out of my rental, I won't be able to afford anywhere...
Great start…keep it up and soon it will be complete. Be sure and skirt around the bottom of the house to keep critters out.
Yes, that has become a big priority lol I already had a possum under there
This the perfect size, your obviously a very smart person that you have the insight of being owned by your possessions rather than owning possessions. Most dont fully understand until they hit their 50s and are fatigued from 30+ years of the neverending rat race, kudos. Would love to watch as you make this space your own, consider me subscribed.
Its wonderful to see a young man making himself a better situation into life. Bravo you for sharing and inspiring others! Way to go!🎉
You have shelter & that's more than many can say. Good job
Your cabin is awesome! I'm sure it'll be super cozy once you complete💕
Great Job, I’m also building my tiny home from a 12x36 lofted barn cabin, and I love it. I get to learn as I build and i get to put my on stamp on my home instead of living in someone else’s vision. ❤
That is awesome!
Not many 12 foot wide builds online.... Would love to see how it turns out
Also, your home would look cute with a 6x20 or 8x20 deck along the front... You could screen it in later too.... And both of those would make good videos for your channel
I agree a deck would look great! He'd have to move his little rose bush...🌹
A work in progress but you'll get there if you put your mind to it.
Please buy a carbon monoxide detector since you have propane in there.
I hope you tightly turn off the propane tank when not using.
This is extremely important.
They don't cost much.
Also a fire detector.
Love the Flower box btw. 😃
The flowers in the window box look great. You’ve done well! Pat yourself on the back! Down the road a deck under doors would look nice and increase living space. So much potential
Hope to live up to expectations! Lots of room for improvement!
We are in the process putting insulation in our 12×40 shed to tiny home. Luckily we found one that already had residential doors so our daughter is using it just you as a 1 bedroom 1 bath 😃 Thanks for sharing🙏🏽
Some guys would be happy with everything just the way you have it! I think it's great you have the incentive to make it nice. And you will have something uniquely your own when it's finished...along with a sense of satisfaction that you created your home all by yourself. Keep up the good work! 😊👍
I'm interested! Pretty darn exciting, building your own place.
Yes, keep the updates coming. I am excited to see the final project. Curious to know about a bathroom and kitchen in the future.
Nice, Cute Space! Will look Beautiful when Finished 🙌🙏🇺🇸🌞
Tiny home placed in lovely spot!
Getting ready to do this myself. Will enjoy watching your progress and learn from you.
I commend U 4 ALL U've achieved!!!
Son, this is outstanding !!! U r indeed a survivor!! It takes time, sometimes yrs. B 4 U can really decorate and the walls etc.
U'll get ALL done n time!!
My Son is 36, an watching U, makes me proud of U 4 wanting THE 🏈 AMERICAN DREAM, Job, Home, etc.
As this LADY would tell U, keep pushing, an NEVER EVER give up.
Have a Blessed Day
Can't wait to see what you come up with in finishing the cottage off. For a single person, it's a great little home.
Take us on your journey…I would love to watch your progress!
It's fun to be in at the beginning of your tiny home build. Can't wait to see what you do. I'm currently renovating and living in an RV as my tiny home. I hope you love living tiny as much as I do.
I like the idea and your project. I am in a similar situation with my current living arrangements. I want my own tiny house! Living my dream ❤
Nice job and very creative!
Just be careful of how much electrical you pull through the extension cord so you don’t have a fire! Be safe and enjoy!
And also doing the electrical yourself. That can be a dangerous thing without experience.
I did notice how close the Closet Flap was to the front of your great looking Heater! Please be safe!
Enjoy making your home, and watch videos on RUclips to get ideas and answer questions. You have a beautiful Home.
Possibly a Composting Toilet,
I like it keep going I like when young people do positive stuff . It your property that speak volume ❤
For your foundation.... Just an FYI.... Those blocks often BREAK... Please consider digging down a bit... And laying a little gravel, near your cinder blocks... and then stack up a few layers of pressure treated 2x10's or 2x12's.... Or bricks.... To back up those cinder locks.
Cost wise.... You mentioned 13 thousand..... And you still have more to spend... So that's quite the investment... But it's nice to be able to finish it out just the way you want..... However... We bought a 8x20 incredibox by Incredible Tiny Homes.... I don't like the look outside of what we bought... But it was all we can afford.... But if we were just starting out again... We would buy the 8x16 special they have for 15 k.... As it's ready to go... Whereas, we will have to add a lot to our home to finish it out.... But for us, budget dictated the plan...
I'm proud of you. Nice job. You're thinking outside of the box. You're doing what it takes to survive, comfortably. Keep up the good work.
I like it. Its basic, but honest. A rare treasure. Thank you for posting.
I definitely want to see more videos. I love what you have done so far.
Best wishes as you move forward with your home. It is cute and cozy. You’re smart for choosing this style of home and living. I look forward to seeing what you do in the future.
I would like to comment on the dog crate. My dog - shih tzu - loves her crate. I leave the door open so she can come and go as she wishes. She has a fluffy bed that she lounges in as well as sleep. She seems to like the security and comfort of her crate. She will go into the crate on her own, lie down and watch my husband and me. I think one of the reasons she likes a crate so much Is that she can see what is going on around her.
This is exactly how it is with my Dog lol Its like her own little territory. She loves to hide her toys inside. It’s never used as a punishment
Excellent bones for your home, very clever creating your own house…
Step by step in the right direction. Well Done!
your cabin is great.keep showing your progress.
I'm interested in what you do next with the place. Hope you keep posting. Thanks for sharing
Really like it. Continue to post improvements for us!
Thank you for sharing! Love that you have a window box with flowers. : - ) Appreciate the wide angle view from 9:02. Twelve feet wide feels nice and spacious. Good wishes in your home!
I agree, expensive. But, let me share this with you. We had a 8’x10’ she’d on a cement pad. Needed new siding and a door. That’s all! Frame, roof, window all good. About 4 years ago my uncle resided it for me, for free. Materials to side over $2,500. So keep up the good work👍🏼 Your doing well. Keep track of actual costs. People are interested. Have fun🤗
Great little home. I hope you prepared the ground (packing down, crushed limestone, etc) or one side will eventually sink lower than the other.
Good luck with your small home project. When you’ve finished, it would be great to hear a summary of what you learned. Thanks for sharing this.
I’m happy for you! I’m glad you have a dog! Your tiny home is looking good. I hope you will put in another window for more natural light. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
I would love to figure out how to get that done!
It looks Beautiful!! Love the flowers, the doors and the light syou have inside also. Def subscribed so I can catch all your updates have desired some remote land for well over 2 decades now. I live in the Mitten state also and am doing my all to manifest some restriction-free acreage so I can have alternative structures as homes for myself and people in need to live in as well as house sanctuary animals and greenhouse for food production & water catchment systems. in Livonia we aren't "allowed" to have anything like that or else I'd go the shed, shipping container, train caboose & cobb strawbale/dome way. I also desire to allow people with van homes to have a safe lace to park avoiding zoning. I adore your home and wish you much more success to come!
You got a heck of a lot going for yourself, a car, a roof over your head and a four legged best friend for company... oh and food....
Good for you. I’m gonna watch your others and subscribe. I like these kinds of stories about people making their way in life. I’m 72 years old and I know for sure that if you start small and just keep working at it success is pretty certain. Your attitude is perfect too. I’ll be watching. Thanks for sharing. ❤
YOU DID A PHENOMINAL JOB!! I AM definitely interested!!
Thank you!
Very excited for you! Running electric can be fun and easy ! You can buy supplies at lowes or Home Depot . To run electric to the building you could rent a ditch witch to lay electric and the water line below the frost line. Keep going 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
"Small garbage, fishing pole, dog food.."
That earns a sub from any man lol
i’m gonna start on my tiny home hopefully this summer or fall i’m thinking 16x20 tall barn style so i can do a loft but yeah it just takes time and saving to see progress. also smart creative ways to cut corners. it’s nice to have your own place. flowers are nice and future bushes and potential trees will really make it pretty and enjoyable to be outside with shade. i guess i should go with the concrete pad then
It looks good so far! Keep posting! Show us your dog! I live in 500 sq. feet, love it!
Yes... Definitely film your dog.... Channel mascot... Will get you lots of views.... Also love the colour of your home
That's awesome, there's nothing I admire more than the simply act of helping once-self :) I subscribed to see the process and growth.
How wonderful! You are doing an amazing job!
Lots of work left and lots of fun for you as well. Congrats and Thanks for sharing.
I didn't read all the comments.. someone may have mentioned..Amazon sells screens for double doors you just hang with velcro.. that's what i use. Also careful with the mechanism on the 2nd door that you push in to open, especially if the house isn't level yet. My house isn't and that mechanism got all jacked up and gets stuck . I'm afraid to open now in case it gets stuck open and i won't be able to lock it. Very nice tiny home!
Great job! It looks like it's going to be a wonderful home! I'm glad you're living your dream! :)
For a single guy ,your doing fine, just keep moving forward, it will all come together.
Great little space. A much better way to spend your dollars than rent!
Looks fine. Thanks for showing us your place.
Your very inspiring! Thanks for the tour, young man!
You're very smart. Hopefully, when you decide to marry, she'll be down to earth & love the place. I think it's amazing & basic at the same time. You have shelter, your dog, food, clothes. Thank you for this amazing video.
I can’t wait to see how it looks when finished. Love the outside.
I am interested. It’s fun to watch and we can learn as you go. Keep them coming. It’s a cute one. Love the flower box!
Great job! You are such an inspiration ❤you are a wise young man and no doubt you have a fabulous future in store for you
Thank you!
Nice job. Can’t wait to see the end result. Good luck with it.
Yes I want to see more as you move along. You have a beautiful little house. Good luck on doing your RUclips page.
Looking good so far. Good for you.
My home office is a 12 X 24 room, and it's filled up with my desk and work tables. You are doing a lot with a small space. Congrats on your tiny home. It will be awesome when you finish it.
Thank you. Sounds like an awesome office!
My sister was great for using closet or bedroom type doors for her studio as work tables. She was a freelance commercial artist. Beside working for WDW in central Florida. 73

Love the light bar, can't wait till it's finished. Want something like that myself...

I loved your video, it was a great way to see what that size tiny home looks like from both inside and out. I would really enjoy watching your progress, I can learn a lot from your build. Thanks so much for posting.
Starting with a blank slate looks like a fun challenge to me. Have fun.
You have to start somewhere! YOU did good! Sound like a real nice young man. Good luck
Thank you and good luck.
Yes what your doing is a work in progress. Looking 👀forward how it all turns out in real⏱time for ya! You appear to have a gift🎁& that is a good thing to have. I have great memories growing up in East Lansing & Ann Arbor, Michigan. A man who has a Pup🐶 tells me they are of unconditioal loven💕24/7! My last Pup was Australian Sheep Pup. I rescued at 1 year old. He lived to be 15 & never left my side. He died from Cushings Disease. Grief Is Grief & It Sux's. What name do you go by. Hang in there. always, Tommy🤠
My name is Tyler! Thanks for the support!
trial and error..you are doing a great job at such a young age..i hope to see more..
Love what your doing!
GREAT INTENTIONS, BLESSINGS ON YOUR SUCCESS.
Nice size home. Will check back on your progress !
I'm thinking you need a shed to shed in the near future. I'm totally off grid and I love it. Once I had everything I owned here it was a nightmare. Make a pile for each category and you will definitely be surprised. 👍
Just saw this and such a sweet tiny home...window boxes were the correct choice !... and love the French doors ! ! Good start ! ..
Love it!! Keep posting
You are off to a good start. Please watch the plastic on your hanging rack if the heater is sitting in its home. I am a thrifter, love thrifting. Watch the curbs as you drive. People throw out some amazing stuff just because they dont want to deal with it. God bless and good luck. This is an exciting time in your life. Watch lots of other tiny home videos and get some idea's. One couple used an ironing board base for a pretty large table. It hung on the wall/or proped til needed. Very nice idea. Again I wish you well.
Good bachelor start on life. Kudos', you're on your way!
Cool. You're home looks great. I will also be following you as I want to see the improvements you make.
Looking forward as to what made you decide to go this way and what plans you have for yourself.
I have read all the comments here and there are some great ones.
All the best to you.
Good start!
It's awesome. Way to go. Keep us updated
