Hello:3
Do something for Jesus

What about the water resistance
“Luckily I’ve done this before a few times, so I don’t really know what I’m doing”. Hahah 😂 love it!
Bruh
Do you love it? Who cares. Stop quoting whole parts of the video. We all watched the same thing
@@James-mh4nn Lmao! Get a life.
@@James-mh4nn bruh who hurt you
@@AshleyLynn918 Lmao! Lose some weight
It's missing one Critical Facility. The Crapper.
true
Nature is the best crapper
you've got the woods right next to you
And a shower.
just put a plant pot outside
Im suprised no one is commenting on the solar panels... That 2x4 isn't going to hold those panels when it gets windy. It was flopping around when you were installing the panels. You need to mount the brace to multiple beams under the sheet metal. You can prevent the roof from leaking by drilling a pilot hole, filling it with silicone, applying silicone to the screw, then screwing everything in.
👍
was just about to say that
Yeah, that solar panel mount was terrible
also those solar panels look like harbor freight 4*25w 100W solar panel thing and yeah not much power for that cabin if u decide to run a/c or anything that really needs power
Obviously this cabin is purely for content, I doubt this is even their property
“Okay dude, what does a cabin in the woods have to have?” My initial thought, a demon in the basement and an old book with evil spells, bound with human skin
Ok bro what the flip
@@MrBuckleBuns What? Haha. Evil Dead
@@MrBuckleBuns lo
I was thinking Deadites and Necronomicon as well.
💀💀💀
Suggestions: First, some sort of water filtration system for drinkable water, second, a fridge or mini fridge, and third, a curtain for the loft windows.
Great build!
You don't need a curtain unless you don't want the birds looking at you......
Yo I was just thinking about a curtain after I saw how massive the windows were
There's no restroom!
@@chriszmuda7773they should make an addition for an outhouse!
Water filtration is definitely a priority
This is incredible! Y’all are so talented! Y’all should do a video / vlog, something like.. camping in my tiny home for the weekend. Show us what there is to do in the area. Hanging out in the tiny home. Cooking. Etc. That would be cool! 💜💜
U said it well they have too!!
I gotta be honest I’m always impressed with how y’all learn stuff so quickly and just how good y’all are at building stuff
Same!
thank you!! we watch alot of youtube lol 🤣
Dad, "See what happens is when you're good at something you get more of it to do." No truer words ever spoken, lol. Nice job guys! Love watching your amazing projects!
Nice job, one thing I might do is install an easily changeable in line Water Filter before the Pump to protect it from Calcium & Sediment Deposits.
I was thinking the same
Love the content! How about a video looking back at previous builds, and how they aged.
Yeah. Maybe as an evolution. As skill increases, so does quality.
Ya that would be so cool
Oh yeah I second this
You guys should make sure more water can flow down the creek it already seems like it’s drying out
Indeed. Great build. Awesome location but gotta poo poo the damn due to ecological impact and downstream life and neighbors
You could theoretically use the dam by equipping it with the right design and a turbine to make it hydroelectric and generate more power to store for the cabin.
Is it just me or they didn’t water proof the house
That's what I was thinking the whole time lol
The cabin looks great, what a fun build!
A couple things that worry me a little however...
1.) No housewrap. That's going to potentially mean moisture problems.
2.) No horizonal running OSB beneath the vertical siding. I'm sure this won't cause issues, however the nice thing about running OSB horizonally beneath your siding is that it firmly locks your walls into place. Without it, you do lack a certain amount of horizonal strength, which may be more noticeable on the 2x4 walls.
3.) Single pane windows. Depending on your climate this may not be an issue either...but I live in an area that can reach triple digits during the summer and -30 during the winter, double pane windows are a must.
thank you for your advice! this would be good to implement
Love the cabin, i was wondering, where does wood stove smoke go?
good question! i meant to include a text prompt saying that we bought the wrong one lol... the one in there now is meant to be for outside camping- we ordered a real one after the cabin was done- then we will take the chimney through the wall outside
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Beautiful! I sure do appreciate time-lapse and your Dad! You all did a fabulous job👍🏻🙂
Does the creek lead into a larger body of water? Or lead off of your property? Did you guys look into how your dam/blockage will affect wildlife?
This is definitely cool, but seems weird to mess with a natural water source.
I was kinda thinking this too. Also he said the water from the sink goes back into the creek. Which makes me wonder how much gray water will be going back into the environment.
exactly
@@adrianweldon4218 I don't think he said it goes back into the creek directly, but just straight down onto the ground. But, obviously, it could run-off into the creek since it's so close. Not to mention how it could affect the soil and even the foundation of the home itself.
I know they said they wouldn't be using the sink much, but then that just means creating a dam makes even less sense. They could have just set up a small tank they'd rarely have to fill, or even just carry in one of those gerry cans that van-lifers use whenever they go to the property.
And to have sink water (and soaps, beer, food, etc used there) drain directly back into the creek. Not environmentally responsible at all. I figured the concrete mixed directly in the creek probably took out immediate wildlife already…so maybe it doesn’t matter at this point. Pumps can work in just a few inches of water. Seems like burying a bucket/ container partially at the bottom of the creek bed ( since they say it runs year round) would have done the job just as well and would have been far easier to remove later on.
Couple things I thought about for the battery bank. Should really look into some sort of vent for those. Also, I'd figure out some sort of tray or base for those to be placed onto, in case one leaks battery acid. Great project.
I don't understand how you don't have more subscribers, honestly better then most larger youtubers. Continue to do great things, definitely will be watching.
That is so nice I agree
thank you!! I really appreciate that :)
I watched the whole video, seeing how they made this cabin, and I still don't believe it. It is incredible and beautiful. It looks like it is straight out of a magazine.
This is freaking awesome!! This is mostly definitely my favorite thing ya'll have built. Well done 👏🏻
Since there will probably be a next time, if you're only going to use 1" foam anyway, you can put it on top of the sub floor, that way you don't have any breaks in it or have to worry about animals getting to it. As long as it's high density it will support a click laminate or you can put another sheet of 1/2" over top. Just build your door(s) frame with the extra floor thickness in mind.
Single pane windows are not insulated. The cabin will be cold or hot depending on the weather.
Yep they need to be insulated. It also allow to be opened up or closed
@@awesomeduck500 yeah, but they could use caulk on the windows to water proof it. But still need to be double paned.
Show us your cabin build
@@mattreeves437 wow, such a strong argument.
with the blue paint i thought it was gonna look ugly, however it has turned out to be the most buetiful cabin ive seen!
I'll definitely have to try this when I'm older, even though I live in a suburban family that doesn't camp or hunt, I still have friends and church summer camps to look forward too, I love nature and having a comfortable place to admire it from sounds awesome
Love how much this challenge has pivoted btw, i do still miss some of the challenge content, but the building stuff just really launched off and it's a great thing to do with your brother.
Wow chay, you absolutely KILLED this build🔥The cinematography, and editing were incredible to see!
This build has to be one of my top favorites that you have done. You're killing it with the content😤
What a nice build!
I genuinely would love to spend some days in a Cabin like that.
You really outdid yourself on this one! Loved it great job and keep up the good work buddy!
Wow… That’s really perfect in every way… Amazing location… Very stylish inside and outside… Love the porch swing… Y’all thought of everything… The solar power is brilliant…
Great Job Y’all… Love It !!!
💙💯💙😎
This is pretty sweet. perfect little get away spot. Nice job!
The dam can be used with a couple of electric motors to make electricity for the water pump.
You guys did almost everything to the book. Good job. Wow, amazing
i love seeing the improvement through your projects
Absolutely amazing. You guys make it look so easy
I love the build, but as a builder myself, I see some issues...you should have dropped the floor joists of the deck below the joists in the cabin. This is a recipe for disaster if the deck gets any water...it will infiltrate under the bottom plate as it's at the same level as the exterior deck. And the joists in the loft are too small. 2x6 minimum would be best.
I love how you built this house. It's very beautifuland awesome. The outside of the house looks Victorian modern and I love it
Seeing videos like these makes me wanna have a good relationship with my family thank you
You guys have mad skills! The entiire build is sick!
im not lying this is probaly the most beautiful cabin build i have seen so far keep up the good work make them dreams possible and enjoy many movie nights inside your cabin thank you
Looks great ! Having the creek there is soo nice , you could build a small hydro elec. gererator for extra power .
Great job guys!!! The house looks amazing!!!!
Incredible work from you, keep up the good work!
Great Build!
Only comment I could make is looks like you used a double-plug cord to backfeed the outlet at 14:09 which could zap someone if it gets yoinked out of the outlet while the end is hot. It would be much better to use a Power Inlet Receptacle such as the Leviton 5278-CWP so it's a lot safer. But otherwise, good job!
This window trick is possibly the best thing ive ever seen on youtube thank you!
These are my favorite videos to watch on RUclips. There’s nothing better out there. Congrats on the cabin. Is it your family’s land?
Your videos are only getting better, amazing effort chay and Colby!😊
Living the American dream! You've grown a lot as a videomaker, great work, Chay
W Bro🔥 When is the interior video for the Luxury Tiny Cabin coming out?
Dude is talented!!!
Love these builds
I always watch your vids and get jealous instantly I would love to live in this great job and keep doing what you’re doing
It’s beautiful, although I would’ve mounted the flatscreen on the wall to make it look bigger in the living room.
I can see a drunk side stumbling right into the creek. Nice build lil brother, great video, thanks
Absolutely stunning.
Beautiful build…love it.
Have you thought about doing interviews? Also, in terms of content, I recommend keep it diverse. A lot of RUclipsrs that I follow cover a wide range of content. I realize that’s a lot of work, but quantity of content gives you some latitude to be creative.
the drywall broke my heart ^^ such a wonderfull cabin deserves to have wooden walls. other than that, a really great build!
same for us honestly, the original plan was to do shiplap everywhere, but that wouldve added about $2,000 to the cost
those spot lights you put in the ground and aimed at the house, you should aim them up the trees it would give such a great aesthetic
This is an awesome build. A cost breakdown would be really interesting.
Make an outhouse next
Just use the creek :) It's the circle of life.
No you don't use the creek but instead do your business on the ground and cover/bury it@@juiciness
Love ur vid❤❤
Always supporting U ❤
Amazing work!

Job well done guys! Greetings from down under Australia….stay safe!
The Wooden Cabin is Very Beautiful
Amazing just amazing
Been here since the 1000th subscriber and watched every step y'all took in the walmart marathon extended video. This was awesome!
Wow that's very amazing Chay. It seems like you got 3 homes.
That is spectacular.
Love it my dude keep up the great work ✌️
Epic build/video. FYI: It's a 12:12 pitch, not 45°. It's a "form", not a "mold". Not sure why you didn't take advantage of the 8' studs, could've gotten an extra foot in the loft. 3-way switch to turn off lights in the loft?
I love your builds! They’re simple, but charming and make us folks think we could do the same…if you, your brother and your dad (are you sure he’s the dad?! He looks way too young to be the dad!😊) would come help!
One structural mistake-you did not put purlins horizontally for the metal roofing. Pretty cool cabin.
I never watched you before this video, loved the video and used you link to download the app just to help out 🙌🙌
thank you!!
Excellent job guys
incredible! so jealous, this is a dream to be able to afford to do a project like this, and have time for it. i love vicariously through you 😂
Please don't get me wrong with my following statements - you did an outstanding job on the build and it looks GREAT!
I wish I had HALF the talent at building as you guys do. I can do the work, it just won't look anywhere near as good as your craftsmanship.
Those solar panels are NOT going to provide enough power. They are in the shade under the trees, AND there are only 3 of them. For that TV alone you would need those 3 panels to have 7 or 8 hours of direct sunlight to watch an entire movie (TV power, inverter losses)
Also kinda wondered why you didn't just use 12V lighting and water pump? You could even have used an RV TV that runs off 12VDC. That way you wouldn't need the inverter (power hog).
Do you do Q&A videos?? I have so many questions about your builds.
Mates! I just found your channel and subscribed! You mates are awesome! Amazing cabin build... I could live there! See you in your next video! Greetings from Australia!
I know an OG when I see one and your dad is definitely an OG
This was honestly one of my favorite videos of yours.. mainly because this is a dream of mine😂 just curious on how much you spent to built something like that.😳 I hope I can do that someday
you guys should definitely make a video of you guys living in the cabin
You should think of adding outdoor bathroom too.
Great build btw👏🏻
I'm bored... *casually builds an entire house
Great job Chay! I love it
Amazing video man hope it goes viral like it deserved too🔥🔥
i would love to see another part to this build
Nice job guys!
Thats insanely sick
Looks great! Only thing is that if I were you, I would add a filtration system for the water and make the windows 2 pane.
very nice, the windows on top are nice, but maybe next design have an option to open them for cross air on those hot days.
make the ladder like the railling on the top
You guys are killing me with these all that’s next is for you guys to start building vehicles for a reduced cost, than you guys can start your own online learning platform with classes on how to build anything with style for reduced costs and make millions. I love you guys Go Chay for President!!!
Beautiful build.
That's amazing!
Should have buried the water line deeper. Beautiful build. Love the color choice
That’s a gorgeous little build really am jealous looks like a stoners paradise 😂🍁🍁
awesome build lads ❤
Thank you 😁
love this type of content, your vids never seem to disappoint!
Sick build!!
