I learned that from my brother. After lowering his BMW, he had to replace all the bushings. Because who ever lowered it, didn't do it. Have a blessed day 👌
That's a long time back. I don't remember since it was for a customer. But they should be good for a long time. I do think they where 2 inch though. That's what I had linked in the description anyways.
Yes, you want the complete vehicle weight on the tires before you loosen and retighten your control arm bushings. In the automotive industry, I learned it as ride height.
Yes I do. Why don't you DM me on Instagram or Facebook? Just search for autotechworld on either platform and make sure you are looking for the same logo / profile picture I got here on RUclips. Thanks for your inquiry 👌
Literally makes me cringe every time he hits the metal truck parts with a metal hammer, he should have been using a plastic dead blow.... thank you sir for solidifying my opinion of not letting someone else work on my shit...
Happy to help in any way, even if it means solidifying your opinion. 😉 Thank you for stating your opinion, it may help others going through the comments after watching the video 👍
The bit about the bushing tension towards the end is something I’ve never seen anyone else talk about. It makes a lot of sense.

You can actually put them on with out removing everything that's to much work lol
Ok. Thanks. Later when I was done everything I thought so too. But I believe I just went by the instructions 🙈
good video. could you just take the 5 bolts out of the cv axle and raise it up to get room for the spacer bolt instead of taking everything loose?
You might be. I don't know, haven't tried. But it sure sounds like an idea👍
Thanks for the compliment by the way 🙏
Could you just loosen up the control arm bolts before lowering it on the ground and then just tighten it up once it's sitting on the ground
Yes that should work just fine.
I wanna lower it to the ground befor I do the control arm bushings right??

Next time loosen the upper control arm and it won’t go swinging back with pressure
I guess it would work in this case, since I was loosening the upper control arm bushings anyways. Good catch 👍
AutoTechWorld that’s what I do and it helps to connect it back too. Good informational video
