ScannerDanner recommends this, I've been trying to see if there are developers that are modding newer DSOs that have 2 & 4 channel options which are upgraded versions from the same manufacturers, it is weird that AES is not using those newer devices to flash their firmware to boost sales.
Having Marie help you with your car reminds me when I would hit a wall working on my truck and my wife would come out to the garage giving her perspective on the problem and a hand if needed, and it helped me get energized again to tackle the truck from a new angle. Those were good memories.
Just came across your video using the U Scope, just got one in today finally after the UPS driver decided to drop it off at a unknown address, on my street but luckily, they brought it to me in one piece lol. I been messing around with it, really like it so far. Seems like a very powerful little tool once I get the hang of it. Another great take on your process in Diagnosing, about as real world as you can get. Thanks Man.
Even though new machine is not comfortable to use. I think it sped up the diagnosis. Power a half rate is bad. I guess at the hidden end we can see why. Never down play your knowledge. Everyday it is a learning day. Being late makes things hard as well. Glad you still made the late night video. Good work.
Despite you're feeling tired and cranky I was able to understand the hall effect waveform and what you are looking for. This is the first time I got it after watching most of your videos twice. Thanks again for being such a great educator for anaogue types like myself trying to understand a digital world. Thank you

Eric, when you went to the meters section..if you wanted to see the voltage the whole time, you scroll down to the min/max and press OK and the min max will be shown on main screen until you either turn meters off or turn scope off.
It's not an "Official" SMA video without the compressor firing off. :) Good troubleshooting technique. Excellent mention of the amplitude of the waveform. I would run into correct, but low amplitude waveforms in a lot of electronics.
