Hi Dr. Ekberg, good morning from the Philippines! We started working up on our pregnancy just this September, we had a lot of tests to check on our health condition and I was diagnosed with a 9.88cm myoma, microadenoma, hyperthyroidism, hyperprolactinoma, and to top it off I'm also a pre-diabetic. My OB recommended your channel and it was indeed a blessing. The last time I had the test to check if I had any improvement, the Endocrinologist was impressed with the results because I followed a whole food diet and healthy living. I'll repeat all the tests again by January as recommended and I'm very confident that the results will reverse all my health problems because of your guidance. I really really appreciate your time in putting together these videos for us. Your such an angel 😇 God bless us all 😊
I'm living, breathing, walking proof of what eating the wrong foods does to the human body. After six plus decades of eating the wrong things, I finally began eating the keto way 23 days ago, and I'll never go back to eating high carbs, and all the non-food "foods" that are shoved into our minds via ads and other forms. Now I'm feeling much better than I've felt since I was 10 or 11 years old, and I'm 67 now; my a1c is well within normal, weight is dropping off, and much of the inflammation that has nearly crippled me with spinal pain, among other parts of me not wanting to move much, is at least 40% reduced. It took me 60+ years to get here, and it's going to take time for my body to heal, but knowing that it's happening makes it all worthwhile.
I was spending more on foods when I was doing the SAD diet because it's easy to eat out. A year ago I started LC + IF along with eating good quality food and it turned out I spend less on foods because I started to cook and almost don't get to eat outside anymore because the food selection outside is terrible. Plus cooking allowed me to control the ingredients.
Great video! This is eye opening for millions of people! I rather eat a bit less and I know that is healthier than keep eating junk all day long. I just found you and I subscribed right away. This is the info we need, not the hidden truth that comes from so many people that try to sugarcoat stuff and they say 'use margarine not butter or coconut oil' that's better for you. 😔
We have a lot to chose from when it comes to healthy nutritional videos. Dr. Ekberg provides the only ones that I can watch more than once. I find that as I learn, it’s helpful to return to them on occasion as there’s a lot to learn, and reviewing can really reinforce prior lessons and perhaps show how I may have misinterpreted something, or did not fully grasp something. Also, the only thing he’s selling is health awareness, nothing more. No special supplements, herbs, snacks etc. Those you can find elsewhere and I watch them, but for educational and motivational purposes, this is where I go.
Eating healthy couldn't be cheaper for me. I grow a good sized garden every year and it gets filled with all manner of greens. Turnip greens are my favorite for cooking, but I also have collards, spinach, lettuce (dark colored) cabbage and plenty of beets. I used to pickle beets but that uses a lot of sugar so this year I will just can them. I also grow tomatoes and peppers and make salsa. And I can wild pokeweed which grows in abundance here.
After 60 years of ignorant eating I wonder if my life is already ruined. I don't know. I started going along with your program a few months ago and maybe I'll save myself the diabetic routine...

That WalMart Organic Grass-fed beef really IS good. We discovered it last week, away from home, in a place where WalMart is the best grocery option. One pound is about right for me, since I'm down to one meal per day. The pound blocks are being poached whole for us, with various spices, and the resultant beef stock is being used for blanching our vegetables. So, the vegetables emerge from their baths, coated with spiced tallow - to which we add, at the table, butter AND olive oil. And thanks for the qualified endorsement of black beans. They're probably exactly what I need, tomorrow, with my chicken breast and spinach. And yes, I'm losing weight - am below the 'Overweight' BMI for the first time since I started lifting big - didn't even know going below that threshold was even POSSIBLE, since bodybuilders generally have high BMI.
These numbers seem a bit off to me. I am very poor. I only get $1500 take home per month and I have to spend $500 per month for groceries (and I buy the cheap stuff). We do eat low carb. Not everyone can afford grass fed and organic. What are we supposed to do?
