I'm a housekeeper but for hospitals not hotels, but I would imagine the sink will be more safe for the next people to wash their hands in, than it was for that guy to cook in. So much bleach.

My mom always said "You never knew what the last guest did on the bathroom counter" and I now believe her. I can't fathom finding pieces of raw ground beef on a hotel bathroom countertop. I would be able to take it like HowToBasic and assume it's just gross for the sake of being gross, but all I can think of is the poor cleaning staff!

Also I had a lot of coworkers clean the coffee makers with nonfood safe cleaners to get to our time limits. I HIGHLY recommend NOT to use any coffeemaker or unsealed glasses in a hotel.
As someone who currently works in a hotel, the cleaning chemicals are also making me so concerned. Also, how much money is he spending on damages to the things he's using? That's how you know it's bulls***. If you cover the end of a hairdryer like that and the heat backs up into the dryer, it'll short it out, at least for awhile until it cools back off. There's no way he could have just left it running for 7 hours or even 1 hour- after 5 minutes or so it would have cut off and he'd have to wait 5-10 minutes at least to restart it. That's if he didn't eventually burn something out by doing it over and over. Plus, those bathroom plugs they have in hotels (and many people have at home in bathrooms and kitchens with the buttons, the GFCI outlets) would trip and he'd have to constantly reset them.

the fish in the sink reminds me of the most horrifying white trash thing i have ever seen as a texan. my mom and grandpa and all us childrens went noodling and caught a big ass catfish, and she kept it in the apartment bathtub. for a few days. it obviously wasn't doing too well when she finally killed it, in the bathtub, and guess what! that fish was very pregnant. the bathroom smelled entirely like fish and was co-vered in fish blood and so many fish eggs it was absolutely insane. and we didn't even eat it.

When i took it home i put it in the bathtub and just put like table salt in the water to make it saltwater.
