One thing you didn't emphasise is that kink needs to be 'safe and consensual' which means kinksters and fetishists frown upon exposing the public to their kinks because the public can't consent if you just do it publicly.

@@tatiana4050 it has to be connected to some form of plumbing for water to flow in it in the first place, and idk if she showed it in this reaction video, but the whole "punch hack" video shows that they plugged the toilet up with towels or something before they put the ice in... so i have no idea if that's an actual toilet they use or if the brown water stains on the inside of the tank were just decoration to enhance the gross out factor of the video, but one thing i can confirm is that the toilet is hooked up to some sort of plumbing somewhere in that house

There's a TikTok account that I see a lot on my FYP where a lady duets food videos and does an "is this a fetish" analysis-- most of the videos, the answer was yes, but I have seen a few where she concluded that it was just a weird recipe and not fetish content. The defining factors tend to be hand position, whether you get to see results, if there's a lout of pouring going on, and the dialouges between the camera guy and the person making the food.

The "fresh eggs" hack made me so fucking angry. It's so wastefull and inconsiderate to not only do it IN THE MIDDLE OF A GROCERY STORE but also ruin produce that you haven't even PAID FOR. I'm pretty sure about the subliminal thing. There are lots of videos like that that are actually marketed towards children on RUclips kids and all. Some of that Elsa/Spiderman epidemic was like that and it's absolutely disgusting and bizarre. No wonder it makes my skin crawl so deeply. We as adults pick up these cues even if we dont rationalize it there's a response to it and in my case is a deep feeling of nausea and uneasiness. It really makes me anxious and triggered. I remember in middle school where the girls cup video (not gonna say the actual name of the video obviously but if you were also traumatized by that you know) was literally everywhere as in it was all some kids would talk about. That and other triggering content kids would send as "pranks" like very graphic images of dead bodies or skin infested with larvae that I never forgot and still trigger me when I think about them. Obviously no one was forcing you to click on those links other kids would send you but a lot of the times it was 1- normalized as a common "prank" 2- talked about a lot between kids and the other kids would in turn want to know what everyone was talking about and eventually get exposed to these links. For the love of all protect your children. A lot of parents have absolutely no idea about the actual depth of the kind of stuff kids can get exposed to. From those very graphic images and videos tô subliminal ones like these. It's so utterly sick and it just reminds me how vulnerable children actually are to predators and other sick/irresponsible people's poor choices and are gonna end up scarred for life by that.
Another problem is when it seeps into the real world. I was just chilling outside a SCHOOL and this bus covered in nsfl gore drives by. How in the world are people allowed to do that

this is something i have been thinking about a lot lately. i have rewatched movies or shows i liked as a kid and there’s so much sexual innuendo and other inappropriate content that you don’t always pick up on. as a kid/teen i remember feeling more mature than my age but now when i look back i realize just how young i really was.
i remember a lot of ppl were already sexually active in some form before high school. when i was in middle school parents knew even less about the internet. i remember my friends and i talking to “hs/older” boys who often turned out to be adults catfishing kids. ppl were a lot more blatant about things like grooming bc the laws at the time weren’t great.
of course i was exposed to gore and gross things too, some of which still triggers me when they’re referenced online. the sex stuff just sticks out in my memory more bc i’m a girl. i remember the feeling when men and boys started treating me differently. i wasn’t ready for my childhood to be over so young. idk if it’s better or worse now for kids.
the shit we got exposed to is disgusting to look back on. people who were young in the liveleak era saw multiple videos of people dying and laughed, and now kids are finding this stuff on tiktok with people getting tricked into watching gore or turning it into a trend by re-popularizing run the gauntlet (although it's now been watered down a little bit). plus there's the bizarre fetish content marketed toward kids (elsagate, whatever these videos are, the gross games that have been on girlsgogames over the past few years)

i have little egg holders in my fridge so i throw out the egg cartons, but that doesn't mean there isn't an easier way to tell if eggs are fresh. you take a glass, pot, anything that can hold water and an egg, then you fill it with water and gently put in the egg. if it sinks to the bottom and lays on its side, it's perfectly fresh. if it sinks with one side pointing up, it's still good but should be eaten soon. if it floats it's bad.

If it is kink, it’s still a problem simply because they are doing it in public and posting on a large public platform. While exhibitionism is a totally fine thing, it has to be in an environment where everyone who might see it is aware and consenting. Even though it’s not overt sexuality in this case, it’s involving the public (and minors) in what seems like sexual foreplay without consent.
Ok so it's not a problem if it's just silly content for shock value but once you find out that it appeals to a certain fetish community and they continueto make content to appeal to both target audiences, all the sudden the exact same content needs to come with a warning? That's ridiculous. Literally ANYTHING can be a fetish. Let's just put warnings on everything. That way they no longer have any meaning at all.
