It's dumber when you go to a collage and see most people don't only wear hoodies and sweats. It's probably just the week before, during, or after exams.
And like oh what changed from people "dressed up more" for school? Well I mean you have to work 17 hours a day minimum wage to afford like Yale, instead of 5 hours lmao

I will say one thing for the baby steak, the long strips are the way to go when feeding a baby steak, they just gnaw out all the juices. They could choke on smaller pieces because they can't actually eat steak yet. The issue there is the parents being pretentious about cake
I was honestly also worried about the other stuff i saw on the platter. I don't know what they were, maybe sugar rabbits or something i didn't look close, but those were smaller than toys that say "not intended for children under 3, chocking hazard"

My least favorite part of Reels is seeing a perfectly normal reel of a woman existing and then opening the comments and finding the most rancid energy Sure that's just the entire internet but it feels particularly rancid on reels
I feel like it’s more meaningful to have (broke) friends willing to give me a couple bucks or $200 dollars if I desperately needed it than for some millionaire to give me what to them is pocket change. I’ve had friends offer something more meaningful than money; housing if I was homeless, a ride if I needed to go to work, food if I was starving, advice and a hug if I was struggling with the weight of it all. Love all of the people who have supported me when they had no obligation to, and shout out to anyone else who has been able to do anything to help others in their time of need. What may seem like no big deal to you could be huge for them. So much love to you all ❤
Honestly, the first year I went back to school I was like "I'm gonna dress beautifully and be the cool older student." and now I just go to class in some slightly scuffed up leather boots, jeans, and a nice shirt/sweater. I'm in class for 5+ hours, and on campus for 8+, I'm dressing comfortably.
Glad we're finally speaking about this tiktok comments are actually funny sometimes instagram reels are just a bunch of assholes who dont realize digital footprints are real
omg i love uniquely jeanie she's so funny her outros are always different too 💅 middle aged women on instagram are my favorite they understand the internet in a way i never could at my young teen age
men unintentionally ratting themselves out about never being with a woman while being so confident with what they’re saying will give me joy every single time
the college girl sounds like my rheumatologist who always roasts me over watching my lectures at home and not in person. sir, i have a chronic illness, you treat me for it, it’s not a competition
something tells me the girl complaining about sweats and hoodies for college class would be very much upset about the outfits me and my fashion design peers wear (especially the fit ones😭😭)
Instagram reels is a mess, every couple days Instagram shows me, a trans woman, a video of some guy saying that he would happily kill a trans woman if she didn’t disclose that she was trans as soon as the guy started flirting. Tens of thousands of likes usually and the comments are always filled with gifs implying that they would also murder trans women for something like that. I get that it’s probably just a bunch of 13 yo edgelords but it still isn’t very cool that Instagram likes to remind me on a regular basis that there are people who would want to kill me over something so trivial
It's not even edge lords, it's often actually men too😭 like most men watch p*rn and many popular categories are women being harmed, trans women too being degraded. It's gross.

even though i wasn't raised catholic i can relate to the 'catholic goes to mega church' reel bc the first time I went to a mega church it definitely felt theatrical and a little overwhelming lol. it was basically a concert with a sermon in the middle and the church made so much money they had the budget to film weekly video announcements and even skits occasionally.
Yeah but RUclips shorts are also unhinged like I just watched some shorts of food and cats but then it changes into redpill, religious, right wing bullsh;t
I forget that people don't actively look at stuff enough for reels to pick up on their own tastes. All my reels tend to be are art videos, cats, and information about Gaza/Sudan/Congo. In all honestly a lot of reels feels closer to the weird side of tiktok from 2019/2020, but I genuinely don't know what instagram users are drinking that make them comment half the stuff they do. It can literally be the more innocent, non-hurtful animal video you've seen and people will be saying some of the worst things you can imagine.
I didn’t think my boyfriend was attractive from his profile on hinge but he was so funny I decided I’d go out with him and see how it went. Turns out he’s much more attractive in person so it was a win win for me because he’s so kind and funny and really being attractive was a nice bonus
My ex wife had to ask her male friend if he thought I was cute cause she couldn't tell from my Myspace profile pic that was me on Halloween as a vampire. She was like. I didn't know if you always wore collars and fangs... She learned I did and our kid wants to be "scene" 😂😂😂
I had a similar experience. My boyfriend wasn't the most attractive guy I knew at the time, but his personality WAS attractive! He was kind, funny, SO SMART, I definitely fell head over heels for him FAST. After knowing him for a year, I found him to be the most attractive man I'd ever met. Meeting in person for the first time also pretty much sealed the deal. I also found out a year or two ago that I might be ace, so that probably affected my initial attraction as well 😂
19:20 as someone who DOES dress up (bcus i like it) i hate hearing ppl say we have to dress certain ways to get people to like us. i hear it from my mom all the time and honestly its so degrading and i feel bad for people who think this. dress for yourself, not others. if you love what youre wearing, whether it makes you comfortable or happy or boosts your pride etc. then i see no problem with people wearing what they want. we shouldn't feel controlled by others to wear what they like. people who believe they need people to look at their appearance to like them are deeply insecure and have an unhealthy relationship with their own body and ego. my mother is this same way and it makes me feel bad for her also, the way she says "people used to dress up for college, it was a privilege" without thinking deeper about WHY college is a privilege is so???? like yeah it was a privilege bcus the only people who went were rich, it was very hard to get into university if you were raised by a working class family. therefore, most people who attended college had the ability to dress up
A much better way to word the “when you didn’t find your partner attractive” reel is “when you ignore ‘love at first sight’ and fall in love with your soulmate”
I love how you start with saying stuff like "this video made me physically uncomfortable" and then show the video to make all of us uncomfortable too 🥰
19:37 LMAO !! If she is that worried about it, why isn’t she wearing something more dressy? She clearly has those clothes, because she wears them. It’s just ridiculous to think that fashion doesn’t change over time.
19:45 girl has never looked at the arts building, i mean yeah most people are in comfy cute clothes but all my art major friends dress UP for their 6:30am sketch class like HELLO
20:56 as a former Christian this made me realize just how weird the type of wording Christians use all the time is😭 I’ve just been desensitized to it bc I’ve heard it a lot

18:54 Tbh I really don’t think anyone nobody cares if you show up in pajamas or have a complete outfit. I’d ask her if she could remember what any one of her classmates was wearing and am sure she couldn’t tell me. It really doesn’t matter; we’re all just trying to pass English girl.
i laughed out loud at the baby getting surf and turf cause on my first birthday my parents went to a restaurant with me and apparently i kept harassing her for more bites of her lobster and by the time they brought me a slice of chocolate cake i was so full of “grownup food” that i could hardly eat any of it

True. My kid didn't like cake at 1 and still not a fan of sweet. We made her a cake shaped like Boots cause she was a Dora fan. Everyone wanted me to feed her the first piece and I was like. Oh she doesn't like cake. They kept encouraging me to give her a piece. So I gave into pressure. She gave me the meanest side eye when that spoon left her mouth and spit it out. I gave her a small cup of olives and cheddar cheese to make her happy. I tell you story cause it's always been funny in my head but I won't take a video about it
@@Yorokobi224this is the funniest shit i ever heard sorry but imagining a baby side eyeing because they want olives😭😭😭

Ngl, "suck down" sounds like some kind of cursed WWE cagematch.
They won't go down on a woman if it doesn't smell like flowers but want their gross d to be "slurped" 😂
Dudes have never made a woman o in their lives
I grew up in a mega church and yes it is EXTREMELY overstimulating
“How has this uni merch, sold on campus, covered in my school’s logo, become THE college uniform?” 🤦🏽♀️
I had no idea there were so many odd posts on Insta reels considering I just use mine to post my speed paints and watch art-related memes on there. 😭
Exactly lol, tho if you look at any queer related things so many bad comments are on them
my reels are mostly art on my art account but on my personal I see a lot of posts that aren't too bad but the comments are almost always horrible
if you look at any comments it can be of kittens and people will be wildly horrific for any reason they can imagine @@catroe
that sounds like a much more pleasant algorithm!
@@AnnamarieForcino it really is!
My least favorite part of Reels is seeing a perfectly normal reel of a woman existing and then opening the comments and finding the most rancid energy
Sure that's just the entire internet but it feels particularly rancid on reels
Yes the comments no matter what the reel is about is dudes hating women.
So much love to you all ❤
Well let's see what's going on on the dark side of Instagram, thank you, Anna, for doing the dirty work for us
Honestly, the first year I went back to school I was like "I'm gonna dress beautifully and be the cool older student." and now I just go to class in some slightly scuffed up leather boots, jeans, and a nice shirt/sweater. I'm in class for 5+ hours, and on campus for 8+, I'm dressing comfortably.
Glad we're finally speaking about this tiktok comments are actually funny sometimes instagram reels are just a bunch of assholes who dont realize digital footprints are real
they know, they just don't care
omg i love uniquely jeanie she's so funny her outros are always different too 💅 middle aged women on instagram are my favorite they understand the internet in a way i never could at my young teen age
Eyebleach is a worthy gift, but a new Annamarie Forcino video is the greatest gift of all!
putting in a request to the DJ for more Instagram reels, these were so out of pocket and I’m here for it
you got it 🫡
men unintentionally ratting themselves out about never being with a woman while being so confident with what they’re saying will give me joy every single time
the college girl sounds like my rheumatologist who always roasts me over watching my lectures at home and not in person. sir, i have a chronic illness, you treat me for it, it’s not a competition
something tells me the girl complaining about sweats and hoodies for college class would be very much upset about the outfits me and my fashion design peers wear (especially the fit ones😭😭)
It's gross.
you need a burner account you can use to find content so your actual instagram isn’t blinding you
what's the fun in that?!
Coward.. (this is a joke don't take it seriously)
She can dress up for university running on an hour of sleep because you have had assignments all week and two tests in one day. I'm showing up in bordeline pyjamas, thanks.
Thanks for getting old Catholic hymns from my childhood stuck in my head Annamarie, I’m gonna be signing “this is the day the lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad” the whole week
shoutout to annamarie for making a holiday series that is CONSISTENTLY entertaining every episode 🔥 i’m excited for next year!
As a college professor I feel obligated to point out that I go to work wearing sweatshirts and I really much don't care about what students and colleagues wear.
The "suck down" dudes definitely are proof that we don't choose our sexuality, there are SO many women I know (including me) who wish we were not heterosexual women, sigh....
believe it or not you can fix that if you try hard enough... probably
Bi and plan people are with ya, friend 😔✊🏻
i keep getting stuck in the hellscape of instagram reels, it truly is a trap
even though i wasn't raised catholic i can relate to the 'catholic goes to mega church' reel bc the first time I went to a mega church it definitely felt theatrical and a little overwhelming lol. it was basically a concert with a sermon in the middle and the church made so much money they had the budget to film weekly video announcements and even skits occasionally.
tiktok was better than reels honestly. fb shorts is another breed.
Aggred
Yeah but RUclips shorts are also unhinged like I just watched some shorts of food and cats but then it changes into redpill, religious, right wing bullsh;t
there's shorts on fb?!?!?! 😩
@@AnnamarieForcino you'd be surprised to know the content on fb. my mum is obsessed with those shorts.
@@AnnamarieForcino ya my grandma has FB and I overhear the stuff on the shorts occasionally, and that shit is crazy
I also found out a year or two ago that I might be ace, so that probably affected my initial attraction as well 😂
I used to work at a Mega-Church and yes, they did in fact spend millions on really stupid stuff while also paying 9$ an hour...
19:20 as someone who DOES dress up (bcus i like it) i hate hearing ppl say we have to dress certain ways to get people to like us. i hear it from my mom all the time and honestly its so degrading and i feel bad for people who think this. dress for yourself, not others. if you love what youre wearing, whether it makes you comfortable or happy or boosts your pride etc. then i see no problem with people wearing what they want. we shouldn't feel controlled by others to wear what they like. people who believe they need people to look at their appearance to like them are deeply insecure and have an unhealthy relationship with their own body and ego. my mother is this same way and it makes me feel bad for her
also, the way she says "people used to dress up for college, it was a privilege" without thinking deeper about WHY college is a privilege is so???? like yeah it was a privilege bcus the only people who went were rich, it was very hard to get into university if you were raised by a working class family. therefore, most people who attended college had the ability to dress up
A much better way to word the “when you didn’t find your partner attractive” reel is “when you ignore ‘love at first sight’ and fall in love with your soulmate”
Jeanie is bringing that 90s sitcom vibe and I love her.
I love how you start with saying stuff like "this video made me physically uncomfortable" and then show the video to make all of us uncomfortable too 🥰
19:37
LMAO !!
As a human named Rebecca, I feel offened on behalf of my womb.
I wish they had an option to turn off reels and shorts ☹️
Yess it’s so annoying 😭 they’re all over my feed
20:56 as a former Christian this made me realize just how weird the type of wording Christians use all the time is😭 I’ve just been desensitized to it bc I’ve heard it a lot
Only just started browsing Instagram reels and they’re mostly art. Glad they mostly reflect the kind of content I follow.
I am also neurodivergent roman catholic turned agnostic and the most interesting thing that happened during church was a mouse making it's way in
Honestly the comments are the worse part of it. I genuinely have a funny fyp on my insta reels, but the comments are always terrible. Like it could be a video of a woman having fun or a child getting hurt and ppl in the comments will have the worse thing to say about it😭
Edit: 3:07 she literally started talking about this I'm dead🙃
10:50 i also grew up catholic and i never saw anything like this until i went on a christian getaway with my boyfriend’s church. They did everything way differently, they had fun songs and dances and i was like “damn i dont have to kneel?!”
I had to go to a church with no air conditioning and just 5 ceiling fans that were 15 feet up.
@@nBasedAce aaaaa that sucks so hard dude
@@BatsweepWe were the only catholic church in town with no statuary or nice architecture. It was just all wood inside, but we did have the stained windows for each station of the cross.

Instagram reel comments are some of the most VILE things I've seen in my 15 years of being on the internet.
Instagram reels is just my version of Tiktok since I just dont want to get it and honestly? Its pretty damn entertaining sometimes lmao
i’m going to be honest the 12 days until sinmas is the only way i can tell how close christmas is 😭
growing up as a mormon, that mega church video made me stare at the wall for a good five minutes.
we just sit in pews and listen to really boring talks and then go to classes
Guarantee most goofy megachurch videos are Baptists. I'm a Baptist who is currently dating a Mormon man. He finds us Baptist folks interesting lol I had to explain, we get a little...dramatic lol.
6:13 this cut off before the worst part, the next one literally sounded like a fucking horse whinnying I was crying
MY GIRL JEANNIEEEEE. ive been unironically following that lady with the outro for like 6 months now i love her little outros
I think your title was a massive understatement. It should've been, "Instagram Reels Should've Been Aborted."
as an instagram user i didnt realize how insane instagram reels were until i created a new account and the app didnt know any of my interests yet. that place is awful (never open the comments section)
I'm a PhD student in a prestigious program and I show up to classes 100% dressed much worse than most of the undergraduates. Like straight up sweat shorts + crocs + giant hoodie + greasy depression hair. Yet i still go to school and work and do research and somehow get by fine
everything anyone says in a street interview is a joke. if some guy is like "I don't expect anything, I just like to be nice" they don't post it
I started posting my cosplays videos from my tik tok on to my Instagram reel like two months ago and forever regretted it after all death threats and racial slurs I received for no reason
once again we’ve been blessed by sinmas 🙏🙏
Jeannie is the main character and we’re all living in her world
Ngl, Uniquely Jeannie ATE with that outro 👑
That bedazzled clamp is called a speculum. I know this because my mum was a sexual health nurse and when she left her job her colleagues gave her a bedazzled speculum and it was always kicking around the house growing up.
18:54 Tbh I really don’t think anyone nobody cares if you show up in pajamas or have a complete outfit. I’d ask her if she could remember what any one of her classmates was wearing and am sure she couldn’t tell me. It really doesn’t matter; we’re all just trying to pass English girl.
and it's been that way for a loooooong time
ur content genuinely makes my day, merry sinmas :>❤️
thank you so so much!!
i laughed out loud at the baby getting surf and turf cause on my first birthday my parents went to a restaurant with me and apparently i kept harassing her for more bites of her lobster and by the time they brought me a slice of chocolate cake i was so full of “grownup food” that i could hardly eat any of it
"it wasn't from god, it was from slobbing on that knob" BARS
Not Annamarie calling a speculum a "CLAMP"
*shudders in lesbian*
21:47 lol i think the W is "wet" 😂😂
bro "Uniquely Jeannie" is a queen that was so funny and stupid and wholesome
Lmaoo that girl complaining about dressing up for college is so funny like dress up if you want… why everybody else gotta do it? 😭
I found my long distance girlfriend in the comment section of a lesbian Instagram reel. So it's not all bad lol
The college girl was yapping cause she’s also dressed like that like why doesn’t she start with herself before speaking on others like shawty is dead in the same fit she’s yapping about 💀💀💀
i just texted “god has opened my womb again” (from the video mentioned around 21:00) to my husband without context. we are both biological men. now i wait.
The girl complaining about the outfit for University WHILE ALSO OWNING SAID OUTFIT. 🤣🤣
18:56 I attended a college near hers (assuming she’s wearing merch from her own school), and this segment is so ironic because that college is known for being the “jock school”. Maybe she’s just salty she didn’t get to go to Cornell 💀
Luckily the kpop side of insta reels isnt too toxic- which is surprising considering our reputation lol
This is nightmarish, and I don't know how you or anyone else survived, but I thank you for your service.
Edit: I'm so sorry, but I had to nope out. Your soul is much stronger than mine!
