You are helping me feed my children with truly delicious recipes that I never thought I could make myself. I do have a very different Spanish rice recipe that I absolutely love but I will definitely be trying yours some time. Thank you again and never stop being you.

If so I cannot believe that someone would have the nerve to criticize your own way of cooking and your time making a video to share your wonderful recipes with us. Boy they really need something else better to do with there time and life...lol..I love chicken and rice and all kinds of different Spanish foods. I watched a video yesterday where she making a Korean dish. The chick had the nerve to tell her she shouldn't be preparing a dish like this bec she wasn't Korean. She should be making mexican food. And something about tending to her toddlers. I'm thinking to myself you have to kidding me. I made a comment on this rude troll. I told her if you don't like the video, don't watch it. Don't be making rude comments on it. It's that simple. Then I said to her, now that wasn't too difficult to do was it.

    FINALLY made this after weeks of looking at this video. Definitely be generous with the seasoning. I held back a little because I’m always afraid of over seasoning my food. But my food came out a little bland. Other than that, the chicken came out so so tender and was falling off the bone! The rice turned out the perfect texture!

    I’m Mexican, however I don’t remember my mom cooking as much, she worked a lot more after my father passed away. I also didn’t have anyone to teach me, being Latina people expect you to know how to. Now that I’m older I cook many types of dishes.... but I don’t know many traditional dishes or how. Love your channel and thank you for sharing! I’ve cooked several of your recipes and I’ve changed a dash or two, but they have been super excellent! 💕👏🏼💕 I’m teaching my daughter to cook.

    This is about the way I do mine. Sometimes soupy, sometimes a bit dryer depends on the mood. It's such a soothing dish. My sons are grown and we all love onions but not my husband. He eats like a kid. I hide things using my ninja blender because he loves to taste of things but not the texture. I'm going to add some big hunks for me & the boys so thanks for the idea. This dish is especially great in my home when you're sick or need some comfort food. I love your videos. Please don't apologize for anything some people are just rediculious with ridicule. I'm sure they wouldn't enjoy people barking opinions at them. Sometimes when I'm feeling lazy I will also watch your videos not because I can't cook well but because you're are motivating! It looks so delicious that I must make some. Thanks for all you do and I hope you are enjoying your new home! Much love and respect one mother to another. ❤ 🏡 🍗🍚🍛🍖🍔🍞🍤🍲🍎🍮🍰🍪🌽🍍💖

    I make arroz con pollo a couple times per month. I've been making it for dinner for my husband for 16 years.
    It wasn't until about two months ago that everything clicked for him. He's British and Irish -- super white. He thought it was called "A Rose Cone Poyo." Something exotic and romantic. Like Romeo and Juliet, I guess.
    I never gave it a second thought. He came home from work in a rushed fluster. "Did you know arroz con pollo just means rice with chicken?!"
    "Uh. Yeah."
    I guess his manager filled him in when I sent him to work with some leftovers...
    He had no idea...
    However, he also orders "chips with con queso cheese" at restaurants and I've never told him he's been asking for "chips with cheese with cheese." 😂

      Hahaa!!! That is too cute!! I am laughing out loud!!! Let him keep on ordering his chips with double cheese, that is too cute!! A rose cone Poyo is just as exotic and romantic as Arroz con Pollo , its a delicious love of affair of flavors.

      When she tells you not to mix the rice more like not to much. Just make sure when you put the arroz in the liquid make sure to just unclamped. After that do not touch the rice!!! If you let it sit on low heat. I have a gas stovetop so I’ll put it on 2 or three depends on how big your burner is. And maybe use less liquid. But it should most definitely come out perfect

    • @paolaloera2381
      @paolaloera2381 5 лет назад +2

      To avoid mushy rice or tapioca like consistency just rinse rice before use. Once the starch is gone you can brown and cook without the mushy issue.. 👌

    • @nathanquigno8063
      @nathanquigno8063 5 лет назад

      Mushy rice can also be because people tend to stir the rice multiple times after you add the liquid and cover it. Stir it once before putting the lid on, for the 22 - 25 mins don't touch it. It won't burn, you might be tempted to take the lid off and stir, but don't do it.

    Gee, the rice looks perfect; not as "soupy" as I expected from your description. Looks very tasty. Enjoyed the video.

    I fixed this tonight for eight people, used two cups of rice. Considering it was more chicken and more rice, it turned out fantastic. The only thing was some of the rice at the bottom was a little hard but nobody mentioned it. My son-in-law said it was great. He had two big helpings. I will do it again.

    It’s sad you have to reiterate all of this because it’s suppose to be soupy that’s how I grew up eating it.. just do what you know, ignore ungrateful people. Thank you posting looks so good!!!

    I like the looks of you rice. Moist rice is tastier than dried out colored rice. Definitely a winner!

    If someone wants it to be less soupy (drier) don't leave out all of that good flavor, just add a little more rice. Good job just couldn't resist adding this comment.

    I have a way i make my arroz con pollo and the way i cook my chicken is completely different.
    I LOVED your way a lot better lol
    I made this today a lot drier and fluffier but it was amazing. The way you cook the chicken locks in the flavor alot more than the way i usually do it.
    Def a game changer for my arroz con pollo!
    Thanks.

      Teresa Ronga Use less liquid. For example less crushed tomatoes and less tomato sauce.

    My son did not like onion either. After a few nights sitting in his high chair watching us eat dinner (not consecutively!) from his far-away perch just outside the kitchen door, he decided he liked it. He grew up loving onion. We must teach our children to eat foods, not avoid them.
