What you said about Statins, Doc. I was on them ( hereditary high LDL ), lowish dose but they wanted me to take more. At the same time they tell me I'm pre-diabetic! I thought I was supposed to get blood sugar down, but statins do the opposite. I stopped taking them without consulting, but when I told my GP she checked. Seems that without them my risk of some vascular issue was 8%. With them it was 5%. Well, 3% seems like a low number to me. No more statins here.
I'm a recovering high function alcoholic. Dry for two years. 71 this week, no jab. I found this channel when I was seeking info on trying to save my liver. Have lost over 20kg ( about 45 pounds to you lot ) which alone has changed my life, got rid of my chronic knee pain.

I feel like I'm on cloud 9 every day now and its just because my mind is clear. All THANKS to Dr. Eric Berg.🎉 And I havent even started the keto diet (yet). Slowly swapping keto meals for normal meals and observing the difference in energy levels. Carbs make me drowsy/fall asleep/hungrier, MEAT keeps me on an even keel and full for half the day.

(wanted to boost my testosterone naturally) After about 1 year of taking D3 I started to get arrhythmia, high blood pressure, muscle weakness, panic attacks etc. Doctors kept sending me to see a psychiatrist. I refused and thanks to Google, found out that I show symptoms of Magnesium deficiency. It was then when I found out a link between D3-K2-Magnesium. The thing is, Magnesium is also D3's co-factor and important as much as K2. The best Mg to replenish your body are both Citrate and Glycinate versions. Take care and thank you for your hard work!

As an African American, I take a daily dose of 40,000 IU of vitamin D3 along with 400 mg of K2. This is essential because individuals of color often have lower levels of vitamin D due to factors like increased melanin in the skin, which reduces vitamin D synthesis from sunlight. Supplementing with vitamin D is crucial for maintaining overall health, supporting immune function, and preventing deficiencies that can lead to various health issues.

Prohormone 25(oh)D (what they measure in your blood) =3week half-life active hormone 1-25 (oh) D=2hour half life.
Intact vitamin D can be taken through the entire activation process 25(oh)D (prohormone) in many tissues throughout the body (immune system/cells, not just the liver. It is actually easier for the intact vitamin-D to get into the immune cells because of how tightly 25(oh)D is bound to the vitamin-D binding protein.
If your25(oh) D(prohormone) levels are low, the bodies first priority (skeletal system) is to get them up to (40ng to 60ng) and will rapidly start using most of the intact vitamin-D to do this. Which leaves little intact vitamin-D to fully support the immune system.
This is why it is important to have both optimal 25(oh)D/prohormone levels(60ng - 100ng), and also to have good daily circulating intact vitamin-D levels, this is also probably why doing the vitamin-D hammer is effective when you are sick, you are getting lots of intact vitamin - D into your system/cells.
This is also the reason why you want to take it daily and not weekly or monthly because intact vitamin - D only has a 24 hour half life.
Also magnesium is a huge co-factor for vitamin-D, it is needed to take vitamin - D through the activation process. So green veggies or supplements.
      1) maintain 25(oh)D levels above 60ng/ml, safe range 60ng/ml to 100ng/ml.
2)take daily to have circulating intact vitamin-D.
      3) daily magnesium in your diet, green veggies or supplements.

As a fellow health RUclipsr, I appreciate the insights shared in your video. It's crucial to address the misconceptions surrounding vitamin D, especially given its vital role in our health.
I’d like to add that while vitamin D is indeed essential for numerous bodily functions, including immune response and bone health, it's important to consider individual variability in vitamin D metabolism. Factors such as genetics, age, body weight, and existing health conditions can significantly influence how our bodies process and utilize vitamin D.
Additionally, I encourage viewers to consult with healthcare professionals before making any significant changes to their vitamin D intake, especially if they are considering high doses for therapeutic purposes. Regular blood tests can help monitor levels and ensure safety.
Thank you for shedding light on this important topic! Your video is a valuable resource for anyone looking to navigate the complexities of vitamin D supplementation. Keep up the great work!

I was so deficient in vitamin D from years of taking Synthroid and my bones are not strong. My thyroid was removed. I had severe pain in my left hip when I take vitamin D. I periodically take magnesium and potassium along with the vitamin D. My bones were trying to remineralize and darn it, it was extremely painful. So I take the vitamin D once a week to limit that pain. Each week the pain diminishes more and more on week 4. I am weightlifting to minimize the effects of the Synthroid. So I started taking 5kiu and I've felt just fine with that. Everyone will have their own reasons for adjusting D3 and other forms. But I advise not to overdo it. Just adjust the amount to the amount you need. You won't need a doctor to tell you anything if you just adjust your own dosage to your personal well-being! Best to all!

A year later it was lesser than before. I increased my dose and was took 20k units 3 or 4times a week for 2 months, level went up to 44. Now I’m taking 5k units as maintenance. And I’m free of infections, cold and cough for 10months straight first time in my life. Also need to give credit for zinc and magnesium.
