- Im curious on how FFXV looks on latest gen consoles,PS5 and Xbox Series X so i did a quick comparison of my own. All recorded videos are in 4k 60fps.
Xbox Series X:

Quick impression:
-to my untrained non-videophile eyes, XBOX Series X version seems a bit cleaner.
-however, Xbox Share function is incovenient as 4k 60 fps recorded clips cannot be shared and uploaded directly from the console and have to be done using laptop/computer. Ps Share is much more convient as clips can be edited and shared directly from the console. This is not related to visual but can be important for those who do video sharing.

70% different.
Combat is pretty hectic. Hard to get into. Also the story is hard to understand without watching the anime and the movie.
I played every 3D main Final Fantasy game, XV is my favorite by far. I never understood why people hated it. Ardyn is the most tragic character I ever saw in a game.
@@ddk9529 a departure from ff many people are use to, and story is ridiculous spanning across a movie, anime and a game. Combat was incredibly simplified, your summons are almost nonexistent. Dlc was not finished and scrapped Lunafreya was a complete waste. I personally wanted more then just a boy band as a party.
It was literally an unfinished project.
3 things i only remember of the game :
1) the demo
2) luna's death scene
3) battle with leviathan
everything else was so-so and unmemorable sadly . . i was so hyped forever and bought it first day . looking back it def felt lacking in many ways
What setting is 4k 60? I thought quality was 4k 30 and lite lowers resolution to provide 60hz refresh
I love the combat battle and the graphics is looking very fascinating.
How’s the frame rate in light mode during combat ? Does it dip a lot or pretty stable 60 FPS ?
Lite mode offers the best fps so if u want to prioritize fps,always use lite. The higher fps also makes the combat feel a bit faster,and yes,its relative stable fps on ps5

@@Quay2Quiet ur tv / display device can affect the quality of the recording video and i cant speak for everyone as people use different display device, im just gonna give u mine:
In-game option setting:
Performance: Lite
HDR: ON
TV:
-Samsung QLED Q70R 2019 model
-Game Mode: ON
Also make sure to do a HDR calibration that the PS5 has in the setting and just follow the instruction prompt.
PS5 capture option:
Use the manual Start recording and Stop recording command (dont use the capture the last xx minute option)
I love FFXVI & FF7R
But the combat system here had a lot of potential if they improved upon it. like it was kinda mid... but it also could've been great if they spend another year tweaking and redesigning it.
What version you use the most
XV is my favorite game of all time and I have been gaming since the 80s, can you tell me if those challenges are still up to play? are the XV servers still up?
By "servers", im assuming u r asking about multiplayer server? Yes,u can still play FFXV comrades, just go onto ffxv discord and u will find ppl to play comrades with. I strictly play ffxv the main game though,as there are enough fun contents for me in the main game
Wow Zac that's impressive that you like this game over the classics. My fav is ff8 but I'm addicted to this game as of now. About 300 hours in lol.

This game could have been so insane if they changed a few things. Magic system for one is really terrible which is sad 'cause the magics do look really cool and when you use them it feels awesome but I hated crafting them so I barely used it, combined with the fact that there is not enough magic variety anyways.
Then there's also the issue of the party system. I'm totally cool with controlling a single character but the fights felt so clunky because Noctis was never allowed to die or it would be game over but you could never die 'cause there's a period where you have time to just use a weak potion and you could do that until you run out of them, making it near impossible to actually die. And actually using your party members was just so slow for a game that tried to be quick paced with how Noctis fought.
Seriously just a better magic system and better party system and make Noctis his fighting a little more smooth and this combat would have been God tier.
The graphics in this game are beautiful
literally the worst thing abput the game bc graphics are way better than gta 5 just like the whole game play this game is created not to play but to live i had dreams where i was in the universe as noct warped around in 1st person loved my life how it is went under water just to find tthe secret kings weapon that is big about 15 m and one shots fiction made way better gameplay in my dreams made alternate gamemode where u can go to places no one went just like u aswell u had alot dreams about games u just forgot all of them or 99percent so gg i guess@?

how did you arrive at that kind of level cap?
The EXP cap u mean? Just go around and kill things i guess,and since I play at level 1,i dont really need EXP to tally up.
@@gaubeoo hehe thanks..took me awhile to figure out that you didnt let the level go beyond one coz you didnt let the exp tally up. did you use the nixperience accessory ?
@@GamerNurseGale Before resting at an inn or camp site,have any party member equip the nixperience band to prevent exp to tally up,letting u permanently stay at level 1. The reason being is that enemy level doesnt scale with ur level and the unlimited use of recovry items can gimp the overall combat exp. There is no incentive to explore and learn combat mechanics if game is set too easy. Once u done with your normal level playthrough,if u want to make the combat a bit more interesting and challenge,give Level 1 + no item run a try, this post sums it up:

how to make 60 fps on ps5? Just when playing, there is no such smoothness
Go to Option setting,under Performance,use Lite mode, 60fps makes the game looks much cleaner

How is your HP and your party members HP constantly regenerating?
Have Gladio equip Megaphone accessory to have party HP regen

Newer game as in FFXVI? That i can agree, 15 combat has more variety than that of 16

I’m playing this game now and I hate the combat. Both console style or pc, I’m always hella disoriented and somehow wind up with my camera in a bush while I can’t see Noctis getting blasted by whoever. Then when I try to dodge or run out I’m just stuck in a loop of taking dmg. I really want to love this game, but the combat is killing me.
Just play ffrebirth if you haven’t or ff16

@@Slippypippy270 I put almost 20 hrs into it. I have max stats and Henry is still a tard with a sword. It's not a bad game but it is brainless.
