Hope this helps as it is just a quick and easy video. However it should be noted that this is a very common solution anytime someone runs a truck out of fuel, lets air into the system by the bowl being empty, ETC. So the main objective as with all my videos #1 informative and to the point and #2 help you save money!

I appreciate that because we just had a road service mechanic come here and change our fuel water separator and now it's a hard start! I'm also going to check for bubbles in the tank for these injector cups which are inotorious!

Hey question, my truck is taking forever to start (d13) and it stays misfiring. I got some bubbles in the tank. But her i open the the priming pump it came lose. Do you think its soaking air ? Or my problem is injectors and cups?

Thanks for making this videos they help owner operators to save money! I had starting problems with my volvo d13 and I did alot of work on it to try to fix it. Changed the fuel pressure valve, valve on the davco fuel filter, fuel pressure sensor nothing helped. Then I thought I have a cracked fuel line so I put air in my fuel tanks to create a pressure and see if it would leak anywhere (and there was no leaks). The last think I thought it would be injectors because I changed them 60k miles a go. So decided to change the injectors again and that was the problem. Change those valves and sensor first because they are pretty cheap and and you can do it by your self. I mind upload video how I did it. I hope this will help someone. Have a great day!

Hey bud I have a d13 Volvo 2017 and whenever I’m on a hill it vibrates and loses power and I just change the fuel filter housing but it still does it! Can you tell me what that might be?? Thank you

Important details...to make it easier to reach, I placed a bucket upside down just inside the fender and stood on it. I used the end piece of an aluminum crutch (with a rubber tip) to make it easier. I had to push on the thing for about 5 minutes...then felt is stop moving...then got it started. Push down and to the left to release the spring...to close...wear a glove for tight grip...press down firmly...turn to the right...not locked until you fill it slip just a bit more to the right.
