Thank you very much for this video! I just watched it and followed your instructions. My tank re-set and I now have hot water again. Your video was invaluable, as I first thought that I would have to wait out the weekend and call in a professional. As a woman, I think it is a bonus that you are a woman showing us that women can do these tasks too!

    This was amazingly simple !
I’ve always had gas heaters so I didn’t know much about electric and my hot water stopped coming out plus the previous owner didn’t leave me a manual.
This was such a quick fix.
The only thing I would add is that you might have to wait up to an hour before the hot water kicks in depending on how many gallon tank you have
    Great video

I was honestly so skeptical that this would work for us, considering that we have had multiple issues with our water heater, and we had literally just had it repaired today, and it finally went out again just a couple hours ago. So happy this worked so I can finally take a hot shower before work

We are glad you could finally get a hot shower! Did you get in touch with the person that repaired it and let them know there was another issue? How old is this heater?
