  • Follow along with me in this 40-min total body conditioning workout that focuses on ground movement, locomotion, mobility, and core training.
    The workout starts with a mobility warm-up and goes on to 2 rounds of primary series (6 movement patterns). This workout emphasizes mobility and core work - it's sneaky hard and it will get you sweating. It's great for all levels from beginners to advanced.

    I am a 68 year old grandma and I love this! Thank you! I will some day move past the warmups but, for now, this is a great transition from my yoga practice.

    I wish more people would take notice of this kind of practices, when we do this enough it sticks with us and it's really applicable in day to day life.
    Allowing myself to dive in to your style of movement consistently has literally transformed my body and approach to training.
    Thanks coach 🙂

    I love yoga and i love this. Still under rehab but the universe is 'getting kinder' by allowing me to re-build things that have been either lost or have remained just dormant, albeit oh so slowly. More power to you Coach 🙏💪😀👏

    Finally!!! An instruction on how to keep my lower back flat during things like the hollow body extensions. I was able to extend my legs out like you with my lower back pressing against the floor for the first time ever! Hugging thighs into chest while keeping heels tucked in as well, I was able to feel what muscles to engage to do the extensions. This is something I’ve struggled with for a long time. Thank you

    Your "love yoga" line in the title got me! I DO love yoga but have recently begun doing some MovNat stuff. Your video is really a lot of fun and your love of this type of movement shows. The pace feels crazy fast at times for me because I don't have the control yet, but it is something to work towards. I love the longish length of this workout. 45 minutes of this and I'm proper destroyed, just as I'd hoped. I am a 40 year old mom of 3, so the specific ab/core stuff is contraindicated for my current situation, but the whole body/body weight/no equipment style here is really fun and accessible.

    I that your videos intuitively return me to natural movement. It naturally feels like movements we knew early in life but forgot through all the other aspects of modern life. Grazie infinite

    • @StrengthFlowFitness
      @StrengthFlowFitness  2 года назад

      Exactly! For me, that's what this is all about - a return to intuitive movement when so much of fitness & exercise is robotic.

    Thank you for this video. I appreciate it the length and I thought that the combination of exercises was great. For me, as a beginner, I really needed more guidance and needed verbal cues for every shift and change in your movements. While my head was turned away, busy doing the exercises, I would suddenly noticed that you were onto the next thing or just something else. Keep going and keep refining, it's easy to feel your enthusiasm.

      Thanks for watching. I didn't create the piece but the "meaning" of anything is what you assign to it based on the feelings that it stirs within. This is how I approach movement. When stuck, take a break and try some 🍄

    this is great! it would be even better if you could be more descriptive about the movements, especially what you do between the primary moves. its sometimes difficult to do the movement, keep count, and watch the screen at the same time. during breaks, if you're not saying anything, i assume there's nothing to be done. but when i look at the screen, you're doing something! it would be awesome if you could talk us through every movement you're doing. thank you, looking forward to more follow alongs!

      I don't do bjj...just not enough hours in the day. That's the cool thing though about primal movement training though - there's so much crossover into more specialized disciplines. Learn the language of movement and so many doors open up. Best wishes to you in your practice!✌🏽

      Push ups should be performed with proper scapular stability and glide through retraction and protraction without elevating. My quick advice to viewers is to do the type of push up that works best for you. Also check out this post, it might be helpful - instagram.com/p/BwARsoKhIez/
