This video shares a 30-minute lower body flexibility routine to help you get moving and increase essential ranges of motion. It focuses on improving hip mobility through rotation, stretching the glutes and improving squats. Then lengthen the hamstrings and hip flexors dynamically through your entire range of motion.

I have been following your channel for about two months, and I am pleased and pleasantly surprised with my much improved flexibility. I've been a loyal yogie for several years and thought i would explore additional avenues for help with my hamstrings. As I completed this dynamic stretch routine and had to smile when video ended and I was still standing so to speak. I'm 68 years old and nearly able to complete a split which is amazing. Hi Tom! Thank you for what you do! You are my go-to for streching and flexibility on RUclips. I have tight/ weak quads due to too many knee injuries and I would love it if you could do a new video to target quads specifically. No need to be concerned with any limitations. And P.S. I have had VivoBarefoot shoes for a few years now and they are by far my favorite type of shoes
I‘m waaaay too tight for a front split but it felt so good to stretch out my hips and legs! Very nice routine!

Gonna do this tomorrow, keep them coming my friend, love it. And personally I wouldn't mind some that are focused towards the hamstring, glutes, loweback area and how those are all connected.

Question: is this suitable as a daily routine or would it be best to do at some type of interval?
In a previous video you said for optimal results, light stretching everyday to keep the body greased and 1-3 heavier stretch sessions. Is this routine a daily type routine?
@@classyjoes this is a touch in between. Less sets to make it lighter or more sets to make it a heavier session

Hi very good always watch your videos and wish to do the same but to my age factor that I am 61 years old and had a 40 years experience in basketball and cricket would you please suggest me how should I start these worthy exercises thanks
It's funny. My flexibility is absolutely terrible but some of the things Tom emphasizes as though it's challenging are things I can do effortlessly. That internal rotation of the hip exercise is just stupidly easy. I lift the foot quite a lot higher than in the video with no pain or cramping in sight.
And then sometimes Tom says things like "don't worry if you can't get into the squat position fully" yet I can do this without any difficulty at all, while finding a forward fold very challenging and anything remotely like a pancake fold virtually impossible.
