Just fantabulous, Bob. Indeed as somebody here commented I think you would make Jim proud. I thank God for your resonant, confident and beautiful voice, and your agile guitar picking and strumming. I enroll in your school starting in August! (: Have been blessed to visit Boulder when I was a young man and recall somewhere in my memory its beauty. Came to love in college the music of The Samples who even came down to Washington DC--they are from your parts! "Feel us Shaking" is a stirring song. And their tune about Africa too..If you get curious or have the time I also did a rendition of I Got A Name by the Candle in The Wind Jim Croce. You can check out the version with more views. But you inspire me to go back to the drawing boards and do a new and improved version. We have a Guitar Club at my high school down here in Homestead, Florida. I am the co sponsor and I am sure our members would love your playing! By the way, Neil.Young,, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Gordon Lighttfoot, Simon and Garfunkel, Cat Stevens, the Beatles, Bob Seger, and the Eagles are some of my favorite acoustic guitar inspirations. Had a great guitar teacher who also sang from Exeter, New Hampshire, named Eric Sinclair. I will add John Michael Talbott for beautiful Catholic songs accompanied by amazing guitar work. But you are playing and singing like these guys. May God bless you and yours!
Very nice Croce cover... Strong acoustic and vocals! I just tried this cover myself... Hard to believe I was 24 years old when the song was released. Take care ...Steve
Bob! I am the "old guy." See Josh's tour comment. I live in Castle Rock, CO. My neurological whoopsie limits my safe travels. Wishing super success on all of your venues in this great state. Colorado had some serious talent 50 years ago. Heck, some of those folks are famous, in the hall of fame, live more-than comfortably, maybe more that the Canyon people. Perhaps not... Denver is a much different market now. The "ritzies" want Red Rocks talent. I don't know how to break into this market. It is controlled by old #uckers like me. They have the $, but not the fans, in their sites. I bet Chuck E could write a perfect tune, may he rest in peace.
My nose ALWAYS starts to feel itchy halfway through the song, so congratulations on not abandoning the take for it lol. Also, absolutely fantastic cover as always.
