Loved the facial expressions on the last lines...you could literally see the point you realized that Elvis is the greatest and that no one will ever convince you otherwise 😁 a similar masterpiece is "Tomorrow Never Comes" audio only...starts low and gradually builds...Elvis was going through his divorce at this time Jan 73...so that song was pretty much his own story at that point 😔

It's Midnight is another one I love! I haven't seen a video live but it does have pictures of he and Pricilla. It was recorded at a live performance and Pricilla was present and he was wanting to work things out. But in the song you can hear him say"listen Cilla", before the verse and it's midnight and I miss you! The ending of the song is really powerful too because his voice sounds like he's crying and keeps repeating Lord I miss you! I think you'll find it on the jungle sessions, he sings a powerful"Hurt And it's Midnight! They were recorded at The studio at Graceland.

But what is more important about Elvis Presley is not his vocal range, nor how high, or low it extends, but where its center of gravity is. This song came out in 1961 originally in French, Shirley Bassey had a hit with it, then Sonny & Cher. There’s a home recording of Elvis in the mid 60s singing this with Charlie Hodge, by 1972 Elvis would perform this in Vegas. Elvis’ version via Aloha shows you the power & versatility of his God given gift of a voice. There’s a 1974 version that he takes the final note up even higher & stronger. Elvis’ version is considered the hardest vocally to perform. Elvis was the Greatest Vocalist Ever! Long Live The King!

Dani. As an "old person," I grew up with Elvis. I was in High School, when Elvis "came onto the scene." When I was in USAF Basic Training, 1957, we had a guy who was also from Tupelo, Miss., Elvis' home town. This young 17 year old Airman could "do the moves of Elvis!" I mean, to "A T." ,The first song my friend did was "One for the Money, two for the show, three to get ready, and go cat go.! :) He sang and danced just like Elvis - we were totally impressed. Great memories for me, just a kid out of Newark, Ohio. I love your videos. Thanks. Note: If you lived during Elvis' time, I think he'd find you and realize that YOU were the one and only for him. He'd know.

At the end, Elvis still sang with the backing singers, not letting go or taking a break, because people wouldn't notice! 100% Elvis

Try "It's over" from the same concert. Try " How Great Thou Art" from his last concert in June of 1977. Talk about dramatic then powerful. Wow. Great reaction. I couldn't agree with you more.

My favorite of his gospel! I play that one at least every other day! It just makes me feel so good because of the heart he puts into it! I didn't care much for gospel music until I heard Elvis sing it, I downloaded one of his gospel albums and love his voice singing them! If anyone ever doubted his love of God they are nuts, you can't fake the feelings he has singing it!

The maturation and changing of his voice is a fascinating journey all
    on it's own.
You have to listen to his very beginnings to the end of his life. It was great
    throughout. Unique talent.

The Aloha from Hawaii concert gave Elvis the chance to declare his feelings for Priscilla on a global stage. 4 songs in particular shows how he feels about her. What now my Love, It's over, You gave me a mountain, and I'll remember you

When Elvis sings " no one care/no one would cry/ if I should live or die", one can see again that he was drawn throughout his career to sing songs that explore the fallen nature of humanity dating back to the Garden of Eden. The flipside of these songs were his gospel songs which he often sang of humanity in need of the Saviour Jesus Christ. Illustration: "Where No One Stands Alone."

I believe this was a French ballad song. Sung by many artists. Elvis's rendition was the best I ever heard. He arranged it and made it his own in this performance. So powerful his voice and presence. So glad you found it and listened. Elvis was more than a popular singer. He was an experience.
Broke my heart when he died. Take care Dani.
