I've always said that both Hawaii shows had many songs that were worthy of being one-take masters. Elvis and the band were so in-sync. They could be so subtle one second and explode the next with the power of the full band, orchestra, and background singers

He puts his whole heart and soul into his singing. We lost a great talent when he passed. It's great to see the younger generation realizing this and see what you can do without all the pyro, etc.
Elvis was the best there ever was or ever will be. No one has replaced him , he is the king for a reason. thank you . Please react to You Gave Me A Mountain live in Honolulu 1973
His stage presence, his singing style, his great voice, his beautiful spirit, his performance talent, his great looks, his awesome dancing, all contributed to make his performances outstanding and a pleasure to watch him and enjoy his presentations. He truly was very special. I used to love listening to his ballad songs when I was 10-12 years old (and later too).
What people rarely think about is that Elvis was not only a singer, but he was actually an excellent producer. The whole setup with the three-male-three-female backup singers, the background choir combined with the band is all Elvis's own setup and expression of these songs.

I was not even an Elvis fan, I liked some of his music but went to see him as a favor to a friend…small kindnesses sometimes lead to great things. I will always be indebted to that friend!!!
Ironic lyrics huh? First time I saw Elvis I was young and at the movies "Viva Las Vegas", not only did I melt when I saw how beautiful he was, I was taken by his voice. His passing may be one of the greatest musical losses of my time. Every song is stunning, soulful and oh yeah let's not forget Jailhouse Rock!
I'm a second generation Elvis fan and unfortunately, he passed before my time but the fact that his loss hits me on a profound level is a testament to his greatness. I think the way people celebrated the movie and Elvis around the world 45 years after he died should be the answer to anyone who questions Elvis or his greatness because not many artists can impact multiple generations.
Spectacular performance by Elvis, as usual. I have not seen a live performance from him that I didn't want to see again. JUST PRETEND is another you need to see, my friend. At least 25 times 😁✌🏼
If you get the chance you should watch “Elvis, that’s the way it is” it’s a docu-film about the rehearsal and the actual show from 1970 Vegas show. You’ll get to see Elvis’ sense of humour and how much he loved performing.
I saw him during one of his last concerts. Even bloated and unwell, his voice was marvelous but it was his charm and ability to connect with individuals in the audience that I remember most.
I believe all the famous ballads / songs that he chooses to sing reflect his personal life, the joy, the heartbreak, the agony, the acceptance come from his very soul. I read somewhere that Pavarotti loved to hear Elvis sing, thought his voice was immeasurable in tone, strength, quality , and his command, his ability to effortlessly change his voice to low ,to high was exceptional . Elvis could sing all genres, if he had operatic voice training he could have been the world's best opera singer. Not sure if this was correct but just imagine .
It's good to see somebody as young as you appreciate a spectacular entertainer as Elvis Presley I grew up with him listening to his music and watching his movies and I just can't get enough of listening to him you take care and God bless
Love your reaction. His talent never grows old. Years, decades after this concert and his passing and his music continues to be appreciated and discovered by many. His voice was pure, strong and real. Hope he knows how much he is loved and appreciated by his fans. Best we can do is continue to introduce his music new listeners and keep his legacy strong. RIP Elvis. ❤
I would love for you to play "Jailhouse Rock". It is phenomenol and you can get a good look at YOUNG ELVIS! I love it! He has some fantastic dance moves! Thanks for your wonderful reaction! He could have been an Opera singer! This song is a Masterpiece! How GREAT is he? He can sing everything, and sing it well! Thanks again!
Thanks for sharing! Chills, Chills Chills. He connected with eternity while in physical form.. Which means every time I hear him do this song, time stops! it's like hearing it for the first time every time.. Now i know what people mean when they saw him live, and say it was like he was singing directly just to them, yet there were 20 or 30 thousand in the arena. Wow
Do y'all, like myself , when watching an always spectacular performance by Elvis, just stop and find yourself thinking "damn, I still can't believe he's gone! What a huge, unfair loss!" I was lucky enough to see him in 1976 when I was 11. It had a huge impact on me, and I've loved music in general -- especially great singers, ever since. And after all these years, and so many concerts, I've still not heard a singer with a better set of pipes than Elvis Presley. I ended up seeing a lot of concerts of various singers that I became a fan of -- including Roy Orbison. He had a simply jaw-dropping, amazing voice. A voice with a greater range, but Elvis had more... Elvis. Lol... I saw Sinatra three times -- even in his later years with a voice getting a little rough with age, he always put on a great concert. And similar to Elvis, he beamed an electrical charisma out into the crowd. It's also such a bummer that he's gone. So many of the greats are gone, and that saddens me. I also saw Ray Charles, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ella Fitzgerald, Diane Schuur (3 ½ octave vocal range!), Mel Tormé, and Johnny Cash to name a few. I also saw "Elvis: The Concert" three times, once in Memphis after visiting Graceland. I also saw a few rock bands like The Who, The Police, Van Halen, and The Beach Boys (three times!). I saw R.E.M. in a very small venue (just a few hundred people) right before they hit the national big time. "Everybody Hurts," which came later on, is such a beautiful, moving song. I wish Elvis lived to record that song. They were all great, but again, I've never experienced anything more spectacular than Elvis Presley in concert. Now? In addition to being a fan of his talents, I've grown fond and sympathetic of Elvis the human being -- everything I've ever learned about him tells me he was a truly kind, decent and generous person. Not without his faults of course, we humans all have them. But a truly good soul. (Sorry for the length...) (Oh, and btw, thank you for the great reaction video!)
There are so many great songs on the '68 Comeback Special. I especially love the ones done with just his band and him in the middle of the crowd. Definitely give Tryin' to Get to You a watch.
Many of Elvis' non- rock and roll songs that he did, especially in concerts , start out slow and gradually builds to a crescendo where just before the end of the song Elvis hits it out of the ballpark with an incredible high note that's almost operatic. He sure did have the pipes to hit those high notes.
No cheesy choreography, no auto tune or miming designed to cover the fact the act cant sing, just real talent, real musicians playing live. You don't get this premium level anymore. Music today has deteriorated to a joke and the idiots making the hacks of today rich are the problem. Great reaction, thanks for realising what real talent was.

Thank you for all your wonderful Elvis reactions❤ Elvis had an aura that was larger than anybody else's. You can have a wonderful voice, a lot of talent, and the best looks, and yet, if you don`t have the inner soulful richness and an enormous amount of love for others, you won`t mean a thing after some years. If you can`t reach people on a soul level, all your talent doesn`t mean a thing. Elvis was far more unique and talented than experts have ever given him credit for. He was so much more than just a good-looking and talented entertainer with a sex appeal that could knock you down from afar. To all true Elvis fans, he is a higher being in disguise. He came from poverty, achieved the impossible, and used his popularity to make this world a better place. By being a role model, he showed his fans how to become a better human being. He wasn`t perfect but that brought him nearer to those who loved him. Many people changed for the better because they admired his kindness, humility, compassion, and generosity, and they wanted to be at least a bit like him. How many celebrities do we know who can be compared to him? Keanu Reeves comes to mind. He is the closest whom I can think of. But nobody can be compared to Elvis. Not really. I`ve never heard anybody say "In my younger years, I WAS an Elvis fan." Once an Elvis fan, always an Elvis fan. You fall IN love with him, and you never fall OUT! You may travel to and explore other musical roams and may even love it, but you`ll always return to Elvis. Simply because "Elvis" is another word for "Coming Home and Feeling At Home".❤

The vibrato.. the cadence.. the breath control… the power… the three octave range… Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, will ever hold a candle to Elvis. He was one of a kind, and one of the most unique individuals that God ever created. fantastic song the way Elvis starts off slow and slowly builds it up to a big finish, he also drags you into the song and the performance and Emotion about this poor guy who has lost the love of his life and his world is falling apart 😪 l have been there a few times in my life, great song great performance by Elvis
The vibrato.. the cadence.. the breath control… the power… the three octave range…
Nobody, and I mean NOBODY, will ever hold a candle to Elvis. He was one of a kind, and one of the most unique individuals that God ever created.
It’s been said that a star that burns twice as bright burns half as long…
His star burned brighter than a trillion suns, and his light will still be shining long after you and I are gone.
Long live the King! ✨
He is spectacular! No one can argue.
Thanks for this poignant reaction. Elvis was like a prince from another planet, and hit us all like a fire comet.💖💥⚡️
You will not be disappointed
Thad song is soooo good fantastic adorable 😍😍😍😍😍
… Elvis was the first and the best! ... A millennium singer for eternity ... I've never heard a better male voice than Elvis's...amazingly good !! … His performance in Hawaii in 1973 via satellite was the biggest event in music history of the last century! ✨💎✨🕺🏻🕯 Thank you
Goosebumps.... just goosebumps!!!! Elvis is one of a kind...
Watching you watching and listening to Elvis was very telling. It’s like an electric current went through you as the crescendo built and Elvis sang out, barely drawing breath for 20 seconds!!! Chills all round and huge appreciation of that phenomenal performance. Thank you and more like that please👌💕🕺
No other singer can match that voice. The greatest ever. The master. Please consider reacting to The impossible Dream and Hurt . Never fall in love again. By Elvis. Thank you.
Thank you, great reaction
Elvis muss auch nix tun, allein seine Präsenz lässt die Luft vibrieren. Und dann seine gewaltige Stimme, man glaubt gleich kommt die totale Explosion. Wahnsinn diese unglaubliche Anziehungskraft 😘💖
