So cool that u lived thru that era. I grew up in the late 70's into the 80's. Today's generations of music fans, technology sure it's helped, but it takes away the personal experience of seeking out your favorite artists like back then. You heard it on the radio, then you HAD to go to a store, purchase the single, then the album, listen, enjoy, then wait for the next one. If you were lucky, you got to see them live. Today you click a button and get it. Not the same.

He was the great UNIFIER! Not a racist bone in his body. He loved God, Family/friends and the people in that order, and refused to change for the Illuminated ones who rule todays music industry. I believe that's why Elvis, Tupac and Marley died very young because they refused to be controlled.

The most famous man on the planet when I grew up. There isn't a bad Elvis song and there are many hundreds more to react to yet. My favourites change every time I hear one and so will yours. Hope all is well with you too.

Elvis was the king. They tore him down, made fun of him, made fun of his suits. He didn’t look grubby and funky which they tried to make the trend. Elvis did his own thing so they made fun of his jump suits and his look. Because none of them could compete with his talent. When people are jealous the only thing they can do is collectively make fun of him because he didn’t dress grungy and dirty stringy hair. Most of them couldnt compete with his looks so they collectively made fun of him to sell their own junk. Snd that the way they tried to sway the public. Elvis was out of style. But…. Elvis did his own thing and blocked them out and never criticized them. Instead he invited some of them in Vegas to meet him. Now they come on tv snd brag that they met him. Guess what? No of them had the career Elvis had

Elvis's jumpsuit had an American eagle on it
This concert was the first satellite concert that was beamed all around the world
Elvis wanted something to represent his country
So that's why he has the American eagle on his jumpsuit
    Elvis loved America
If you want to hear another song where Elvis has a powerful voice
    Can you please react to
    Hurt 1977
His voice will blow you away
    So strong and powerful
    He might not look well
It was 6 weeks before his death
But when Elvis started to sing
You forget that he looks sick
    Elvis to the very end
His incredible voice never failed him
    Elvis truly was the king
A name he didn't liked to be called
He considered Jesus Christ as the only King
Elvis was so humbled even though he was the biggest entertainer in the world
Elvis never realised how big he really was and how much he was loved
After 46 years people are still listening to him
He seems to get more popular as time goes on
    Elvis will never die
    His fans will make sure
    Elvis will live forever
    There is something about Elvis
    He makes you feel loved
Even though you never have met him
There's something about his voice that draws you in
    Anyway mate
Thank you for another amazing reaction and keeping Elvis alive

It’s so good to see new people finding out for themselves the wonders of Elvis , still loved and appreciated 46 years after his death. Listen to one of Elvis’s personal favourites, “ It’s now or never”, also “Unchained melody”, “You’ll never walk alone”, “Proud Mary” he recorded over 700 songs in many genres so you’ve quite the journey ahead of you. 🙏👌💕🕺

BRO, This is a clue to ELVIS' incredible vocal ability!
Music critics have said that he was capable of singing any genre of music, including opera and Broadway musicals.
In 1976 he sang his new release, "Hurt", live in concert, which is a significant demonstration of his vocal range and capability.
Also back in the '60s, he released "It's Now Or Never", a melody taken from "O Sole Mio", an Italian aria.
Back to 1976, in concert ELVIS asked his tenor to sing the Italian opener as a prelude to his "It's Now Or Never". This is a MUST LISTEN!
From your fan from the State of Minnesota, U.S.A., THANK YOU!

  • @clboelcke
    @clboelcke 9 месяцев назад +20

Elvis’s voice encompasses every genre of music-he was/is the King of music!!
He sang blues, rock, country, ballads, opera….he did not limit himself to one style.
Imitation is the best form of flattery--that’s what Elvis thought. Elvis impersonators started when he was on the Milton Berle show and he had a kid on “doing Elvis” while Elvis was a guest on the show. I think the impersonators themselves became jokes because no one can truly be like Elvis-and some of them were just terrible and that became how Elvis was then thought of-unless you were a real fan and knew the real deal.

Amen to what you say, people look at me funny, my left leg and foot is much shorter and smaller than the right leg, I have a lift and my right side is very endowed so I get stares but it's OK they don't know me. This is the rehearsal concert of Aloha from Hawaii January 12 1973 as also the real concert by satellite January 14th 1973. I have seen him six times in concert and had one personal meeting which was in Dallas June 6 1975 and believe me these were the best moments in my life. When I met him in Dallas I said to him "Mister the King" and he replied "Young man, I'm not the King only Jesus Christ is the King" on which only can be replied with AMEN, but that was the first time I heard the name Jesus and maybe it was the start to become christian. I have seen many other rock stars performing like the Stones, Tina Turner, Roy Orbison, and so on but they can not compete with Elvis, Elvis is a higher level. A dictionary does not have enough words to describe how much I miss Elvis Presley. He was, is and will always be my inspiration and fascination, every day I play Elvis music, if not my days sucks.

I agree, it would be awesome to see Elvis still around another decade touring. Can you imagine the music that came out in the early 80s that he would’ve got a hold of and just smoked it! Thanks for sharing this video performance and your reaction 🤘👍👍👍

ELVIS just got better & better & better. That outfit is called the RED WHITE & BLUE AMERICAN EAGLE. It's the first outfit I ever saw him in (via satelitte on his Aloha special) last time I went to Graceland in December 2022 I got to visit his Auto & Costume exhibits. I made a beeline to that outfit and got my picture taken with it. I didnt ever get to stand next to Elvis but I stood right next to the first outfit I saw him in . . . Smiling from ear to ear of course!

This was the first show blasted out to the world via satellite, broadcast live and watched by over a billion people around the world at the same time. Elvis' costume designer (Bill Belew) asked Elvis if he wanted something special for this show. Elvis told him yes, and said 'I just want it to proudly say 'America'', so that's why it's red, white and blue with the huge bald eagle emblazoned across the entire front of the suit. And it's never too late to become an Elvis fan and have that visceral connection with how he makes you FEEL. A DJ in Memphis said it best: 'If you're an Elvis fan, no explanation is necessary, if you're not, then no explanation is possible'.

The Aloha Special is iconic because it was the first live performance broadcast around the world. Elvis was so nervous and he did a ton of preparation for the show to make sure it was outstanding. This performance is from the rehearsal show. The following night was the actual live performance. You can tell the difference because Elvis’ hair was cut after the rehearsal show, and his demeanor is a little more serious in the actual live show. He was a perfectionist and wanted to make sure the show was fantastic and it was. The band was outstanding along with several powerful vocal performances, and fun songs too… like Steam Roller Blues. :) This is a slightly older Elvis obviously (he died a few years later)… But his performances awesome…And he was so beloved around the world. Fun fact: Elvis has been put stamps in more countries than anyone in history. ;-) Love your wonderful reactions. Xx

It TICKLES me to see you young people discovering ELVIS!! It warms my heart. This man is still making fans all these years later. He sold out every concert and the Hawaii concert was the very 1st to be via satellite around the world to a billion people! Have you listened to American trilogy yet? He has several gospel albums too. He needed the outfits he started the bling for Last Vegas. I still love him to this day, he still gives me chills!!

Elvis' true legacy is bringing people together and what's nice about YT is that new fans have direct access to Elvis and get the truth. I think the white jumpsuits look ridiculous on any of the impersonators but when you see Elvis in them? He's looking fine! This is one of my fav performances of his... the power of his voice knocks you back in your seat!

It was only after his death, that all of the haters came out! His capes and his jumpsuits were absolutely incredible! So artistic, sophisticated and so well done! Everyone was in awe of him, because he pave the way for other musical artists and everything he did!

This was a rehearsal in Hawaii & fans could come in & watch. Elvis loved his fans & always wanted to do his best. This rehearsal video had Elvis ending with his powerful voice as he threw his head back. His onesy outfits came about by his Karate training. That was a two-piece outfit but gave him the ability to move around & not bust out the seat of his pants, which happened a lot! The onesy material had give in it. Then the embellishments came along. Elvis knew his beloved fans paid their money to be entertained & he wasn't going on stage in jeans & a t-shirt! Elvis, this beautiful man, always thought he had a little (chicken) neck. That's why the tall collar came into the outfit! Next month I'll be 72 & I love seeing new people, young & old, finding Elvis & his God-given talent for the first time! ❤❤

Hey sweetheart thanks for reacting to my main man Elvis , that concert was shown around the world in over. 40 countries , and you see that jumpsuit , at the end of the concert he takes the studded Cape off and Throws it in the audience , I was lucky enough to see him 3 times in concert and that first time was in. April. 8th 1972 ,in Knoxville Tennessee , I was only 11 years old and that's still the very best day of my life , Elvis is on a planet by himself, no one else can touch the world in So many ways as he still continues to do , he actually had a r robe made just like the jumpsuit he was wearing here made for his friend Muhammad Ali , you can probably find the video of the robe , Elvis was a Man Among Men Who shared his Total package with the world , and hey , he is still. Breaking records 46 yrs later , he has more fan clubs around the world than any other artist , great tip for you is Elvis had asthma and he could go from the highest of highs to a deep low tone in a second , truly appreciate the great reaction and I try to check out your Elvis reactions as much as possible , have you heard him sing Like A Bridge Over Troubled Water , powerful as Hell, and as always he sang Gospel music like no one else can, react to Elvis . Singing How Great Thou Art in 1972, another great one is Where No one Stands Alone , there's a version where. His daughter Lisa Marie joined in virtual with Elvis , she showed off that Presley Power in the song. Thanks Lori Sutton TCB 1935

The Aloha From Hawaii concert on 1973 was epic. First of all...Elvis. A fantastic concert was a given. Second it was the first concert broadcast worldwide by satellite.
The multitude of Elvis impersonaters thst you saw everywhere after he died is when people started making jokes about Elvis. A majority of the impersonaters were so over the top that people started associating Elvis with them and not Elvis homself.

The Aloha from Hawaii was the mature Elvis at the height of his vocal career. His divorce had just finalized. He only wanted to do ballads and his band had a hard time getting him to do up beat songs. They did manage to get him to do Burning Love and he killed it. Also, from that same concert Steam Roller Baby.
I’m 81 and looking forward to the Hologram Elvis concert tour starting in November in England. It will be coming to Vegas and I’m making sure I’ll be there. His fans will fill the house.

I’ve listened to Elvis all my life and every time I hear the Cathy Westmore, the girl who’s hitting those high operatic notes behind Elvis while he’s belting out all that vibrato, it has all the essence of a band of angels singing in the clouds. That’s where it takes me.
