Every song Elvis sings is immortalized in his voice. The other singers are in second place.
Not even a close second.
“If you don’t think we’re listening to that again, you’re crazy.” YOU ROCK!❤
An explosion of emotion and sentiment.
He’s not The King for no reason. Nobody ever did it like Elvis.
✌🏼😎 👑
Elvis captures you with the first few words of this song ... no one feels a song like he does ! TCB forever !
Elvis is the G.O.A.T of this song…….✌🏻🇺🇸
His voice engulfs you
Simon & Garfunkel are on record. When they saw Elvis singing this, they said: "How are we going to complete with that!?
When Paul Simon first heard Elvis version of this song he said to himself "how the hell csn i compite with that?!"
He probably felt that way when Disturbed sang "The Sound of Silence". lol!
God truly blessed Elvis. He is just perfect in every way from his handsome face, to his unbelievable voice. He was still sounding this good right to the end which with what all they said was wrong in his health. Elvis was a man who not only entertained us but brought a lot to learn more about God. I will forever and always love this man.
THE KING. Elvis Aaron Presley!👑
Elvis is a master of his gospel singing roots...
Back in the 70s the country radio station my mom listened to was giving away free Elvis concert tickets. You had to call in and give the name, so everyone (9 of us) called in with mom's name. The following weekend EVERYONE took turns listening to the radio. Saturday evening, my brother came running down the stairs screaming, "They called mom's name!" She called the station to confirm and got the tickets in the mail. She and my aunt loved the concert and my brother got an ice cream sundae for helping.
Which concert did the get to go to?
@@carolhayar3037 I don't know, it was so long ago and I was a kid, but it was in L..A.
@@jodij6280 ok, thx
Nobody did it like Elvis.
Just the most handsome man ever. Swoon.
The KING
No one sings like ,Elvis ,this man can from low vocals to very strong vocals ,plus he sings with passion ,emotion ,watch him do suspicios minds ,and polk salad annie,in 70 ,you won,t be able to take your eyes off him
This is The best rendition of this song! Mesmerizing is the right word!
It’s a complete master class of singing. Elvis IS and ALWAYS will be the greatest. There are many tremendous singers throughout music history, but Elvis had the drive to be iconic. Nobody had the God given gifts like he did.
This men is not normal, Elvis is soooo good my boy. Thank God for ELVIS 🙏👑
Next song hurt 1977
When Elvis gets into it, he can belt it out!
Amazing! Elvis' vocals are incomparable! He goes high to low effortlessly, just natural! His performance of this song imo is the best! Simon and Garfunkel after hearing Elvis said "How the heck can I compete with that!" Great reaction...ty
Art Garfunkel's version is better than this. They are both good, but Garfunkel has such an angelic and strong voice, and he is a better interpreter of Simon's music.
@@lamusiclover2264 Art blows Elvis away
@@robertkern9911 I agree with you. His delivery is so beautiful and so heart-rending. Art Garfunkel's voice is like velvet
I Love Elvis's Version !!
I prefer it to Art's. ❤
I agree. The power and perfection in Elvis' voice is unmatched!
Elvis had quiet the voice back in the day. 😉🤤
Across the board Brilliant!
Don't you love the way he directs his band?
Simon and Garfunkel approached it like poets, Elvis treated it like a gospel
Great way to put it
Elvis is my favourite 😍 so so good xx
The best male voice/singer ever ! Such a tragic loss.
What makes Elvis’s version of this song stand out above all the rest, including the original, IS THE GOSPEL flavour he sings it in. Even Paul Simon stated after watching Elvis perform this song said “How can I ever compete with this”.
Such a Epic performance ❤❤❤
I’m 77 and it gave me chills…
"I need more Elvis in my life". Wiser words are few and far between, my friend. Suspicious Minds live in Vegas if you wanna have some fun! I need more Jesus in my life! ✌🏼
This is why he was the King.
Such a great reaction! Elvis is/was one of a kind and I just love this song by him. It really showcases his natural and beautiful vibrato
Simply the undisputed master, that's why he's known as "The King"
I have seen this performance so many times and it never gets old. I love it to death every time. Everything about it is just amazing. And as powerful as he gets at the end, I really love his dynamics and subtlety and nuance at the beginning. It's just so amazing the range he goes through on so many levels in just one song.
There are a number of fantastic performances from the same 1970 Vegas show in the white jumpsuit. But for a couple of them that are extremely upbeat and fan favorites, check out Suspicious Minds and Polk Salad Annie, from this same show. It's so fun. And you just get such a good glimpse of his personality with his band and also with the audience and also just on stage.
There is no entertainer like Elvis he leaves you with so much anticipation and enthralled to hear his voice gets right down to the depths of your soul his voice is set in stone and will always be Thank you great reaction 😎🎯💯♥️
WOW
This live version is unbelievable good. Thank you so much!🌞
I think so too. Some people say the version from 1972 is better. For me this is one of my five Elvis favorits.
Paul Simon heard Elvis singing their song and promptly said” how the heck can we follow that??”👌💕🕺
I love this song, too, and when Elvis sings it, it goes right to your heart and soul because he puts his heart and soul into it. Fantastic. That voice is unworldly. Thanks for this wonderful reaction. He does a lot of up tempo songs in the 68 Special in the black leather segments. I Gotta Woman and Big Hunk of Love from 1970 LasVegas live.
Elvis Presley - Polk Salad Annie Live (High Quality)
Great reaction. Elvis could sing anything and make it his own. Suggest watching the sit down portions of the 68 Special to see Elvis let go on some more raucous tunes. He’s incredible.
For me, one of his finest live performances. Absolutely stunning. He made this sing his own , as he did with all his covers. The man was a genius. Elvis lives 💙
You have to listen to Elvis' unplugged 68 Comeback Special. Because of this show, I became a fan after his death. He's at his most... stunning
A little Less Conversation is a great fun, upbeat Elvis song.
Too few videos show Elvis technical masteries. Thank you for this one.
God he was so fine 🔥
He's the greatest singer to ever live!!!
Great reaction as usual! For a fun song check out 1970 live in Las Vegas ( Suspicious Minds 6:22 ) lots of dancing and having fun with his background singers and same show 1970 live Las Vegas ( Polk Salad Annie 4:51 ) you will love these it really shows off his charisma he’s the best performer ever!!!
Yes please
HE is AMAZING great reaction . his breathe compacity is awesome You are so Right !!
he was😇 he is❤️and always will be 🌟the best performer all times 👌❤️👌
Check out " Baby what do you want me to do"" from the '68 Comeback Special - it's so much fun!
PLEASE REVIEW !! You’ve lost that loving feeling by him on stage !! Live performance! It’s awesome!!!!
make sure it's the version where the reactor did not cut out the beautiful crack & raspiness in his voice; someone actually did that for some stupid reason & it doesn't sound right -- it's just not Elvis
An extraordinary song, an extraordinary artist
Always the consummate showman. Elvis always delivered. What is amazing, but also sad is his last recording, a live performance of Unchained Melody where you can already see that he was ill but still a great performance.
Such a pleasure seeing The King live and in his prime. He had such a rich and powerful voice. I was waiting for a karate move at the end.
Best rendition ever with Elvis singing Bridge. Please Try Elvis cover song Can't stop Believing. I think you will like it.
Paul Simon said after hearing Elvis, he didn’t think he could ever singing it again!
That is like God is speaking to us, using the voice of Elvis Presley and the words and music of Paul Simon.
Elvis gives the perfect performance here. It can’t be topped. This is far better the when Philharmonic Orchestra took over the background.
I highly recommend “I Can’t Stop Loving You”. Elvis called out “Release Me” and they played the wrong song. Elvis handles is like a pro and is hilarious in the process. ruclips.net/video/LNtP5Gd8QGE/видео.html
Great cover !!!!!!!!!!! the King
This is best version above all other versions done by anyone else!
Perfection❤️
Promised Land is a good fast tempo rocker. A cute one to react to is The Lady Loves Me. It's a clip from his film Viva Las Vegas and is a call and response with Ann-Margret. It's very entertaining.
A vocal masterpiece!
Elvis THE LEGEND!!!! Totally agree with you
I remember reading that Paul Simon heard elvis rendition of his song, and he said, "How do you follow that!" Indeed, how do you? Impossible
Elvis the king! The voice and his carizma Prfect in every way.Thank for sharing his music.🍀☘️✌️👍💋🤗🙏😍🤩🤟👌🤘😇🌩️
Gorgeous!!!!!
Perfection.
Paul Simon said "How can I ever top that"? Paul said that this was his favorite cover of Bridge Over Troubled Water. He loved the arrangement by Elvis and Orchestration with back up vocals. Paul was in the Audience in Vegas and went to the August 1970 engagement to hear Elvis sing the song. Elvis put it on the 1970 " "Elvis -That's The Way It Is" Album. I bought the Album first day of issue and this exact video/recording is on that album.
Big Hunk O' Love from Elvis On Tour 1972. You Gave Me A Mountain from Elvis On Tour 1972.
No auto tuned. Pure TALENT.
Omg I will never get tired of listening to this man 's music !the king !❤👑 great reaction!😊
A more “upbeat” one, would be a song called “Lawdy Miss Clawdy”.
I would recommend you watch him sing it at the 68’ Comeback Special.
Thanks 🙏🏻
Great reaction!!! For a great upbeat song with incredible charisma from Elvis. "Tryin to Get to you - 1968 Comeback Special " is an iconic performance. Showcases his vocals, raw talent and emotion. It is an unforgettable performance.
Elvis put such an emotional spin on it as only he could....love his magical voice never be another like him.....I will love him forevermore ! ! !
"The King" - nothing more needs to be said❤
He's definitely one of a kind! That's why so many people try to copy him.
That's why Elvis is the King. Chills
Listen to WHAT NOW MY LOVE
For an upbeat live performance - from this same Vegas engagement and film - try ESPECIALLY "Suspicious Minds," which is probably his finest live performance ever - an astonishing marathon. Also from that set, "Patch It Up," "Polk Salad Annie," and "I Can't Stop Loving You" are upbeat standouts.
Upbeat - Jailhouse Rock, Blue Suede Shoes, Hound Dog, or A Little Less Conversation.
upbeat songs: Rubberneckin, Dirty dirty feelin, Patch it up, Rip it up, I got a feelin in my body, T-R-O-U-B-L-E, Little darlin, Saved, Milkcow blues boogie, such a night✨
Ewww good choices! Went way back for some Milkcow. I love that song. 🔥🧯
Great reaction! The studio version by him is even better imo. One of the greatest voices I've ever heard! Thanks SalvoG
Absolutely love it, what an incredible voice he had.
This is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE Performances. I absolutely Love this ❤
I love how you step back because you know he is about to open the gates of Heaven with his voice 👏
He is just the best!
Love Elvis 💕💕🥰🥰👑👑🎶🎶... you will also love Stuck on you/shopping Around/G I Blues/ It's Now or Never/Such a night/Teddy Bear/Surrender/Jailhouse Rock/Judy........just to name of few songs (Elvis sang nearly 800 hundred songs) so you are about to have quite a trip if you go down the Elvis 'rabbit hole'....enjoy🎶🎶😎
That’s Alright Mama…. Vegas opening 1970 🔥🔥🔥🔥
The man was treated like a dancing puppet. It's a shame by the time he realized the Colonel was using him, he died. 😭 I wouldn't be from Vegas if I did request Viva Las Vegas & Suspicious Mind both up beat 😉
Elvis brings the gospel to a song!
I love. Elvis cover of this beautiful song. Love to see your facial expressions when you hear Elvis. He has a magical way of pulling you into his soul. Elvis did many upbeat songs. If you get into his huge catalog there are many live performances from his early career to the Los Vegas era of his career. He recorded over 700 songs. Check out Polk Salad Annie 1970Los Vegas ( That’s the way it is) also suspicious minds and Patch it up. You won’t be disappointed and Elvis fans will be watching. Thank you for discovering Elvis music and introducing him to new audiences.
Great reaction, love this song
Never get tired of Elvis singing this song it was just awesome once you hear him cover a song it becomes his beautiful thank you 😊
Upbeat songs by Elvis "Rubberneckin' , Any Day Now, Polk Salad Annie...."
For upbeat try:
Polk salad Annie

Walk a mile in my shoes
Mystery train/ tiger man
All from 1970 then ,
Trouble/ guitar man 1968 opening
Tryin to get to you 1968 comeback special
Never been to spain 1972 live
Ready teddy 1956 live

Elvis turns this song into a religious experience that is just incredible. Still gives me the chills every time I hear it. His voice is angelic and totally mesmerizing. Another incredible vocal performance by Elvis
This is absolutely fabulous… The take that was used on the album “That’s the Way It Is” in my opinion is the greatest rendition of this song.
El had lots of upbeat songs. Jailhouse Rock, Teddy Bear, CC Rider, Heartbreak Hotel, Big Hunk o' Love, Viva Las Vegas. It's a large catalog.
Only this man had the perfect control of his voice and the moment he needed to unleash the power of that voice,
