You need to watch him do that in his last concert.
His voice was beautiful!
Your sense of timing for stopping the music is uncanny lol.
Don't forget the karate moves!!!
I wish Nina could react to 1960, "it's now or never" audio only
A total one-off in every sense. The one singer that everyone wished they could see perform live. Missed by millions to this day.
True true
Absolutely
I was one of those lucky ones to see him perform in 1973. He was just amazing to watch. The command of the audience was apparent as soon as he hit the stage. The vocals he had was astonishing. He never left the building that night he owned it.
I saw him twice 75 & 77 awesome performance
@@brianwhitney9181 - Thats the best description of anyone I’ve come across who has seen Elvis live. Thank you. I will take that with me. I envy you.
who doesn't love Elvis? he will always be the king.
ALWAYS THE KING NUMBER ONE IN THE WORLD FROM FRANCE MARSEILLE ESTEBANE
Frank Sinatra was the greatest vocalist of all time. True but Elvis was at the next level up from great.
@@davidgibbs7232 in France Elvis is number one and he is always cool légend than Franck Sinatra

Hello Lori
You sooooo right, it‘s impossible to not Love Elvis, he was so a perfect person, he accept everyone, i Love him like a brother
For you stay safe and a merry Christmas, Elvis Song: IF EVERY DAY WAS LIKE CHRISTMAS
René from Luxembourg
I was one of the billions that tuned in to watch Elvis Aloha From Hawaii on tv in 1973. I have loved Elvis for over 50 years now and he still gives me goosebumps and leaves me in awe. There is, was, and never will be no one like Elvis, Elvis was the whole package.
Así es. Nadie tan completo.
i was on audience with my parents awesome there is one and only king of music and his name is Elvis PRESLEY ( i was 13)
He never had music lessons he never had any lessons for playing a piano or a guitar it was all a God given talent. He was and always will be the KING, NOBODY BUT NOBODY WILL EVER RISE TO THE HEIGHT THAT ELVIS ROSE TO
""god" given talent" = He put in hours.
I agree!
No amount of lessons will make you a talented musician or singer. You have to have natural born musical ability and if you do not no amount of lessons or practicing will make you great . Anyone who is great who takes lessons is not made great by the lessons or by studying theory they are great becuase they were born with the talent to start with lessons are just a refining tool . It's like being born without athletic ability. Without natural athletic ability no amount of practicing will make you an Olympic athlete. You have to have at least some natural aptitude. You can overcome not being the most naturally gifted musician but you have to have at least some natural aptitude for .it. you cannot teach someone talent with lessons
Agreed and he knew it. That's why he gave away 87% of everything he ever earned to charity. He said God gave him the talent and God gave him the money to give to others. He even paid the taxes on those gifts and never once filed for a tax deduction for all he have away.
Amen. I’m 55 and saw The King Live in DC, about a year before he passed. I was about 10 and I’ll never forget & feel blessed having seen him live.
No auto tune no ear pieces---just raw perfect!
Hi.
Elvis's voice was always morphing and changing.
The young punk rocker from the mid fifties screaming "shake rattle and roll" jailhouse rock, etc.
Then the opera of "it's now or never" 1960.
Can't help falling in love, with his velvet smoothness.
The gritty soul of the 1968 sessions.
The sweet smooth falsetto in the mid sixties. To the mellow tone of the 70's
He was a remarkable voice for THE AGES.
Well said.
Said very well
He’s so emotive that one can’t hep feeling what he’s singing. One of a kind. Never will be another.
Everytime I hear Elvis I feel like I am being swallowed by a Tsunami of sound. The power, the depth, the waves of vibrato that are never overdown. No one can end a song like him either. And he never phoned it in. Even his recordings were pretty much all live. His voice did not need to be treated with effects. He made his own magic.
He was best of all time by a mile american trilogy. Bridge over trouble water. You will never walk alone to name a few
Best of all time? 👌
Totally agree, and second your song choices.

Whenever Elvis covered a song he always brought it up about five notches, my favorite version its as good a version as ive ever heard - with apologies to the late Frank Sinatra RIP, he sang it first but Elvis sang it best. My God that rich regal voice of Elvis just has no equal, RIP ELVIS.
Well said.
Singing live in front of over 1.5 billion people... Not many artists sound better live than in a recording studio.... He was one of a kind... Nice review
3.8 billion
Makes it so much more unbelievable
He loved the BIG finish
too....always goosebumps from this performance.
.. He could make
you feel the emotions in the songs....he performed with his entire body ....it is
almost impossible to take your eyes off of him also....he gave us

songs, performances

Unforgettable.
Phenomenal and absolutely unique
Greatest voice and charisma ever.
Please more Elvis! Please more Elvis!
This is BY FAR the best version of the song I‘ve ever heard. Amazing!
The song was written by Paul Anka for Frank Sinatra. Elvis' version is definitely my favorite of all time, too!
@@jamesprior2496 NO it's not, it is a Claude François song, HE WROTE IT and SANG IT, but in FRENCH, Paul Anka translated it and changed a few parts!!
Goosebumps.....chills...
and I stopped breathing at one point....he had it all.
He thought he would be forgotten.
Forget Elvis?????
Impossible!
His stage presence alone is absolutely breath taking, let alone his amazing vocals.

Goosebumps personified! You know he's good when us musicians look at it and go "INCREDIBLE" Ooozed talent and charisma. One of a kind God given talent.
I got to see Elvis in concert 3 times from 1975-1977 when he performed this song. And each time he would hit that last note, you could feel the entire arena tremble and vibrate all around you and under your feet from the power of his voice. It was the same thing with that last notes of "An American Trilogy" and "You Gave Me A Mountain" as well.
He is one of the few artists to mix diverse music genres into his own sound. His warm voice in combination with the emotional way to convey the story, he managed to touch everyone. He was not an artist, he was special. Will never return, one of a kind......
Great reaction Nina. There will only ever be one Elvis, thank you.
Elvis was given the ultimate gift. His voice was incredible and you could feel the emotion he put in a song.
It is so amazing to see a new generation discover Elvis. Amusing yet unbelievable on how he still has his effect on the ladies, even after death.
I was a teenager when Elvis died , its like they say, its a moment that imprints in your memory , where you were and what you were doing. My mother said the shock and grief was equal to that of the John F Kennedy assignation. The local theatre played Elvis aloha from Hawaii , I remember looking around this packed theatre when he was singing this song and it broke everyone
He gives everybody goosebumps!!! I’m 71 and have listened to him all my life. He still gives me goosebumps from the first word he sings! Then I go to deep sadness that he left way too soon.🥺
Elvis Presley the King of music Elvis Presley the best singer all times forever
I saw Elvis perform live..seen many concerts thru the years but no one was/is as cool as Elvis. Most handsome man & voice like none other...total package!!
I DID get the goosebumps! I pretty much get them every time I watch this but I do love your reactions, I love how much attention you draw to every little detail and I can totally appreciate it as a musician. Yeah I definitely got the Goosebumps even just watching your reaction. And even though I've seen this a billion times.
Sublime no other words. He was the greatest singer and entertainer this world has ever seen in my opinion . Before him and still now. Still miss him and listen to his music everyday. Thankyou for highlighting this performance. All his performances were from his Heart. thankyou Nina.
No one can ever come close to Elvis, he was Beautiful, Best Looking, he loved his fans and his fans are still Loving Him, The Best Entertainer and Humanitarian To Have Walked This Planet, The Voice, The Revolutionary, The King Elvis !
I watched that concert when it was broadcast and got goosebumps then, 49 years later, I still get goosebumps. Literally, the best.
Simply the Best the King👑 Elvis
4:00 this exact moment, that stance, that outfit, that facial expression- this to me is the definitive screenshot of The King.
He was a treasure! Love your reactions and your ability to break down what is happening with the voice, instruments, tempos, etc....... He could sing anything and make it his.... This is "my funeral" request song for when I leave this world.
That performance Elvis gave the whole Concert aloha from Hawaii I think is one of the most perfectly vocal performances I've ever heard 10 out of 10.
It always felt spiritual when he sang as if god was singing to you!!!😊
My favorite performance of Elvis doing this song is his last concert he gave it everything put it beautifully Soulful man
Defiantly one of elvisis best songs performance give me tears every time I hear it it starts off so mellow then into a explosion what a voice thousands upon thousands have tried to perfect his voice over the years none have elvis preselys voice was a gift from got he is the king and always will be

Grear breakdown of the performance! His voice just fills the room, he is the G.O.A.T for shor, please take a look at if i can dream 1968, maybe the best performance ever
You hit it right on queue. Elvis was one of the Greatest performers who ever walked this earth. I was fortunate to attend this concert back in 1973. The concert was truly a lifetime event.

His connection with and love for his fans was always visible.. There was only one Elvis and it will remain that way.. He still to this very day has women crying with tears of happiness.. RIP Elvis..
I love watching you enjoy him as much as I always have!! Thank you!
The most iconic, influential, and beloved figure in the history of rock and roll .....the KING of rock and roll !!! And the greatest entertainer/performer of ALL TIME !!!!!!!!!
Elvis the best of the best. Congratulations on the excellent analysis.
In the beginning he´s reading the text (never fully comfortably). The ending is a showcase of a total "kingness"". love how you notice microphone technique and such. Elvis was very aware of it.
A God given VOICE!! Incredible ❤❤
His music always makes me feel happy when I hear it. He was one of the best in the world.
The power and tone is definitely there, but you got it at "command" His confidence makes all of this possible. He knew who he was and what he could do.
HE WILL ALWAYS BE THE kING. i HAVE WATCHED IT AGAIN & AGAIN, KING.
Great performance by Elvis and your insight on his singing style was spot on. Elvis wore that eagle suit because he was very patriotic and he knew people all around the world would watch this..
Thank The Lord, I was blessed to see him LIVE in concert!! AMAZING!!♥️
" If a can dream " , amaria ver a sua reação , Elvis está extraordinário !
Its incredible seeing a young generation react to Elvis in the way. I have been into Elvis since I was around 5 years old. Since then different genres and artists have graced my collection but honestly, If I had the choice of only having 'The King' to listen to or everything else, it would not even be a difficult decision. There is nothing else like him, the carm, voice, looks, charisma, everything, is streets ahead of anyone else.
Best voice ever esp compared to todays voices. He was a real singer!
Elvis sings from the heart and feels every words. He is simply the best ever.
Síiiii!!!! Y no habrá quien lo supere.!!!!!!!!
Goosebumps every time, indeed... I'm glad you chose this :-) Would you care to share more about Elvis Presley's life, career, upbringing, etc? :-)

That was beautiful just like you. I love you and I love Elvis.
He was a once in a lifetime talent...
I feel the same way you do. Goosebumps. I love when he he sings the high notes at the end of songs. I literally stop breathing so not to miss a note.
I miss him.
You are the best
Still brings tears to my eyes... he is missed.
This man is something you'll never see again!
Than pk
Thank you for being one of the FEW vocal coaches who will do analysis video on Elvis.
Perfect pitch. He sang from the gut. Very unique. When you heard Elvis, you knew after 2 notes that it was ELVIS! He has no Equal. That stance…A lot of vocal coaches use that as a point of reference to use when singing. The man had it. Singers need songs, Entertainers need only a stage.
Go back and listen to him singing it in 1977, then say he’s pitch perfect in 73
@@michelleevans4948 …He was pitch perfect in '73.
@@Guitarwizzard1833 no, unfortunately he wasn’t in comparison to 77
@@michelleevans4948 …That's your opinion…unfortunately, your opinion is wrong.
@@Guitarwizzard1833 and that’s your opinion. Good day
One of the most inspiring singers of all time his stage presence is unbelievable I was only 10 years old when he passed I was so heartbroken but my father was devastated there will never ever be another Elvis in fact he wants all to find their own voice and not use his. Gob bless you for this great reaction
Very nice review! A lot of people think Elvis is feeling melancholy with this song, but if you notice at the beginning of the last verse as the sound and tempo builds around him he steps forward towards the audience almost in defiance of the lyrics. When he introduced My Way to his setlist in August 1972 while performing in Las Vegas he stated "ladies & gentlemen, that's a very good song...I wouldn't want it associated with my own personal life, the end is near and all that jazz. It's ok for Sinatra...I haven't even ate it up and spit it out yet, I'm still chewing on it." He said that in jest, but what many critics have missed is Elvis enjoyed singing in all genres, he did not want to be just a rock star...that was just too easy and artistically unchallenging. Take a look at What Now My Love from the same show (not the rehearsal)... another flawless performance.
Well, he filed for divorce from Priscilla on his 38th birthday, January 8, 1973 and the concert in Hawaii went live on January 14, 1973, so yeah, he might have felt a bit melancholy, even though they had already been separated since February 1972.
@@jayeginn5963...he did not file for divorce on his birthday, come on. He filed for divorce in September 1972 while performing in Las Vegas. In fact his GD manager; Col Parker, informed him that his lawyers had done so on his behalf while backstage preparing to go on for a show. The Aloha show highlights Elvis in a very focused mindset...the primary reason his performances of all the big ballads are so flawlessly executed.
@@marklittlejohn5740 Elvis and Priscilla separated on February 23, 1972, and filed for legal separation on July 26. He filed for the actual divorce on his birthday.
I love Elvis 🤩🤩🤩
Mark-thank you for your information and story about this song that Elvis performed. I did not know this
I listened to the radio for hours on August 16th 1977 as Elvis Presley's voice filled the air while I was at once marveled by what I listened to and deeply saddened too that he was gone forever.
He was the best... He had everything like EVERYTHING.
What an amazing fricken VOICE-!!!
I do have goosepimples everytime Elvis sings love songs and gospel songs.I could feel his emotions..really gifted man.
Was never much of an Elvis fan but whenever he sings this song you feel every emotion its incredible
Some gospel. Elvis take my previous hand. The voice is immaculate through every change of decade and every style. The voice the man
Elvis presley was and will always be the best singer and the king Mr elvis presley the best singer ever
Favorite singer, and favorite song composure. Elvis was not just the lead singer. He was the composer, directer, conductor. Love him so.
"THE KING" nothing else needs to be said.................
You've gotta love how he peeks at the lyrics on Charlie Hodge's music stand from under his long eyelashes (1:19 mark on). He was always nervous to get lyrics wrong or forget them.
The absolute best entertainer of all Time, voice, swagger, charisma, talent, talent, talent....I still believe that he's also sold more records than anyone else....Ever! If all Worldwide record sales are counted he has almost surely had more sold.
Once i took a look at the geness book of records,Elvis was at fist at the time.
The greatest singer and voice ever. Wow.
Elvis was a pure natural his tone of his voice and the way he delivers the song is a gift of God there is no other way to look at this.
All of his concerts was great except for his last concert you could tell in his eyes he was in pain I really felt sorry for him
I just live it and adore Elvis, and everything you said is absolutely right, and I get goosebumps everytime I listen to that songs and others of him.
My mom took me to see Elvis in 1977 is Birmingham, Al. I was 8. Because he had his plane in my families hanger, we were fortunately able to get back stage and meet him if he had a sec. Sure enough, i remember my mother ushering me thru a corridor and into a room with so many people in it. Through the crowd we were led by a nice man with what I thought was a “lot of jewelry.” In a split second we were standing infront of Elvis. He had his famous jumpsuit on but it was different than what he would normally wear. The same man that ushered up to Elvis whispered something in his ear, he grinned and bent over and held his hand out. He looks at me and says, “What’s your name son?” I felt a tingling sensation go straight up my spine and my mom would speak of a similar feeling years later as we discussed when I was an adult. Elvis was so gracious, and bigger than life. The civic center was brand new and he packed it out that nite. Never disappointing. Rip King ⚡️🫶
