Simpler tip for getting off planet. Just set a Nav Marker someplace about a half sector above the planet, get airborne and punch the autopilot and your rocketing into space in no time. I do think Landing does require a little more human intervention, but I would add one point, the Yellow Marker, unlike a space station where you aim right for it, well I do, you ultimately will wind up just under it, and that through me a time or two before I groked it.
Starfield looks nice indeed. However does not have planetary landings, actual space flight from sector to sector only loading screens, To be fair you are talking about how nice an rpg looks on a video about a space sim which focuses primarily on the joy of flying the space ship. Apples and oranges I'm afraid. But starfield does look nice. I have been eyeing it up myself. I might buy it.
@@DeathTechDB was just joking because starfield does not have all the space sim stuff which was implied that it would have It's a amazing game though even without real space sim
+Gamer Bandit Not as far as I am aware but my tutorial does neglect to mention that you can fully land (as in stationary & not consuming fuel) by landing as I have shown and thrusting directly downwards. There is mention of a "walker" device in the game code so that may be one of the secrets or something. It may be possible to do so although the closest I have gotten is a proper planetary landing on the surface.
