I hope you enjoy my list of top 10 things to do in Evochron Legacy.
Boy, let me tell you trying to make this video was a bit of a pain in the ass. Trekking through the universe to record things.
And then the video processing was like WHOA NOPE CAN'T DO VIDEOS YO!
So just for those who are interested a written version of the list:
Remember the entries are not in any particular order.
10. Traveling through a black hole's wormhole
9. Visit all the wrecks / hidden content.
8. Find an unknown unmarked planet in deep space.
7. Find a terrain walker and use it to explore a planets ocean/mining.
6. Reach Legendary Military and Trading Status
5. Commit space piracy
4. Visit Sol
3. Land on Earth
2. Visit Riftspace
1. Participate in a community activity

are there clans and groups to join in this game?
Yes and no.
There are clans in a way but not really anything officially built in.
In basic essence you choose a faction (ALC, FED or IND) and that is your core group that you expected to co-operate with.
Some players do make clans / groups on the forums and recruit in-game on multi-player servers.
However the most this does for anyone is a "clantag" in the name to identify each other and further it doesn't really affect gameplay more than choosing to hang out with those specific players.
So are there people making clans/ groups absolutely. Are they worked into the game? Nope.
this game sounds very similar set up to elite dangerouse i really wish they would make a straight pvp space game one that can compete with eve because i cant get in to eve but i know i would a easy starting pvp game.
so can you set up industry and fleets in this game?
Well that is a complicated question to answer.
Short answer: In My Honest Opinion no you can't. But its more complicated than that.
Long answer:
You are able to build stations you don't get to own or manage so that is a not to industry in my opinion as you are still buying from a station not manufacturing yourself, unlike the old X games.
For fleets you can have a fleet, but only by hiring other npc's and that functionality does not exist in multi-player because of balancing stuff. And the fleets are just other ships that follow you around or do a couple of simple commands. You can't order them around unlike the old X games where you can.
So can you set up fleets and industry? Yes, but not in a meaningful way.
thanks i'm looking for a game that does the industry and fleet creation to manage my space or even planetary corporations Xgames are ok but the controls are horrific and the graphics aren't up to par with decent modern games
Try x3 + Litcube's Universe for industry and fleets + IEX for better graphics.
out of curiosity, i don't see any mods available on steam for it so where do you find them?
If you are asking about Evochron I'm not sure. Most of them can be found floating around on the Evochron forums I think.
why is it so difficult to land on earth?

Could that be designed to keep Earth inaccessible to the player? So they don't have to program in all the cities and biomes? That would be a game in itself. I know with elite dangerous, the atmosphere prevents landing, but in the case of earth it is probably likely due to the need to keep Earth off limits.
Misaki Asai It is possible to land. No sure of the secrets it may hold. But players have held competitions to find out how to land. And some methods were confirmed. Who knows what goodies it holds.

I don't think it is actually possible to land on there in a legit way. In my years of evochron experience, all accounts of people landing on it were most likely due to people altering game files. But I could be wrong, maybe there is a way. But I discourage people from trying to land, as it is just a waste of time.
This is literally Evochron Mercenary lool mistitled game. Legacy is the newest (and best IMO) one in the Evochron series.
Any footage I own in the video is shot by myself is from Evochron legacy. The only part of this video that is Evochron Mercenary is the terrain walker section as that is not my video.

Lone developer, no advertising. You wouldn't be surprised people not have heard of it before. And yet this video alone has 11.000 view+ so it must have a decently big cult following. XD
