Graham Webster Same for me. The first person view of Evochron Mercenary increases the immersion. (There is also the option of 3rd person view for those who prefer)
I had no idea that there were on-foot sections to this game. I love space sims, but I love space sims that combine on-foot/ground exploration in conjunction with space. So this just became an instant buy for me now!! Thanks for showing this!
Man I gotta say Sinbad this video deserves a like. Not to mention I just bought this secret gem of a game a while ago, it now has a special place in my heart.

The expansion just makes it even more so now.
This video makes me wonder about walker cockpit mods now... going to have a look for some, or failing that, have a crack at making one myself, since Vice has made modding so painless.

This game definitely needs to get more attention, sell more copies, get known worldwide. This is better than every space sim out there.
Cockpit mod is the famous "Perch Cockpit" originally by Ijon. There are now various versions which can be found on the Starwraith Forum website.

If you have a POV hat on your joystick you can use the "set POV to pan" option in the game menu. And/or you can use "mouse look" which is default F10 key.

Well you've convinced me to redownload E:M and play it. I've owned it since Steam launch but never really played it much.
hmmm bought an Evochron game a long time ago the ships were fat and square looking. These look much better, the land seemed a little square looking in places but not bad. It might be worth giving Evochron another look.

so you "built" a whole space station with one click? wow. That doesn't seem to fit in with the rest of the gameplay. And why does your space ship turn into a transparent green blob when you're not in it?

Hi +Jp93. Enemies can frequently be found in distant or uncharted systems, but not always. It depends if the system is "hostile", which will show up in your Nav console.

That "robot" is a Terrain Walker. You can buy them from hi-tech systems.

The_Evenfighter Is your version Demo? Or paid? If it's bought version you should be able to access the servers for online play. It's possible that some servers may be private and require a pass. But I know for sure that there are several public servers with no pass requirement.
The_Evenfighter I'm afraid I can't play at the moment cos I don't have a gaming computer :( There are several ways to find planets. I think easiest is to buy info from AI pilots, they sometimes give clues about location of hidden planets. Check out the game forum for more info
bad formation. if I was going to attack, you guy would be gone and dead in like 1 mine flat. you have a line formation going. you need to be front and center, and the 2 guys left and right of you in the back.
