    A lot of judges in the US are unstable and the sentence is measured a lot by the mood of the judge, so after seeing all these ridiculous videos where judges are giving unfair sentences, I’m not shocked one bit by this.

      Judges are just the right amount of rude as they need to not be looked at as some meek person who can be told whatever nonsense anyone feels like saying or behaving in court. That said, being unnecessarily rude is also true in some cases I've seen on video and judges have been subject to discipline for a rare few occasions too.

    Instead of higher security for them. How bout accountability and oversight for judges. Cameras in every room. Every word a judge says should be on tape if it's on the clock

    Some of them definitely asking for that. They dont understand defendants and the fact, that they frequently have nothing to lose. The most ridicouluos thing is expecting rescpect from somebody sentenced to death or life in prison.

    I understand why judges would want these types of protections but it would not be fair if judges were to get these types of protections but people who are not judges might not or would not or might not might not be given or might not be able to afford the same protections. Judges get paid enough money to be able to install security cameras and hire private security for or at their homes for themselves.

    Its difficult for everyone to remove emotion from certain events. Some events enrage us all, some enrage a few, some a lot. Its hard to remain emotionless, but thats what we expect from judges. So when a judge gves the max term for a minor crime and adds personal comments, they invite retribution. Just give the term leave it at that. Commenting on early release for good behaviour is all they should do.

      Judges are ordinary people, living ordinary lifes when they are not in a courtroom. Their Identity isn´t kept secret. Investigate a little and you can find out where basically any person lives. What makes you think a judge in the united states if "by far" safer than judges in "third world countries" ?

    I am NOT for violence/breaking the law.. but I am surprised more ppl haven't delivered on their threats to judges. I would think their would be more deaths and snipes/etc toward judges b/c people hold grudges. For a long time. Ppl are sick and crazy! I would NOT want to be a judge. Grudges against judges.
