This must have been quite embarrassing for the deputies that were supposed to be protecting the judge.

Brave, honest, ethical and strong judge. She PROVED that she gave him the exact same sentence she had already decided to give BEFORE he attacked her. She did not change his sentence at all. One fine woman! He, on the other hand, is a first class cretin…
His attacking a judge went unpunished then. Not ethical at all.

I'm so tired of mental illness being used to invalidate his crimes. His mental illness does not invalidate what he did and it doesn't mean he should get a lesser sentencing.
Mental health may not be your fault but it is your responsibility to seek help from community services or even the courts if thats the situation you're in.
and even with mental sickness you know right or wrong.

@DarieusFlorence-fv3xc Why would school shooters be any different? Mental illness/sickness effects all types of people and unless someone is right in the throws of a complete psychotic break, then they know or at least have a good idea, of right vs wrong.
Glad the judge is ok.
She is not okay !😅
This is the kind of guy that would physically hurt another person without hesitation yet he’d be the first to scream that his life matters.
The first to cry victim while attacking the innocent. Yet you see a lot of idjits defend this fool based on the color of his skin. We live in an upside down world.
It sure would be nice if people didn’t feel the need to bring race into everything. 🤦♀️🤦♀️🤦♀️

You think a Judge should be protected from the start ... Especially when your sentencing criminals DUH!!!!!!
We as people tend to get too comfortable
Why? They put their pants on the same way every else does.
Probably cutting the budget hoping what happened would never happen.
@@robmullin1128what does that have to do with anything? The point is that people may become overly agitated in a setting like that. It should be common sense to have the people in a court, ESPECIALLY the judge, be protected from harm.

This type of security should be made available on a case by case basis. Most defendants dont do this bs. They would attack their lawyer before they even make it anywhere near the judge. This was definitely a rare event.@@worthyedge9307
The young clerk's instinctive heroism is phenomenal! so glad he was quick off the mark in his reaction to what must have been a scary situation but he didn't hesitate. He threw himself to ward off the attack with no thought for his own safety but to protect the judge. Waytgo!! give the clerk a raise and promotion to head of security!!
I have to admit that after watching this loser in court last time I laughed when he shuffled in with his clanking chains, spit mask, mitts and armed police. After that BS speech he made last time I'm glad he wasn't able to say a word this time.
Lol got a lot of anger and rage pent up in that small frame of yours
I admire the judge in her professionalism and strength to face her attacker. I hope the courts make it safer for those working in the courthouse. They do such an important job.

I struggle with mental illness. Bipolar 1 with mixed features and psychotic episodes. I have never been violent. There are very few exceptions when it comes to violent crimes being directly caused by mental illness. Most of the time, it is just people trying to get off the hook because they have a mental illness. And it' not because the criminal had an incapacitated ability to reason.
That’s how men manipulate women they abuse. They know how to sweet talk to get their way.

His "outburst" got him 11 new charges with one being attempted murder.

No sign of his mental illnesses when he was speaking to the judge last time. IMHO his mental illnesses have nothing to do with what he did and why. He was p^^^^d off that she said he had had been excused enough for his behaviour and it was time for real consequences. His lack of self control and entitlement are due to a personality flaw, not mental illness.

19-48 Months... and he probably would have only served less than 19 months. But now hes looking at YEARS.
That was his original sentence, 19-48, for his previous conviction. She didnt add anything for what he did. That will come at a later date.

If they stack it, as in have him serve consecutively instead of concurrent, which they can because you are talking about multiple victim, as in he didn't wail on the same person 7 times, instead he started 7 different fight with 4 different person, so they can at least stack it up into 4.
