Mai seems like an absolute delight. I can't argue with her choice of the Stratos, just a savagely beautiful pure rally beast. I also can't argue on the Forester either, for a dad-mobile its a real performance sleeper. I have to say I'm really enjoying this podcast. Very halpy its not the usual industry faces talking about reference numbers and lug widths. Long may it continue.
The Seiko that her father was most famous for was none other than ref.6139, nicknamed the Seiko Pogue. Tetsu wore the blue dial version, which was also worn by F1 driver Francois Cevert.
The 1969-1971 Seiko 6139-6000 SpeedTimer, to be exact - which should be called the "Ikuzawa" before its called the "Cevert," ha! The former is/was a far better driver, as well as a Seiko spokesman at the time, to boot
Brilliant episode - Fabulous creative lady and Andrew ain’t bad at his job either ! ❤

Mai, you need to show footage of the Stratos in action, splitting crowds to Andrew so he can really appreciate what people feel about the Stratos
