Not only that this millet recipe will help you Get Your Daily Dose Of Vitamin B12. Traditionally it’s called Ragi / Nachini / Finger Millet Ambali. I have given it my twist by using chana dal with ragi to make it slightly high in protein.
Ragi is one of the healthiest options available owing to Ragi's rich calcium, iron, and antioxidant content. Also, Ragi is a lot more easy to digest for your gut. As time taking as it may be, it is definitely worth all the effort. Also, what it needs is just some amount of pre-planning.

I have kodo millet ambli everyday.
Dry roasting the ragi powder and then preparing it would enhance the taste.
Check out Dr Khadar...he warns not to eat same millet daily but to change amongst the 5 positive millets.

Hi mam.. instead of besan, can we use sattu powder in this recipe?
It's famous down the south it is call Ragi ganji or Ambili we offer as prasadam to God. But we don't add any spices. With out besan only with Ragi you can make this recipe. Once it's done you can simply add Masala Chas (butter milk) and drink directly it will help in weight loss, gives energy and nutrients as well.

@@PradeepKumar-po1zi this is mostly called lactic fermentation. Airborne are mostly yeast and molds which is not desirable. Most vegetable in raw form contains enough lactic bacteria to ferment. But in this case boiling may destroy all native lactic bacteria.
@@plsingh2086 dosa batter ferments because it is soaked in water in raw form not cooked. The method shown will have zero fermentation

Yes actually ragi is very good for diabetic patients and it can also stabilize blood sugar levels upto some extent. My dad and mom consume it for breakfast very frequently. Both are diabetic and bp patients
Ragi in the form of malt is not good for diabetics..you can take ragi in other forms like ragi roti or dosa
