For me, there are only 2 ways to reduce stress:
    1. Praying
    2. Getting things done
Little explanation for if you dont know:
Im muslim so when we pray, we take different positions and they have been scientifically proven to have health benefits. So that's for my body, and the talking to God part is for my heart. 5 times each day 💕

I m not Muslim but I do meditate and pray 💜☺
And yes it really feels better when you talk or you know just connect with the divine energy💜💜

Meditation helps me so much. I didn’t even realize how much until we went away for the weekend and I was out of my usual schedule and didn’t meditate for a few days. I noticed a difference in how I felt and dealt with stress. It is a daily practice and I’ve recently started to do it twice daily now.
I use essential oils to diffuse and certain scents calm me.

Thank you, you are gorgeous. I know how painful it is to have anxiety. I used to have a hard time with it. I tried to meditate, breathing in and out, trying to calm my mind. and try to find something that keeps you from thinking about your worries especially listening to the sounds of the atmosphere It will help the brain focus on the sound. So I try to remember what kind of sound I like and which one helps me. Until I started making videos like this myself in hopes of helping others. Please open your mind and listen.

I never actually attempted to deep belly breathe until watching this video just now. And honestly I feel like I can actually feel my breath expand in my lungs… for the first time in years. I know that probably sounds so crazy because we all have to breathe every day to live! But I have been so stressed out for years, taking these shallow breaths and always feeling like I’m going to faint. I never have genuinely tried meditation… I honestly don’t think know how. But the idea that it can really help remove some of these unnecessary stressors (memories or feelings) from my body, well it really makes me want to believe it… I mean can meditation really do that? Because I’ve been suffering for years with things that are either not mine to be stressing about or things that are in the past and need to move on, you know what I mean? Anyway, this video has helped me more than I ever even knew. I’m glad this popped up on my feed. Definitely following & subscribing!

I used to stress eat a lot too. It was unconscious sometimes. I'd just find myself eating...I don't stress eat anymore. what had me ultimately get totally free from the pattern was addressing it at a deeper level.

My life has changed and I currently live in a less clean neighborhood. From a different perspective and in addition to these wonderful techniques, some things I do to relieve stress are acknowledging vermin when I see them, understanding that it is not my fault and I am keeping my apartment as clean and being as hygienic as I can, and letting go of that stress; feeling empathy for other people here- the lost, the loud, the addicted- knowing that life is not linear and hopeful that they can get back up as I am trying to; and taking much more gratitude in the times of peace in this neighborhood, grateful I was raised not only against gang activity but understanding how not to provoke.

JNeal, Reduce negative thoughts. Its quite simple with a litlle patience and determination. Your breath is directly related to your mind [brain] causing negative thoughts-anxiety For a relaxed life sit on a chair, back erect, hands on lap with palms upwards, eyes closed, be still and observe your natural incoming--outgoing breath at the entrance of the nostrils for around 10-15 minutes or more. Let thoughts come. Slowly negative thoughts will reduce and relax the mind. Whenever you are free during the day or night before sleep sit or lie down still for a few minutes and observe your breath. Feel the stillness within you. Being still reduces negative thoughts. Make it a habit. Do the above meditation daily to have a good life. Best wishes and prayers. Shyaaam Sir. -Counsellor.

Thank you Mona for sharing your video on stress and anxiety💜💜 It was really helpful. I learn so much from you! And actually the meditation that works best for me is Transcendental Meditation. I didn’t even know that’s what it was called until I saw your video. I like to just sit in a quiet area and just meditate. Sometimes while meditating I turn on my little water fountain for relaxation. TD meditation allows me to realize what kinds of thoughts are running through my mind and which thoughts are the ones that are sorta disturbing me or stressing me out. 💜💜
