Let me fix that for you..... "You can't think of dying when the bottles your best friend and now its....." I grew up on Skid Row, was my favorite band in 8th grade.@@uttasyda9746
His solo stuff is really good too I'm alive, kicking & screaming, All my friends are dead, Temptation, etc. Sebastian is my 2nd favorite singer of all time almost tied with Amy Lee at first lol.
Sebastian just had that voice. It was a Rock voice, it was nasally and pitchy at times but that dude could make you FEEL the emotion connected to a song. He was a ROCK STAR.
The solo in this song is absolute perfection, it fits so perfectly in to the theme of the song and the vibe of the entire piece. Not a solo that is there just for the sake of having a solo there, it does what a solo should do, enhance the entire piece!

*Skid Row - "Wasted Time", "In A Darkened Room", and "Quicksand Jesus" are absolute musts to check out (if you haven't already of course). Sebastian's voice is amazing, beautiful, powerful, emotional, raw, and any other positives you can think of.* ❤🤘🤘🤘
I’m almost 42 years old and have heard this song so many times, but that “I love you” always makes me catch my breath. They don’t make music like this anymore.
This might be one of the best songs I've ever heard. It's truly amazing the way the music blends seamlessly with the vocals. But Sebastian Bach's vocals on this song are perfection! That last note he carries for like 10 seconds, are you serious??? Love it!
Skid Row were incredible! The next album after this "Slave To The Grind" from start to finish is a masterpiece! They were all the right ingredient together to make Skid Row what it was. \m/
You should totally check out Skid Row's "Wasted Time" - a vocal masterclass, written about their friend Steven Adler, the original drummer of Guns'N'Roses and his addiction...Also check "Quicksand Jesus", "Monkey Business" and "In a darkened room" by them...
Loved your reaction. Skid row is one of the most underrated bands of all time. They were amazing. Sebastian's voice was one of the best one's out there.
Aileen, recently I have been going through some serious things forcing me to re-evaluate my life. Watching your reaction to this song took me way back to my teenaged years. I could not hold back the tears remembering how I felt the first time I heard this song. I kind of felt the song was speaking to my younger self….thank you for sharing this experience. ❤️
The days of the power ballad, screaming leads and a singer that could crush your soul. I love watching people hear the last part of this one for the first time.
I love watching first-timers to music like this. I grew up with music like this. The 80's 'Big-Hair Bands'... They taught us that... Sometimes we're happy. Sometimes we're sad. Sometimes we're mad. Sometimes we're right. Sometimes we're wrong. How we feel changes ever five minutes. We aren't perfect, but we can love someone else regardless. That's what makes us beautiful, our beautiful imperfections. I really hope you enjoy this, and get to appreciate other great music from these time periods.
Being 24 years old my parents got me into some great music. 18 and Life and I Remember You are two of my favorite songs from Skid Row, glad you got to listen to these songs ❤

Sebastian Bach, the singer, has an incredible voice. So good that he was lead in least 2 Broadway musicals, one of which was Jeckyll & Hyde. He's still around and singing, rocking hard.
Sebastian Bach really was a treasure. He was way before my time but I grew up with my pops and this is what he listens to still to this day. His voice made me emotional depending on my mood. Very few artists are able to do that.
Aileen, your reaction to 'I Remember You', is THE BEST on the net... A lot of us can relate to your reaction first time listening to it in the 90s.... 😊
It's a fantabulous song and album. My personal recommendations for Skid Row would be "Youth Gone Wild" and "18 and Life". Phenomenal songs, and thank you for doing some awesome music from my youth.
I was in high school when this came out. It's difficult to describe how huge this song was. All the guys loved Skid Row in general, and all the girls loved this song. It was huge. Got so much radio play everyone started hating it after a while. But it really is a beautiful song. A similar song, if you haven't heard it yet, is Fly to the Angels, by Slaughter. Came out in the same time period.
I was in high school too. I totally agree, Mark Slaughter had a fabulous voice! Jani Lane from Warrant too! “Uncle Toms Cabin” is a great song. Back when singers could sing, before auto tune killed real music!

Of all the hair band ballads from the 80's this is the one I come back to the most. The vocals are so kick-ass that it touches you every time. Plus Sebastian Bach outed himself as a huge Rush fan so I have that much more respect for him.
I just wanted to give you an update on my last message. There is just a lot of scammers sliding into “Reactors” DMs acting like the “ Reactor”. But the one I was warning you about is NO MORE!! Great song! Done beautifully by a great band from the 80s. Sebastian Bach sung that song among others they've done beautifully! It's one of my favorite 80s ballads! Reminds me of some great days and memories!
Sebastian Bach had the most powerful and soulful vibrato. I heard from a good source that the producer pushed him so hard during the recording of this album, where Sebastian kept running out of the studio crying because he was pushed to his limits. I watched a few of your videos and this one made me subscribe. I shared your emotions while you were listening. I’m a touring sound engineer btw -Navajo Nate AZ-
I love how passionate you are about certain parts, or vocals of the songs. I've heard this song countless times, but watching you react to it brought me back to the first time I heard it. I appreciate you, and have subscribed!

My first time to your channel. Seen a lot of other reaction videos. It made me smile watching this as Skid Row is one of my favs from the 80s. You have great taste!
Thank you for taking me back to those years. I rmbr recording this song off the radio and playing this on the cassette every night. I was in love with Sebastian Bach 🥹 In my 40s now, indulging in kpop 😂 but rock bands was where it all started for me.
Great review of a great song. I haven't listened to that for awhile but it takes me right back to those days when it was fresh and new. I remember listening to skid row on the rock radio stations in Orlando back in high school in my old car that only had an am/fm radio. Thanks for the memories 🤟
Love your react to this song (7 months later... :p). At the bridge (middle), I really like the way Sebastian Bach hands off the note to the lead guitar solo (Scotti Hill), and then Scotti hands off the end of his solo back to Sebastian. They do it again after Sebastian's crazy vocals at the end of the song. Very melodic and memorable, it makes both the vocals and the lead guitar stand out. Thanks for the react!
Skid Row 18 and life is another amazing song. Sebastian Bach had one of those iconic voices no one could touch

Sebastian Bach is one of the all time great rock singers. Epic vocal range from gentle lows to face melting highs.
Scotti and Snake are vastly underappreciated guitarists - their skills are off the charts and have written some absolutely timeless solos.

Found them, reported them and they will not be bothering your channel again!! Oh and I can’t even count number of times I’ve watched this reaction from you, it’s my ALL TIME FAVORITE! Your smile just makes my heart melt. Thank you for that! Needed it today. Tomorrow is 6 year anniversary of my oldest daughter’s passing. Tiffeny(RIP) Daddy loves you!!💙😇🥲
For sure 80s. Loved it. And the way the acoustic and electric guitar blend is spectacular!
ABSOLUTELY NO ONE BRINGS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MUSIC TO ALL YOUR FOLLOWERS THE WAY YOU DO DARLIN OWN IT YOUR A NATURAL 👍
I love your appreciation of the music that we grew up with! The ballads of the 80s were so beautiful and amazing! I personally believe that the 80s were one of the best generations with music in multiple genre's.
@Aileen… the richness of your expressions when you react to the music that I love is so incredibly rewarding. It’s like I’m experiencing these songs again for the first time through you. So: thank you, thank you, thank you 🙏🏻 Simply put… you get it. Please consider doing “Wasted Time” by Skid Row next… for so very many reasons. The voice, the guitar, the message, and the raw emotion… you will be blown away. Much love. -Gary
One of my favorite guitar solos of ALL TIME... SUCH RAW EMOTION 🥹😳
I’m a touring sound engineer btw -Navajo Nate AZ-
Such a timeless song!
You describe it exactly how I see it great job! 🎸
I love how passionate you are about certain parts, or vocals of the songs. I've heard this song countless times, but watching you react to it brought me back to the first time I heard it. I appreciate you, and have subscribed!
I was born in 1973. I grew up in the 70's century and lived in the 80s as a teen. Welcome to my Era on beautiful music. Thank you for enjoying a great Era of music.
I’ve always been nuts about the guitar solo and its tone. It sounds like an angel drifting in the sky and just discovered its newfound wings!
I haven't heard that song in years. Boy, it gave me goosebumps, got me right in my feelers 😂
Skid Row blew my mind in 1989 my senior year in high school. Its good to see they are still blowing peoples minds all these years later.
That guitar solo still gives me the chills. Scotti Hill is the man! ❤
