I've been a skid row fan for a long time, and If you're looking for a couple more excellent choices to react to I would suggest the songs, monkey Business or creepshow these are a little more on the heavier faster side, a little more gritty. Also you could check out the songs quicksand Jesus or wasted time those are a little closer to what you listened to with I remember you. All of these songs will have great examples of the type of performance and skills you would be looking for and enjoy hearing and reacting to. Hope to see them on your channel soon.
I grew up in the eighties and that was a great era for rock and metal. Here's a few other bands and songs from that time that you will like. 1. White Lion " When the Children Cry" 2. Tesla " Love Song" 3. Steel Heart "Never Let You Go"
Sebastian Bach is still out there singing. He is not with Skid Row anymore. Since you likes this song you should take a listen to She's Gone by STEELHEART
I"ve been obsessively watching Sebastian' reactions over the last couple days and there's so MANY vocal coaches who have analyzed his songs, his voice, his performance, his SKILLS as a vocalist and every single one has absolutely nothing negative to say.. they ALL adore his talent and skills. Everything he does with his voice, on each song, is deliberately placed in order to generate the most emotion out of each note.. holy moly that's some connect, there. Takes us all on a wonderful ride. I'm so glad he's still singing his heart out; he was designed and meant to sing.. xo
I was 21 years old when “I Remember You” was released, Sebastian Bach’s voice is amongst the best in the history of Rock. Time to induct Skid Row into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame 🏆🤘🤘
@@Maggimae2367 They had about 3-4 good years before Grunge took over. I guess it beats nothing, but they could've gone longer had they started a bit sooner, I believe.
I was 17 in 1989 when this came out and it still hits me today. I think from watching you react that you agree with your people about Skid Row and this song. It really is a timeless classic.
It's great to see reaction videos pulling these amazing performances out of the archives for younger people. Here's a few more in the same era to keep you going, some obvious and others deeper dives. All have lots to talk about: Fallen Angel, Poison; Cum on Feel the Noise, Quiet Riot; I Will Be There, Glass Tiger; Don't Treat Me Bad, FireHouse; Patience, Guns 'n Roses; Kiss Me Deadly, Lita Ford; and Fox on the Run, Sweet.
My favorite part of Sebastian’s singing this song is when he growls “OH…YEAH!” right at the end. I also like his ability to sing with “anger” in his voice. He is angry that his wife has died. Most people don’t even get that she died. I don’t know how they miss it. The guy is walking around and several times throughout the song he peeks into a cemetery. I will remember my Lady. Our first date was on her 16th Birthday in 1982. We were married in 1985, and now she has been taken from us at just 58. 💔❤️✝️😞
Sorry for big words, but i love You're doing a reaction to this song , Sebastian Bach's singing is so amazing, and so is the guitar solo; Thank you for Your reaction! ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ i love that You like this rock music and Your own music, You are so great ❤❤❤❤❤
Sebastian. Bach is a Canadian theatrical theater singer who was discovered by a manager who made a demo tape and sent it to schedule. Who was looking for a singer in the 1980s and the end, was discovered by the big hair band Bon Jovi and got him a Sin 2 a record deal and help producing some of their first songs and even open for them on their first tour. They were really big overseas and like Japan and Germany and Europe. The band split up and yes, the Boston box still sings to this day. He's not as good but he's still a great singer
This song isn’t your typical power ballad. In this one the girl, his wife, died. It’s odd when your wife or loved one dies, how it affects the songs that you listen to. Songs that you liked to listen to before now are meaningless. My wife passed away suddenly on August 9, 2024. This is one of the few songs that I can really relate to. The ones where you’re begging your girl to come back don’t fit anymore. Sadly, that’s most of them. 😞
Skid Row was one of the first bands I was ever into. A return to form after the era’s heavy makeup and spandex. It was all about their rocking songs and Sebastian’s killer singing.
Now you know why my bedroom had his pictures all over it!😅❤ Sebastian Bach was everything girl!!!😂❤ and yes, he's still got the hair, and doing his thing 😊
I think most bands had their moments with the perfect solo for one of their songs. White Lions "When the Children Cry" is another one. Cinderella, and the song long cold winter. Those are just two off the top of my head. There's many more. The interesting thing about skid row to me was that the solo for in a darkened room sounds flat and not quite on pitch. It's beautiful, but it stands out to me as just Slightly off pitch. It's very interesting.
@7:56 on the last "I remember" before Sebastian goes into his long high I rememberrr youuuuu. You can hear a background vocal just underneath that says "I remember". That's Jon Bon Jovi.. He was hanging out in the studio when they recorded this and said "Hey, can I be on your record" and they said sure, so Jon walked in and did that one little part.
I'm old and I had the pleasure to see this Skid Row Line-Up live. Sebastian Bach has really an outstanding and versitile voice. He's sang Jekyl & Hyde at Broadway as well. and had smal reccurring role in the TV show "Gilmore Girls" Unfortunately he left the band afte rthe third album. Both he and the band are still active. He*s 56 now and his voice is not exactly like in his youth, but still amazing :)

I love watching people hear BAZ for the first time and just be as blown away now as we all were then !👊🏼🎸 He’s still singing , he’s older of course but still got some range not like this but still great.
First two albums from Skid Row are all must-hear songs. It's enviable and frustrating how Sebastian Bach does these amazing things with his voice over those long phrases (his trademark) so effortlessly. I love to hate him. ;)
Now you gotta do "wasted time", & "Quicksand Jesus", they really showcase Sebastian's extraordinary vocal capabilities! 😊❤ Also, "18 & life" is another great Skid row classic! Great reaction, thank you, see you on the next one.🎉
Talk about his voice range, please react to their other song, Wasted Time... really a very emotional song, and you can hear his even longer range of voice..

So, Jon Bon Jovi started another band and named it Bon Jovi but him and dave stayed friends so when DAve started writing songs for other bands as a group called skid row bon jovi told him to let him know when he gets a whole band and wants a record deal. Bas just released a new album called "The Child Within The Man", which is really good. Skid Row with their revolving door of singers released their latesl album in 2022 called "The Gang's All Here" in 2022, which is OK IMO. Nice reaction. Peace!

Sebastian Bach is one of the greatest rock vocalist of all time.
Back when they recored to tape and there was not auto tune. Singers had to SING back then.
That guitar solo is perfection. The whole song is really.
Back in the day, Bach was simply untouchable as a singer ❤
Sebastian Bach!
Bach was only about 19 years old when this song was recorded. Amazing voice.

Yes indeed
They’re biggest problem is this album came out in ‘89. By ‘90 grunge took over the music scene and hair metal was done.
