"Wasted Time" is an absolute beast of a vocal, Seb gives a masterclass in it of passion and pain - the song was written for their friend, original Guns'n'Roses drummer, Steven Adler, who was heavily addicted at that point (and hence why he got fired from G'n'R, too f*cked up to play) as a plea to get clean.

The question was asked, "What is this song and video about?" And I kinda recall Sebastian and Rachel saying something along these lines: "It's a love that for reasons unspecified, in the song and video. Came to an end, at least for one person. I met the love of my life as a teenager. Years later, we reconnected & started dating. It was a crazy, passionate, all-consuming relationship. We had a son together & tried to make it work for many years. Sadly, it just wasn't meant to be. We remained close friends & saw each other through many hard times. He passed away on January 3, 2019 at the age of 46. This song & a couple of others always remind me of him. When I need a good cry, this one is definitely on the playlist! 💔❤️

They definitely were as big if not bigger then most in that generation,they just went their separate ways, don't forget they came along when that genre was declining and grunge took over

This a rebellious song about street kids clawing their way up in the world and making their own way. So the band name name makes a lot of sence!

This song is about loss. We know. It could be about losing a loved one, like a friend, girlfriend, wife, etc in death. In connection with that, it can lead to the loss of a "previous life." I don't mean being reincarnated or being someone in "a past life." I mean like in the case of this character, for some reason, ends up falling on very hard times. Therefore, depression issues, financial issues, etc. lead to a loss of identity into ruining someone's life. Like that line from Guns N Roses song "Yesterdays" says "'Cause yesterday's got nothin' for me." So his status of being homeless and burning the pictures of the great past times means nothing anymore. Just painful memories.
Skid Row- classic example of a band who had the world at their feet and just blew it (literally). First two albums are classic American rock but a little grittier. And also the ONLY support band I have ever seen an entire arena stand up for (supporting Motley Crue at Birmingham NEC late 80s).

I seen them when Sebastian was young. Wonderful voice. Wow. I’m not being mean but he really blew up his vocal cords. Years later it was ant the same. At the time of this video…….they were amazing and powerful.

I mean, yeah, the music and the vocals are outstanding but the visuals were what caught my attention back in the day. It still chokes me up a bit when this song comes on....recalling the video.

The burning of the picture represents letting go of the past and moving on with life. He'll never forget her but it's time to move on.
That is the sound of hos symbols. Drummer has about 10 foot pedals. His arm was amputated in a car accident. I've seen these guys 3 times in concert and they absolutely bring the house down.

In their song YOUTH GONE WILD, there's a line directed at a rich business man that says, "HI, MAN, THERE'S SOMETHING YOU OUGHTA KNOW... I TELL YA PARK AVENUE LEADS TO SKID ROW!" This a rebellious song about street kids clawing their way up in the world and making their own way. So the band name name makes a lot of sence!
This is an 80 s band, they did not particularly advocate for the homeless. This band had members from my hometown Middletown, NY and the guitarist Scott Hill's uncle was my English teacher at Middletown High School.

This song is about loss. We know. It could be about losing a loved one, like a friend, girlfriend, wife, etc in death. In connection with that, it can lead to the loss of a "previous life." I don't mean being reincarnated or being someone in "a past life." I mean like in the case of this character, for some reason, ends up falling on very hard times. Therefore, depression issues, financial issues, etc. lead to a loss of identity into ruining someone's life. Like that line from Guns N Roses song "Yesterdays" says "'Cause yesterday's got nothin' for me." So his status of being homeless and burning the pictures of the great past times means nothing anymore. Just painful memories.
Skid Row- classic example of a band who had the world at their feet and just blew it (literally). First two albums are classic American rock but a little grittier. And also the ONLY support band I have ever seen an entire arena stand up for (supporting Motley Crue at Birmingham NEC late 80s).

The first two Skid Row records, this track off the debut and the second, Slave to the Grind (gets harder) are both great albums. They kind of lost me after that, but great memories of seeing these guys live in the late 80s.
Hairband ballads are the best! Greatful to have grown up during this gen x beauty!
