WTF?!! The 70s and 80s were the greatest time to be alive!! I feel sorry for the "social media" generation. You guys got robbed of a great childhood.
🤘
70’s and 80’s were the two greatest decades for rock music EVER!!!
64 to 94 for me, the Beatles to the end of Grunge. 30 mahnigicent years in music we will never see again
Don't be silly,,1969 through 1979 Led Zeppelin Era.... But,,,,,1979 through 1989 was a great era also... Van Halen / Guns & Roses
@@tomkelly8774 for me, 1964 starting with the Beatles to 1994 and the end of Grunge was the best 3 decade run of great rock music from 100s of excellent artists, we got a great song and album almost every week for 30 years, we'll never see or hear the likes of it again.
It was the greatest era for rock. Anyone who says otherwise isn't versed on the subject.
Totally agree. I'm 44 and would do anything to go back to these days
I was lucky enough to be in a couple of bands back then, a lot of great material to cover…. Great times……
It was the 70’s, but it’s subjective.
Depends on your age, however, without ALL of the eras before this, we wouldn't have had it. I came of age during this era, but I still like the 60s 80s and 80s a bit more.
I would include the 70's 🤘
People who were in their teens and early twenties when the hair bands were dominating the music scene would say they were the best times for music and those guys were super cool - the haters were just jealous of them coz they were making money, getting all the attention, looked sexy and attracted all the best looking girls. These were the days when it was actually fun to go to a concert - there was energy and excitement and people could actually dance to the music. The hair bands were cool and the music was quality. Rock Stars were and always will be the REAL stars to me.
That era was so fun! I saw many of these bands with nearly 10 thousand other fans and it was awesome every single time
For me at that time, he was the most gorgeous thing I’d ever seen. I was so in love with him. 😅
I was 13. Perfect age to have this pretty boy singing to me. 😂
My recently passed identical twin brother (11-17-2023) and myself used to play this on acoustic and electric guitars..Brings back such sweet memories..6 months ago I lost my best friend and brother..R.I.P Rich!!😢💔
🤘cheers to your brother & the memories 🤘
@@Krow-go3ps Thank you, it's been pretty Hard
In the '80s we still had real bands and real music. EVERY week you would hear one or two new all time favorite songs. That was the soundtrack to my life. Thank you for understanding. 🥰
Hair metal band theme yes! We can find some more guilty pleasure songs for you Day One!
70’s and 80’s rock, hard rock, hair and, and heavy metal are the best ever, nothing else will be better, ever! I am an eyewitness! Led Zeppelin, Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Black Sabbath, AC/DC, Def Leppard, Judas Priest, Scorpions, Iron Maiden, Dokken, Queesryche, Queen, Guns N Roses, Rush, Triumph, Boston, Ted Nugent, Van Halen, Blue Oyster Cult, Motley Crew, Quiet Riot, Krokus, Styx, Foreigner, etc, etc, etc.
Preach brother! Born in '71 and saw many of the bands you listed, live. Nothing has ever compared top those days!
@@thunderknuckles3623 exactly, I was born several years earlier than you and have seen many of these groups and others, I am so thankful to have been in that generation, glad to see informed people, thank you and Rock on!
Gotta include the best of them all, Journey.
@@JamesSteele-jb5km I like Journey, many good songs, but they would be in my top 15 maybe, thanks,
ratt
80's music best of all time
Sebastian put so much passion and emotion in his performances. The girl that’s being remembered and sung about in this song DIED. The guy in the video is peering through a cemetery fence a couple times at her grave. 🥲 It’s sad!
That's ominous,my identical twin brother and best friend passed exactly 6 months ago tomorrow ,we used to play this on guitars together and critique each other's playing..Thank you for the Memories Beautiful young lady ❤💔
Skid Row truly an underrated band.No weaknesses❤
The best rock/hard rock/heavy metal was from the mid 60s to the early 90s and that includes the "hair metal" era. Sure there's been some decent stuff since that 25+ year time period, but as a whole.....not even in the same universe. The overall vibe of that quarter century was that of a non-stop party and those of us born at the right time were lucky to have lived it.
Yes to hair bands! Angela, I love your videos and your brilliant smile and kind personality! Thank you for what you do to bring a little happiness into our lives.✨🍀🦋🎶
80’s had the best rock music!
Great reaction! Check out 'Wasted Time' by Skid Row. Amazing vocal performance by Sebastian. Great guitar work too!
You'd probably like "Love Song" by the band Tesla from the same time period as this.
Haha I just posted about them in the comments too.
And Y&T from the same area of california.
Yes hair band theme GOO!
I was senior in high school in 1989, this was played at all the graduation parties.
Your taste in music knows no bounds! Keep up the awesome work❤❤
Love your insights on this song Angela. I’m 65 so I definitely remember this being on the radio but have only in last few years begun to appreciate it. Sebastian Bach’s voice was something special
Late 70's all of the 80' best era's for music
Oh come on ding dong...70 - 75 was fantastic also!!!!!!
@@michaelasay8587 maybe a little of it but not very much douche
Shine on beautiful sister 1 Woman want to know their love and worth is in the measure they give !
You’re awesome. That era, 84-91 was awesome with amazing bands and music
Another great power ballad by Poison is, "I won't forget you babe." Lesser known.
Remember back when music was actually played on instruments, songs had significant meaning, and singers didn't use auto-tune? Pepperidge Farms remembers.
Some songs to listen to: "Don't Close Your Eyes" by Kix, "Cherry Pie" by Warrant, "Pour Some Sugar on Me" - Def Leopard, "Something To Believe In" by Poison, "You Give Love A Bad Name" by Bon Jovi, "Round and Round" by Ratt, "House of Pain" by Faster Pussycat, "Signs" by Tesla, "Still of the Night" by Whitesnake, "Don't Know What You Got (Till It's Gone)" by Cinderella, "Wait" by White Lion, "The Ballad of Jayne" by L.A. Guns, "Smooth Up In Ya" by Bullet Boys, "Up All Night" by Slaughter, "Once Bitten Twice Shy" by Great White, "Love Is On The Way" by Saigon Kick, "Poison" by Alice Cooper, "Girlschool" by Britny Fox, "Seventeen" by Winger, "Edge of a Broken Heart" by Vixen, "Kiss Me Deadly" by Lita Ford, "To Be With You" by Mr. Big, "Still Loving You" by Scorpions.
That should get you started.
My first big show, they opened for bon Jovi in Hampton, VA
Hair band rock is a guilty pleasure
Sweetie the 1980s and the big hair bands one of the most amazing times the music I don't care what people say real musicians real singers they did it live can't say that about nobody today
Nothing guilty about taking pleasure in good music no matter what era and what style. This is a rock ballad for the ages and Sebastian Bach is one of the all-time great rock singers
Totally 80s fun and definitely a guilty pleasure vibe, they do have some good tunes as the hair band era was about to end as Grunge dominated the first half of the 90s. The 80s were a very fun time, no doubt, then the vibe in society at large changed in the 90s, a very different time. Try 18 and Life, the official video, if you have not seen it, it is a banger. Nice to see you again my dear, you always brighten my day. Enjoy! 🎵🎸🎤🎸🎶
That is a very good comment!
I love the hair metal era!
Seems like Skid Row brought out the rocker in Angela!lol So glad you're a fan. This is one of the best hard rock ballads ever.
70's and 80's where the greatest era of ROCK!!! Those who doesn't agree...wasn't ALIVE that time...Bands had real true talent..Great reaction!! Sister!! You gotta do another reaction of Skid Row's song "18 and life" and "Wasted Time " official music videos..another band would be Slaughter "Fly to Angeles " official music and Tesla "Love Song" acoustic five man band😊
I grew up in the 80's and love all the bands you said!! One hair band that a lot of people don't know about is a group called Wildside and one of the great sons is Just Another Night!! Check it out and I believe you will like it a lot!!
Sebastian was only about 21 years old here. Great band and I wish they lasted longer
Can’t beat those times
the lucky ones were the people that grew up in this era. I went to many of the hair bands concerts before they even made it big. Another great band from the late 70s thats still playing today is Y&T.
Love this song ❤❤❤❤
One of the first bands I was ever a fan of. At the time I was a bit too young to get how excellent the singing was. But all these YT reaction videos have let me know I wasn’t paying enough attention.
My favourite girl and my favourite band , this was awesome
First time watching you. I Love you, just named all my Fav bands, mind you im 52.
The Scorpions "Still loving you" is a killer ballad.
Give it a listen.
This song gets me all in the feels. Love it.
This was our "graduation song" ...everyone getting ready to go their separate ways...still get nostalgic when I hear it now
Once in a life time. Like nearly all VH.
as far as vocal control he was absolutely phenomenal!
Excellent reaction!!! Great song. Your hair is incredible too!!! Looking great!!!
Sebastian Bach was one of the best rock vocalists, period!
Try their songs 18 and Life and Youth Gone Wild
Bangalore Choir has a song called Loaded Gun it's fantastic
Your little smile and smirk when Sebastian is hitting the run at the end is all this reaction needs. It gave me chills to see that. You don't need to pause it and discuss it and overreact to it. Just to look on your face says enough
Towards the end, there's a backing vocal on the "I remember You" right before he goes into his I REMEMBAHH YOOUUUUUOOHHH YEAHHAEEEHAAA" part. Jon Bon Jovi was randomly in the studio where they recorded this and they asked him to add a background vocal to the track, so he did. @5:01
Hair Metal never left, it just moved to Japan and got even better.
Recommend watching Versailles Serenade
And
Aldious Re:Fire
70,and 80"s were the best try stryper,to hell with the devil 1987,steel heart,I'll never let you go,firehouse all great bands in the 80's,very well put about I remember you ,thank you for sharing
Some good vocals and guitar on this one and a good rocker -Colin Ward
Another great song by skid row called 18 and life
I always have loved the BIG HAIR BANDS......HECK YEAH....DO IT. Like you suggested Angela, Mötley Crüe, Poison, Aerosmith, Queen, AC/DC, The Who, btw, one of my favorites is, "We Don't Get Fooled Again" Deep Purple, song "Smoke On The Water" Kiss, Slaughter, Stryper, Ratt, Warrant, Cinderella, Bon Jovi and Def Leppard.....and there you go, Here's your playlist. A LOT of great songs came out of these bands...
Great reaction 👍.
Never get tired of the bands founder play guitar solos Scotty Hill!
awesome song
For me the late 70's and 80's are my favorite. For rock ballads no one beats Journey and Steve Perry IMO
This is now officially rock channel
Yes!! MOTLEY CRUE 🤘🏼🤘🏼🔥
I love 80's music, so much more soul and realness! Im originally from LA so am down for the hair band theme Angela!
80s rock music is the best. Guilty pleasure whatever who cares. Great decade for music.
Sebastian Bach had the best pipes in Hard Rock imo. I was 16 in 1989 and played the hell out of their self-titled debut album on cassette. Please react to more Skid Row. My favorite songs of theirs are Wasted Time, 18 and Life, I Remember You, Sweet Little Sister, and Youth Gone Wild (in that order).
Hi Angela from a U.K fan. Loving your honesty and charm. Would like to recommend for you Elton Johns TONIGHT (1986). The LIVE version in Sydney with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra. If you thought Tiny Dancer was 'epic' then this will knock your socks off!!
Best rock decade of all time!! Imo…
Warrant, Sometimes She Cries, cinderella don’t know what you got till it’s gone or nobody’s fool
Since you love hair metal bands and rock ballads. I highly recommend you check out the band Cinderella and their song Don’t know what you got? (Till it’s gone).
Hi, forgive me if I missed any comments regarding Sebastian Bach's opera performances. Jekyll & Hyde, Jesus Christ Superstar, Rocky Horror Picture Show. Yes, the '80s hair metal era was awesome .. Best wishes
Every Hair Band had to do at least one "ballad." In the vid, he shouldn't be burning her pictures, just put them away. There will come a time when he's much older that he'll WANT to remember.
Skid Row - Little Wing. It's a Hendrix cover but very good.
Muy favorite balad OF metal IS STILL LOVING YOU OF SCORPIONS ANOTHERS GROUPS WHITE SNAKE,IRON MAIDEN,DIO, HELLOWEEN.80 AND 90 THE BEST ROCK AND METAL 🇪🇦🎸🤘😘🆒🎵
Nothing wrong with a good rock ballad 😂
Guilty, guilty pleasure- dudes liked this song, too. I read a rock magazine profile once of Sebastian Bach which said he looked like he was "genetically engineered to be a rock star"! Another band with the same vibe- Tesla.
I agree I grew up in the 70s and 80s rock music myself being a 60s kid
They were a little past my time, but he's got some pipes.🤩
Excellent reaction you will love Wasted Time by Sid Row he hits hard in that one but yea hair bands👍 later beautiful.❤️
I'm game for a hair band theme, even a power ballad theme, I got suggestions lol.
Best Song
Please check out the Band Diesel and the song Sausalito Summer nights. You will jam to it😂
It was the very best era
In my opinion. The best 2 rock ballads are this 1 and queensryche. Silent lucidity
Check «Wasted Time» by Skid Row! One of the best vocal performances
How about Winger "Headed for a Heartbreak" ? I think you will like it.
For an 80s rock ballad, try Still Loving You, by Scorpions, if you haven't heard it. They are power ballad kings
🤟😎
😎👍
That song you mentioned that's your favorite ballad, I have no comment for! My favorite rock ballad is Journey singing Faithfully, and a close 2nd would be Van Halen with lead singer Sammy Haggar singing Love Walks In!
I would vote for grunge bands from the 90's like STP that I mentioned previously, Nirvana among many others! Ciao!
A late 80's classic! You will Love band Winger, song Headed For A Heartbreak!
Haha, yes, Winger! Forgot about them..
Cinderella nobody's fool live 1989 Moscow best version ever
Tom Keifer… another great lead singer …
You got to check out white line from the 80s that got a song called tell me
My order of best eras of music 80's, 70's, 60's, 90's, 50's.....and the worst 2000 to the present!
Please react to GUNS N ROSES - COMA. Long song, but one of the best (at least lyrically) I ever heard.
No choruses, long song, with deep meaning.
A little backstory: Axl Rose, the singer, overdosed (su!cide attempt) after fight with his gf (that was abusive btw, and he also had depression, basically child neglect and abuse (and past r@pe)) so he decided that he's outta here, and doctors tried very hard to bring him back to life (the voices in background are the very same doctors that saved his life).
Very important song to hear!
I sung this song back in 1988. STEVEN HARRIS DARN IT! But you know that don't you Angela cutie
Of course the 80 is the best I was a teenager in the 80s
