I saw this guy on a random night at a NYC comedy club. Probably a crowd of 30? And only me and one other woman were laughing. And the more he went on and no one else laughed, the more we were in tears at how put off everyone else was. Gave us a friendly nod when he was done, and shook his hand after. Comedic genius
God, he really is just so good and so good at spontaneous/situational moments.
Was this in Brooklyn? I saw him there and nobody showed, granted this was when the wildfire smoke was going on

Also good for birthdays, Valentine's Day, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Columbus Day, Boxing Day (only in Canada), Veteran's Day, President's Day, weddings, funerals, family reunions. All occasions, really. Ain't nobody don't like Joe Pera in his boxers.

Joe Pera is such a class act, watched his series during covid and found it beautiful and hilarious (in a subtle, slow manner) at the same time. His comedy special was also great, loved the bit where he takes the limitless pill. A real genius when it comes to the craft.
Meyers reads and works off Joe so well, it really does feel like he gets his comedy.

Seth’s great with anyone on his show but yes-he’s & Joe Pera are especially attuned…Love the moment in this where you see Seth decides *not* to add anything or…move on! Rare 😊
idk in the beginning there was a moment where Seth was truly at a loss for words (when Joe said Australians kick their newborns in the head) and had to glance at his notes to move on to the next bit

When he did the barns joke in his show, I shouted out, "hey that barn is down the street from my hometown in the finger lakes" and then Pera says they're barns in MI...and I adamantly turn to my husband and say, I swear to you that barn is down the street from my house..Pera's wrong..." and sure enough...well iykyk and I've never felt so satisfied to be right. Thank you, Joe, for that feeling...

It’s one of the most resplendent things that kept me sane during the pandemic and it’s totally confusing as to why it was cancelled considering what trash Adult Swim has kept afloat for years. It’s art and then comedy.
David Zaslav is the culprit. I'm sure if it were up to Joe we would've gotten many more seasons and a satisfying conclusion. Warner Bros Discovery as a whole is in debt anyways, just take new FLCL as an example, 3 episodes per season or, the new season of ATHF coming out later this year, they've only got 5 episodes, they need to recuperate money to make new projects and continuations come to fruition.
