It wouldn't work because dave's style is more story telling type stuff as opposed to old school joke telling. Someone could do an impression but they couldn't really emulate the style.

I love this show, I think Jimmy Fallon is a good host, yes he is awkward and his laugh isn't the greatest but I honestly think he is genuine. Its just that he is awkward so his laugh sounds awkward but his so talented.

I don't think it was scripted. It pretty much threw Jimmy the last couple of minutes. He was trying really hard to redeem himself by making fun of Jerry for saying, "Oh, the birthday clown." He was done. Jerry's the man.
