He is probably annoyed by Jimmy's lack of work ethic. Jimmy seems to take a shot of whatever he's drinking and walk out on stage.
@@yokie52 It seems like manly banter, to me.
I can honestly say that after 15 years of marriage "it depends" is by far the best answer you can give about your wife and your relationship with her
Willie Nelson's Grandmother did that to him too, she set out a picket line & tied him to it like he was a horse. "Now, go play. In this circle." LOL
Shame to any older man that retires their jeans!
Dan Seabreeze I love your facial hair
When you realize Jimmy has nothing to say ever and just repeats what his guests say.
That's a pretty good skill in Hollywood! Esp. as a talk show host. He is liked by everyone and nobody has any objection to cooperating with him..
Lol did you not actually watch the interview? He brought up tons of topics to talk about and even got around to Seinfeld's Netflix promotion. Jesus it's almost as if no one watches the show they just want to complain about Jimmy Falon.
So... why are you watching his show?
thewormzerjr you can’t interview Jerry Seinfeld
His "it depends" finisher was pretty good though.
Jimmy looked really uncomfortable...when Jerry kept saying “men our age” it reminded me of Carrie Bradshaw in the SATC 2 movie saying to Samantha “uh women who are NOT our age, shouldn’t be saying women our age” Jerry has 20 years on Jimmy! I don’t know why he’s talking like they’re both over sixty+ Jimmy’s too nice, but it would have been hilarious if he was like ‘speak for yourself old man!’ 😂
He didn't say "men of our age", he said "mature men like ourselves". And frankly Jerry looks incredible for his age.
Yeah but Jimmy is too stupid to realize that
jimmy is shit compared to jerry in looks and intelligence.
Well he did say ‘mature men’ not ‘men our age’... still.
It's uncomfortable anytime you're out of your league. Just sayin'... There were moments where Jerry was totally f**ing with Jimmy, and Jimmy was completely helpless.
"All Dad's dress in the style of the last good year of their lives" & "It depends." *comedygold 😂🤣
This is one of the funniest interview segments ever. I absolutely love it when theses two get together! And I will say this: Jerry and Jimmy have no sneaker game. They have many colorful pairs sneakers but no game! What happened to classic white? Or a simple stripe, or two or three? C'mon! They wear blah up top and all the excitement is at their feet! We're just staring at their feet!
I used to have a buddy who laughed at everything I said, without fail. He now hosts the Tonight Show.
@@VmQ2020 🤣
I bet Jimmy’s wife Nancy was pissed with the whole Nicole Kiddman bit 😂
What's that ???

11:46 - "it depends"
This is a genuine moment of comedians - comedy writers - riffing off each other and coming up with a great punchline on-the-fly.
People complain about Jimmy's "fake laugh", but you can always tell when he is genuinely happy and amused.
It was so perfect. It reminded me of Seinfeld where they would end an episode by bringing back a line that was used previously in the episode. Honestly genius by Jimmy to recall that from earlier and using it again. Timed to perfection.
Damn, Jimmy killed with that last one, hahahaha!
Diego Oliveira he did! Great set up and he took it to deliver. That’s great comedy.
It's the only thing he said that was actually funny. And he was still being pathetically gutless. Conan O'Brien would have unloaded on the Executive producers. He works have apologized afterwards, but he wouldn't have been so gutless add to not agree and run with Jerry's point.
jerry is slowly turning into matt lauer
Without the sexual harassment allegations.
Wow!! You are so correct! I completely didn’t realize that until just now!
No!
Minus the rape
Todd Garver he was raped?
I feel the same way about Jerry, the warmth and the horror. I love his humor but then I think if one was around him too long you would end up stabbing him with a ballpoint pen.
lwolf1952 can the pen write upside down
You are so right ... and Jerry would be nothing if not for Larry David writing the 'Seinfeld show' the show collapsed when Larry left ...
Gee, just the mere sight of him and the sound of his voice generally brings out violent tendencies in me...your patience is commendable.
I loved comedians in cars getting coffee, I slowly disliked jerry more as I watched the show lol
I hate how he is always saying that comedians are some special kind of humans, and that he can’t talk to normal people.
Just watching them just chatting is better than many other stand ups already. Big laughs
“All dads dress in the style of the last good years of their lives”. LMFAO.. right there is why Seinfeld is great.
And god, that statement is SO spot on.... (Source: me)
He's a piece of shit
@@ryandunnlives Get a life. He's brought laughter and entertainment to millions upon millions meanwhile you just hate on successful people over the internet. Who's the piece of shit again?
Jerry Seinfeld by himself is so so funny. Jerry Seinfeld with Larry David equals Comedy Genius......
Seinfeld is the tom brady to larry davids belichick. Lol
true
@@aliceshaw8265 jerry was like the 5th funniest person on his own show.
Seinfeld + Larry David + Me is comedy genius gold.
@@4c3fr3h1y I've never saw a better analogy. Underrated comment for sure
I disagree. I think men in all ages can rock jeans. Depends on the entire outfit. As with, you know....ALL types of clothing.
Exactly
I agree. If you take care of yourself and fit you can rock it at any age. Its the super skinny jeans that can look ridiculous or super baggy dad jeans.
Great chemistry between these two and a stellar punchline of and ending.
"it depends" is the best verbal emergency exit for questions you are too cowardly to answer.
but the answer is always yes
Or conversely one could say yes or no but either answer needs qualifying. Not all answers are black and white or fifty shades of gray. It’s tricky speaking for your spouse or explaining the details of why you answer one way or another especially on tv where time can’t be wasted unless you own the studio (which Jerry could buy)
Not quite. Not all questions are Yes or No types. So, It depends what type of question you're being asked.
Nobody loves Jerry Seinfeld as much as Jerry Seinfeld does.
I'm surprised anybody loves him at all. I think he sold his soul for success, it blows my mind somebody can be renowned just for being very loud and pompous. Oh wait we elected somebody based on that criteria, fuck.
Carlos Taylor true, but at least he has some achievements to support that attitude, we meet so many people on everyday life with the same attitude, but with nothing behind them
@@WubbyPunch Love is a strong word, but people should still appreciate that he has a knack for writing a joke. And blame capitalism for his wealth. He has close to a billion $$ because millions of people still watch those syndicated shows.
Carlos Taylor Just loud and pompous? Jerry is way more than that. Cedric The Entertainer is loud and pompous.
His local Porsche dealer does...
When Jerry Seinfeld invites you to do a 15 minute set on his show, you dont think about it
Seinfeld is such a treasure! I have never seen him in anything other than Seinfeld which is a national monument.
Turned my day around.
Those two are funny even more so together.
Well, you're half right. Fallon is just silly, not funny.
Its like watch a person talk to his crush
Jerry as an older man is still so funny to me
He’s my age but he looks a bit younger. Good for him.
Jimmy fallon and jerry seinfeld you can tell are good friends because jerry invited jimmy to a show with him and for the person who voiced as berry benson thats a high prestige
Anyone else notice the deep humming sound around 3:08 to 3:13 that's makes Jerry stop talking and look forward? Very subtle . Very strange.
Jimmy is a success because unlike, say, Jay Leno, he knows when the guests ought to be dominating the interview. You never feel like you’re watching someone play an away game on his show
Jimmy is terrible dude lol
@@ElGaby323 I don't think my statement discounts that truth.
Seinfeld is literally worth like a billion dollars but I love that he still just wants to do stand up comedy and make people laugh
if Jerry ends up being a judge on something I would follow the show to the seconds. The guy is soo straightforward and simple I love it.
Jerry knows how to control the flow and tempo of funny.
Still, one of my favorite interviews.
Is it me, or does he sound like Barry from the bee movie
I can’t even bro why you ask that?
He is Barry the 🐝. Search for the cast of the movie.
That's because he voices him
That's a stinging remark.
idk...but what I do know is I am questioning whether or not I like *jazz*
Have loved this man since I binged watched Seinfeld taped from TV to VHS in my teens. He is still the best!
Jerry is truly a gift to comedy.
Can we talk about how skinny Jerry's ankles are
Hahaha
lol But, my Dad Is 74, A Cowboy And Looks Great In His Jeans.
Yeah im not sure he considered the cowboys and hard working older men that rely on jeans to get it done.
I work pants or jeans. I think I have one pair of dress pants somewhere. ......maybe.
Stephen Jarnagin ok
TD Riehm .it depends if they have a bum or not.
Love Jerry Seinfeld, Elaine, Goerge , Kramer and the rest of the gang. I watched the show in the 90s and then they stopped showing in where I was. Now I can watch Seinfeld and Jimmy Fallon together on line. Lucky lucky me!!
