I have this case and I absolutely love it. The only minor gripe is that the exhaust fan is not LED but that's nothing to lose any sleep over. The case is super solid, very spacious, is designed to accommodate a water cooling radiator, easy to move around thanks to the very solid straps, and provides for excellent cable management.
That case would be perfect for my next build. I want it white with a few Star Wars Stormtroopers standing guard of my rediculusly expensive graphics card !!!!!
Was about to comment on the pump/res cover but you caught that. I agree that the fans are rubbish. ASUS software gives me two speeds -- 70 and 100%. I bought this because I thought it looked more military and rugged than my old case, Air 740. I kinda regret replacing the Air 740. It had great thermals. The white case lends itself to Star Wars stormtrooper builds. Nice review as always.
The pop out part of the PSU shroud is neither for a fan, nor for accessing the hard drive. It gives you place if you want to install a reservoir for your water cooling system.
i am also have this case the case airflow is good but asus need to give argp fan in front but they have given rgp other that taht this case is very good and very heavy
vewsonic monitor gives no signal with a pre-built! pc in asus TUF case... :/ neither display nor hdmi cables are helping, same no signal... what am i doing wrong... cant be the pc because I GUESS they checked it before sending... there is a weird button next to the BACK power supply switch... what the hell is that? it didnt do anything good... monitor is OK, turns on, gives some bird display when i turn it on... what the heck... pre-built PC!
Good video. damm Asus really bums me up. Their customer support and software are the worst. Bt products are pretty ok. whatever you do, use other brand software and harware to drive your LED's. Armory create and sync are a pain, if you ever need to reainstall or uninstall them ( spoiler alert: You can't uninstall them nor reinstall )

Internet Latte? Meh, coffee - POISON!!! Mine is an Internet Earl Grey tea; pint soup mug, mind; no lah di dah bone china near-thimbles, tah very muchly. :-) I saw this and thought with gold highlights to the control/output panel and elsewhere this would go well with the Creative X7 LE Amp which I spotted still knocking about a couple of weeks ago. Mine has always looked a bit outy of place with my case choices. I don't like the handles; I'd look into having solid replacements 3D printed or repurposing handles nosied out at B&Q. The filters not being installed? GN test out of the box; with not installing them they'll get the most favourable report if it should go thru' Steve's hands. It'll need all the help with the crap fans. About hat front filter, there is not a great deal of point to it. I can only think the case shares its' basic chassis with something having a more open front. Those inside left drive mounts and the resevoir mount you finally clocked don't line up. That would set me off just KNOWING... A good base case to mod - and it needs the modding and the love! There are better out-of-the box options at either price.
You will love it. I bought a second one I liked it so much. Custom water cooling ready if I ever decide to go that route is just an extra perk. This thing holds so many drive options.
@@gandalfthewhite2809 Sorry I just seen this message. Yes it is a great case for airflow as well. The Yellow one has a usb c connector if that is a concern. It can also be added with a Dremel to the other cases.
I have this case but the only thing i don't like about it is the power supply shroud cover there is no holes for dissipating the heat from the psu so i'm thinking to cut it where the top of psu is
@@OC3D hold on so people still place a psu fan upwards i never did that i was just saying that the shroud should have some holes like corsair has when you take the shroud off you can feel that the psu is warm so if there would be ventilation holes this would help
@@scyzorplPSU's that have displays or right side up text would need to be flipped as well. But yeah, it works like an exhaust straight up for the GPU when the fan is on the top side. It's not a problem for thermals at all, though.
Nice case. Took me 3 times to see it all. I'm casting the video to my TV and fell asleep twice. I'd go back to what I remembered and started from there. It is not you Tom, I did not sleep well last night. Happens a lot nowadays.
It seems like they screw up something on every single case I find and if you ever do find one that they managed not to f*ck up they place a high price on it. A man can go nuts looking through all the cases trying to pick the right one

how did you control the speed of the stock front fans? it is not pwm fans, only 3pin. Im curious and would love to know how. Thanks

I'll stick with Corsair 5000D. So far my only complaint with 5000D is you have to remove the front dust filter to fit 3x360mm rads in.

This case would be good for a Lamborghini Huracan mod.
Really odd that Asus is done next to no marketing for this case, especially towards custom water coolers than most cases for that use.

Turn the PSU around. Its part of the case design here to suck air from the bottom and blow out of the back (the fan on a psu is the intake)

Obligatory comment. Does look very roomy but not a fan personally. Especially for the price compared to an £80 corsair 4000D.
Unfortunately the 4000D is a lot smaller. It's a refresh of the spec-06.
This case by far larger and offers more features.
