Asus should sponsor you bro. You did a better job reviewing this case than 90% of the videos in RUclips about this case. Great job #ThisIsHowItsDone #ThumbsUp
Hi Иван Стоев, welcome to my channel and thank you for your kind words. Greatly appreciated it and all the best with your build too 😉 I am happy that I get to review stuff for Asus as they are willing to loan me pc components. That’s more than anything else but thank you for your compliment 👍
Been looking at case reviews for days. I have been watching case reviews for days. Your thoroughness is unsurpassed. Everything is answered for the GT502 right here. Thank you!
Fabulous video. Been looking at this case but was put off by a few other reviews because they complained about not being able to fit a 360mm rad in the side mount. The extra detail you have gone to here, actually specifying the exact dimensions of the side mount radiator support, means I now know my current AIO will in fact fit.
Thank you for this in-depth review for this case I have been looking for one since I just ordered this case thank you so much new sub here!! Great job sir!
The video impresses with its well-presented content on a meticulously crafted chassis. Despite initial reservations about vertical GPU mounting, the thoughtful review has convinced the viewer. Appreciation is expressed for detailed reviews, especially considering the current high cost of PC cases.
Hi , Sandy Valdez, welcome to my channel. Thank you for your kind words and valuable feedback. Greatly appreciated it. All the best with your build too if you are considering to get this case. 😊
Exactly the reason I found this video, I have seen a few build videos but it's mostly montages or just general information. I'm glad I found this video, it's detailed and interesting. Great narration and my question was answered.

Thank you for the very thorough overview. I'm looking at this case myself and studying the different airflow options I can do. Do you think a 360mm AIO CPU cooling unit with a 410mm tube length could successfully be mounted in the rear chamber? If not, what kind of tube length is required?
Hi Sasha, welcome to my channel. For 360 liquid AIO. It should not be an issue to mount at the rear chamber. The only thing will be, one of the side fan slot, you have to leave a hole for your tube to be routed to the front. 400 tube length is sufficient to route through.
I love how it has handles. I wish the Lian Li 011 Dynamic Evo had handles as much as I'm messing with it and stuff. LOL I love how you blurred your face in the reflection. At first I was like "wtf is going on"?
hello Elliott, welcome back, yup I wish that too. Its so much easier to handle the case. lol.. ya what's important is the content and not my face, sorry about that
Does rtx 4080 fit in o11 dynamic evo without having issues by power cables when you close the side glass panel ? I have galax rtx4080 and im looking for a case which i can moınt horizontally with no issues

My viewers have replied, it's useful ruclips.net/video/xZ2R4roF1_Q/видео.html
Thank you for your video. Yours was the only one to actually go through in detail the various features of the case, including the fact that oversized GPUs such as RTX 4xxx series are only possible to be mounted vertically and the case doesn't have enough clearance anyway for the 12VHPWR power connector if mounted horizontally. A good case but several glaring omissions by ASUS. Also on the white version of this case, the front panel connectors are all on one F_PANEL block - which is not mentioned in the manual at all.
@@KleoYan Yan what was the length of the riser cable that you used here - was it 10 or 15cm? I was thinking of the next gen RTX 4xxx due to how wide they are - I need to find out exactly the right cable length otherwise there is nowhere for excess cable lengths to go to.
Great review,as always kleo amazing at explaining, NOTE: If you're going with this case notice that deepcool AK620 digital, the screen will slightly touch the Glass ( its closes ) , so its barley fit . Also there is another version called Plus that comes with fan hub

thank you so much for this nice review. Just bought this case for a inno3d 4090 and I hope I can put it horizontally :D also I bought the PSU Corsair HX1500I. Guess things are going to be tight inside :D however I love the military look of this case that's why I choose it
Hi esperando el render, welcome to my channel. Maybe get the height of your GPU. I would say Infact for most 4090, you can’t fit as you need to consider the additional height of the 12VHPRW connector. You will need another 20mm inorder not to bend the cable and to be able to close the side panel.
@@KleoYan thank you so much for reply! This is the size of my card: Length 336mm Height 145mm Width 60mm I'm going to buy ASAP the cable from corsair for avoid the adaptor, but I live in Hungary and seems like there isn't shops with stocks now in the whole Europe Do you think is a better Idea to put it on vertical?
@@esperandoelrender hi, based on your height of the inno3d 4090 card, I don't think is a good idea to plus it horizontally as you only left 15mm tall for your 12HVPWR connector and to be bend. I would advise to do a GPU vertical mount instead. As I try to search in amazon USA, EU and SG, most run out of stock for the 12VHPWR cable for corsair, your best bet is to get it from cablemod store.cablemod.com/compatibility/
@@KleoYan I'll check that thank you so much. Btw In vertical even with the adaptor from nvidia before I get the proper cable should be fine too right? Thank you so much
@@esperandoelrender Hi esperando, if you doing vertical, so long you clip it tight down. you should not have an issue. but make sure not to bend it too much.
Hi. About the vertical mounting for GPU, what is the 'optimal length' of the pcie riser cable needed? (assuming connecting from the top slot of ATX motherboard)
Hey mate! Nice in depth vid! I'm planning to buy this case but my only concern is how to plug the 3pin 5V cable to my old Asus TUF B450 plus gaming. The 3pin is meant for ARGB devices but my mobos header is the 4pin 12V RGB. Any ideas?
Hi Void, welcome to my channel. Your board only support RGB and not ARGB. You might want to get an ARGB controller. That’s the only way you can control the ARGB effect on the case strip.
@@MickExile ok my bad. infact this case does have the argb controller which you toggle the button. You do not need to connect the argb to your motherboard argb header. unless you choose to use your motherboard argb utility to control the case strip. But in your case, your motherboard can't so you can just use the case toggle switch to cycle the argb effects.
@@MickExile you are most welcome. one thing to take note, make sure before you purchase this case, check to see if it's argb enabled. As I do hear about others getting this case without the argb function. all the best and good luck! 😉

i have the gt502 case but i am unable to connect the case argb cable to my motherboard because it has a male connector so can you tell how to you connect the case argb cable to motherboard??
Hi Shubham Goyal, welcome to my channel. Hmm something is not right, I recall connecting the case argb to my motherboard. You might want to check with the seller who sold you this unit.. If not, you will need to get a converter.
Hi Geraldine Dosdos, welcome to my channel. Yes this case indeed very impressive. The build quality and the modularity. Once again thank you for your feedback. 🙂
Great review! Thanks! I was wondering why Your RAM doesn't synchronize with fans lights? You didn't use the hub? Also i was wondering how does the graphics card holder connect to pc case?
Hi Jofosey, welcome to my channel and yes. My rams do not sync with my fans as the rams and plug to the motherboard. As for the vertical mount, it’s hold well. No sag or whatsoever as there is a hidden pillar between the bottom of the vertical mount and the bottom fans.
Hi Ryan, welcome to my channel. I am terrible sorry that I have returned this case to Asus SG, unable to test it out for you. you might want to try asking at Asus reddit forum www.reddit.com/r/ASUS/
Brosef was there enough space for the GPU cable if you mounted it horizontally? Saw some vids where they said the 4080/4090 cards the front cable is always against the glass panel. Tats abit worrysome as too bendy cables are not good for high wattage flow.
Hi Kaminosami, welcome to my channel. So long your GPU Height is at 143mm tall, you will be able to fit the 12VHPWR cable, but if your GPU Height is at 153mm, which are for most 4080. you will face some issue. The cable connector is able to fit but the cable will be too tight to bend and it will hit the glass side panel. In this case, you might want to consider doing GPU Vertical Mount to resolve the issue.
FYI I just picked up the new Lian Li Edge power supply and it's a perfect fit in this case. The cables are nearly custom length made for the gt502. Highly recommend
Great review again. I just bought the white version of this case and feel like I am now ready to build knowing all the weird things I may encounter. I am very curious what thermals in this case look like with gpu mounted vertically vs standard.
Hi Suzuki 4 Life, welcome back. I wish I had more time with this case and I can answer you regarding about the performance. But as based on my experience it will be best to have GPU Vertically mounted with fans below it, do test it out to see which gives you better thermal results and I will be glad to listen to your experience too. All the best with your build. 😉
Hello DXM55_, welcome back. Each have it's own good and bad. O11D or EVO are of a bigger case which allows all kinds of Liquid AIO set up. As for this case, though there are issues at top and bottom fans if you mount a 360 liquid AIO at the side, there are other areas which I like. The most important thing which is the handle that O11D or EVO does not have. It make things so much easier to carry such a big case which a system in it. next will be the additional 3 more fans which you can mount at ther cable management are. I am not sure about others but it does help to cool down the motherboard which is good for me, since components like the areas from m.2, vrams heatsink and even ram slot will dispate heat on the motherboard. The last factor is looks. It greatly depends do you want a clean look from Lian Li O11D series or the Tank look from the Asus GT502. To me if really have to choose between the two. I would go for this GT502 as I carry cases around and it's more practical to have the handle at the top, also I love tanks so I dont mind the look.
Whats the best fan intake/exhaust balance configuration for this case tho? lol It's possible to have up to 13 fans in this so I'm kinda speculating... bottom (3), side (3) and back (3) for intake, rear (1) and top (3) for exhaust? lol That would be too much positive pressure, I'm usually always for atleast 50%/50% or 60%/40% fan balance but this case can be like 80%/20% intake/exhaust balance if you know what I mean... lol I also wish the side panel atleast was like a door, I really like such designs. It'll be kinda tricky to have a full custom water cooled (gpu and cpu) system in that case without sacrificing a fan slot or two, which ruins the aesthetic imo. I give this case a 9/10. 👍
Hi fluzzles, welcome to my channel. positioning of fans is up to individual to test it. for me best configuration will be top with AIO exhaust, side intake, bottom intake, rear exhuast. In addition, I will only mount GPU vertically. It's not for looks but for thermal. as for the other side of the case. adding three more intake fans does shows improvement on motherboard and cpu temp but it add noise and it will only drop by 1 to 2 degrees by using three more additional fans which to me not very practical.
I put Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4080 OC on to this case parallelly (to the floor) and I hardly closed the front glass panel of the case because of the 600W power cable of the GPU. I fear that there may be enough pressure to malfunction the power cable because of bent and burn the card :/ Is there any T-shape or 90 degree angled 600W power cable in the market? Or any other solution please? Thank you..
Hello Bora Sezgin Öztürkmen, welcome to my channel. you might want to try searching in amazon.com for those 90 degrees adaptor cable. something like this www.amazon.com/JOYJOM-12VHPWR-Adapter-Extension-Graphic/dp/B0BWDVC44J/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=12vhpwr+90+degree+adapter&qid=1686536728&sprefix=12vhpw%2Caps%2C368&sr=8-4 or even this www.amazon.com/JOYJOM-16Pin-Cable-Pcie-Extension/dp/B0BZBTYR2N/ref=sr_1_20?keywords=12vhpwr+90+degree+adapter&qid=1686536831&sprefix=12vhpw%2Caps%2C368&sr=8-20
I got the case in white a week ago, my peeve also with the case is you carnt use a 360mm rad on the back wall without losing out on a fan above or below because of where the AIO tubes leave the radiator im sure my CPU would drop 10 degrees if I could have my AIO as a intake, also iv had to block the rear panel rear vent with my fan orientation being the same as yours as there is no filter for that but they included 3 for the back panel wall vents.
Hi dizzee G, welcome to my channel. Yes there are limitations on the AIO mount at the side. As for the 3 fan bracket at the back. I have tested it out. it's best to push air through to cool the motherboard in someways. On my 7950X without the three fans my highest consistant clock speed is at 5.1 to 5.16Ghz with random boost clock of 5.5 to 5.56Ghz. if I am to place three fans and to blow cool air to the motherboard area, I am able to achieve a consistancy of 5.2 to 5.25Ghz with random boost of 5.6 to 5.68Ghz. Once again thank you to have visit and to leave your valuable feedback. thank you!
Hello medivoadmin, welcome to my channel and congrats on the purchase. You will definately like this case. Once again thank you to have visit and to leave your feedback 😉
Thank you for the nicely detailed video, I just bought this case and this will help me a lot while building it. I have one question about the ARGB case connectors. If I don't use a hub and just plug the 5V connector to my motherboard, will it still synchronize with my ARGB fans? I have a rog strix Z790-H motherboard with 4 rgb headers.
Hi Tale Karov, welcome to my channel. You can plug the case strip argb connector to the motherboard. It will sync the argb effects from your motherboard argb utility or software. No issue.
hi bro, i saw ur motherboard user manual. but there is 1 rgb header which is number 12 in that pdf. why you said u have 4 rgb header? or it's my mistake? bcuz i have z790-a wifi and it has also 1 rgb header.
@@user-fo9ce3hr5h I think you are unsure of which is to which. there are two types of RGB, first type 4pin are RGB 12volts, second type 3pin are aRGB 5volts. on the ASUS ROG B650E-F manual itself 12 is RGB 12volt rgb and 11 is aRGB, you should be using 11 and not 12. so please make sure you know which is to which.
I would love a smaller version of this case... For MATX motherboards... Just as the asus prime ap201... But with Tuf aesthetic, double chamber and smaller dimensions since the PSU will be hidden in the rear using the extra front space for airflow and sick compact builds without going into miniITX
The problem is that SFX PSU are way too expensive for 1000W. The M-ATX motherboard nowaday are very rare and cheap made. I saw the Crosshair X670E Gene is over $600+.
@@mualan4683 almost everything is that expensive if you look how the gpus are being priced... However for MATX you don't expend the most expensive 1000w psu nor the x670e, I saw a b560e Tuf and 750w build not too long ago and was bonkers... When you are going to go all out with a build you either go with ATX/E-ATX or mini-Itx... For the price point of these cases you definitely would use it for mid range but cool looking builds that requires les than 1000w psu's!
@@mualan4683 hi welcome back, I don’t deny what you are saying. Though this case allows you to use a full ATX PSU, 1000w PSU be it sfx or atx, both are rather expensive. As for motherboard. Some m-atx are still manageable interms of price like the MSI mortar series, the ASRock PG and the gigabyte ax too. But I do agree is abit high for the price for these days of motherboard.

Hello LUIS VIGURIA LUZA, welcome to my channel. you are not wrong, with the original vertical mount provided, you can fit fans below and yes, you can mount a Arctic LF2 360 at the top.
Hi Oleksandr Kanaikin, welcome to my channel. I don’t think you can do that as the 240 rad has extra material protruding out. It’s not like it’s 240mm where you can place the 3rd fan.

Hello Sebastian De Pua Guardiola, welcome to my channel. If you are getting the LS720. It’s of no issue to fit. You will only need to worry if it’s of Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360. By the way your 403 means? Or do you mean 420 AIO? 420 will not fit in this case.

Hi MMCedutor02, welcome to my channel. Is more of letting others know about the side. Not really a complaint. As for the rear chamber. 1st I do not like the look for it as the hose sticking out and 2nd yes it can draw cool air to the rad but hot air is hitting the motherboard so I drop the idea. Hi The Expat Gunner, welcome to my channel. I only plug all argb connectors of the fans to the argb fan hub. As for the Fan load, I connect them directly to the motherboard. Same apply to the Liquid AIO fans. This way you can control your fans RPM via the motherboard separately (recommended) and to have the ARGB effects controlled by the remote controller from the argb fan hub or to use the case switch (Make sure the motherboard argb connector is connected to the case button and to set the argb fan hub)

Hi Yan, was wondering if you can find out from ASUS, for those of us who had bought the normal GT502 without integrated ARGB hub - is it possible to buy this integrated ARGB hub (that was included with GT502 Plus) anywhere? I don't know why ASUS decided to market two separate versions of the GT502 cases without ARGB hub - it can't have been that much of a cost saving, and it leaves the ARGB control cable useless in the plain GT502 case.
i am using the arctic controller, slight incompatibility as it does not have a pin for the casing switch but everything else work with my no rgb mobo. i just couldn’t accept myself buying TUF super noisy and slightly pricy fan.
Hi raydioz, welcome to my channel, yes the clearance is only at 163mm. For RTX 3000 series card not an issue, just that the RTX 4000 series, as the 12HVPWR connector will be bend, so best to use vertical mount instead of horizontal. I am in favor of using vertical mount more than horizontal as this is the reason why ruclips.net/video/1SPioF78x_E/видео.html (better thermal results)
Hi kenshin humura, welcome to my channel, if you are using the default vertical mount bracket of this case. you are able to fit the Giga 4090 Aero GPU, not an issue.

Hi Sasha, welcome to my channel. For 360 liquid AIO. It should not be an issue to mount at the rear chamber. The only thing will be, one of the side fan slot, you have to leave a hole for your tube to be routed to the front. 400 tube length is sufficient to route through.

Hi esperando el render, welcome to my channel. Maybe get the height of your GPU. I would say Infact for most 4090, you can’t fit as you need to consider the additional height of the 12VHPRW connector. You will need another 20mm inorder not to bend the cable and to be able to close the side panel.

@@esperandoelrender hi, based on your height of the inno3d 4090 card, I don't think is a good idea to plus it horizontally as you only left 15mm tall for your 12HVPWR connector and to be bend.
Hi Suzuki 4 Life, welcome back. I wish I had more time with this case and I can answer you regarding about the performance. Good detailed video again.
How do you think this thing stacks up against the O11 Dynamic or Evo?
Whats the best fan intake/exhaust balance configuration for this case tho? lol
It's possible to have up to 13 fans in this so I'm kinda speculating... bottom (3), side (3) and back (3) for intake, rear (1) and top (3) for exhaust? lol
That would be too much positive pressure, I'm usually always for atleast 50%/50% or 60%/40% fan balance but this case can be like 80%/20% intake/exhaust balance if you know what I mean... lol
I also wish the side panel atleast was like a door, I really like such designs.
@@KleoYan I see. Thanks! :)
@@fluzzles you are most welcome.
In this case only asus Motherboards go in ?? O can i put msi ?
Hi Spartan Eu, welcome to my channel. You can fit any brand motherboard that is ATX, M-ATX or M-ITX form factor.
I put Asus Tuf Gaming RTX 4080 OC on to this case parallelly (to the floor) and I hardly closed the front glass panel of the case because of the 600W power cable of the GPU.
I fear that there may be enough pressure to malfunction the power cable because of bent and burn the card :/

Thank you for the detailed video. Do you think a Lian Li Galahad II Trinity 360 would fit on the side if 3 fans are used at the top or bottom since the tubing is angled at 45 degrees?
Hi gogeta01, welcome to my channel. I wish I can test it but the case was returned to Asus SG, therefore I can’t confirm and to give you an answer, real sorry.
Thank you for the informations!
One question: do you know if TUF video cards also have this horizontal fitting incompatibility?
More specifically, TUF 4060TI.
Thanks!
Hi Tenemhur, welcome to my channel. You should not have an issue to fit the 4060Ti Tuf card, if you are referring to this card www.asus.com/sg/motherboards-components/graphics-cards/tuf-gaming/tuf-rtx4060ti-o8g-gaming/techspec/ as the case height clearance from the motherbord to the side panel is at 163mm and the Tuf 4060Ti card is at 139mm. There are more than enough space to mount it horizontally.

Hi M, welcome back. plug the ARGB cable of the case to your motherboard ARGB header. as for the other cable, it's for you to plug into an argb hub which is not provided in this case. you can ignore this cable.

Hi Capturekings Slot Channel, welcome to my channel, yes you can, no issues as the power drawn is from your PSU to supply power to your fans.

@@razor8200 ok then that’s the non argb version. The one that have those cables is the argb version of this case.
Great video! I'll probably get this case next month. It makes the 3080 TUF looks small in there LOL.
I have a question about the included gpu holder. It appears it cannot be used if there are fans placed at the bottom of the case, is that so or am I seeing wrong here?
Well, at least it looks like it will fit the thick artic liquid freezer 360 at the top
Hello LUIS VIGURIA LUZA, welcome to my channel. you are not wrong, with the original vertical mount provided, you can fit fans below and yes, you can mount a Arctic LF2 360 at the top.
Does the feet have rubber on the bottom to prevent scratching the table?
Hello RandomRes, welcome to my channel. Yes it does have rubber padding and it’s stick strong on the steel feet.
Nice review! Is it possible to mount 240 aio to the top and add 3d fan just for symmetry?
Hi Oleksandr Kanaikin, welcome to my channel. I don’t think you can do that as the 240 rad has extra material protruding out. It’s not like it’s 240mm where you can place the 3rd fan.

Hello Sebastian De Pua Guardiola, welcome to my channel. If you are getting the LS720. It’s of no issue to fit. You will only need to worry if it’s of Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360. By the way your 403 means? Or do you mean 420 AIO? 420 will not fit in this case.

I have this case and agree with your complaint about the side-mount 360 AIO. Have you tried mounting an AIO to the rear chamber's side bracket, though? Asus advertises it as an option.
The rear chamber only best to use as air intake to cool the motherboard.
@@KleoYan Fair enough :) I was actually thinking of trying to put a rad there one day with the rad fans set to exhaust air from the case, but I'll see.

I have a question. Is it able to do a push & pull configuration in the top or the side?
Hi Rezuan Isham, welcome to my channel. For liquid AIO with radiator 28mm thickness and fans, It is possible to mount at the top. I would advise not to do at the side. You will hit into issues whereby your top front and bottom front fans will not be able to fit. Also please take note of your motherboard side vrm and your rams profile if you doing push pull configuration at the top.
@@KleoYan based on your review on montech king and Tuf which one will be better in terms of airflow and mounting push and pull capabilities?
@@razerangelri both cases are possible with push pull so long you keep the radiator to 28mm thick. As for airflow, Montech King95 has the advantage.

I live in Spain with a fairly warm climate in summer and somewhat cold in winter.
Hi Salvador Alberti, welcome back. I believe I have mentioned that if you can place it this way will be great.
- Top 360 AIO with fan exhuasting
- Side 3 x fans intake (Bring more cool air in to cater the top section of your motherboard area)
- Bottom 3 x fans intake (to cool your GPU)
- Rear 1 x fan exchuast (to assist how air out as top with the 320 rad, there are restriction)

Hi Zombie Survivor, welcome to my channel. I will take note on that.. thank you for your feedback.
When using a ARGB Hub connected to the cases front switch, do you need to connect all fans into the same hub or will they all sync using the front button even with some fans connected directly to the motherboard ARGB header also? I have 2 x 3 packs for the ASUS TUF fans and 1 x additions for the rear of the case. and will also add a 360 AIO so wondering the best way to connect and sync everything up.

Hello WB, welcome back, sure will help you ask. Btw call me Kleo instead of Yan thanks.

Great review and you cover aspects people actually need... not quite sure why you couldn't fit the GPU horizontally though, is it >160mm?
Hi raydioz, welcome to my channel, yes the clearance is only at 163mm. For RTX 3000 series card not an issue, just that the RTX 4000 series, as the 12HVPWR connector will be bend, so best to use vertical mount instead of horizontal.
