I agree with you 100%. This is one of several cases that I've seen where the victim was a dunken woman walking alone at night on deserted city streets. Also, college towns are magnets for Freaks who have an unhealthy appetite for very young women. There have been MANY murders and disappearances of coeds in college towns in recent decades.

The facts are confusing as hell... she was dating the one dude, but out getting shit faced with this other dude? And then when that dude passed out and puked, she tried to entice his roommate to come back to her apartment? And then when he denied she went over to this third dude's apartment at 3 in the fucking morning? I don't mean to cast doubt on the dead, but that sounds like a woman on the prowl

You should check for accuracy. Lauren was not a student at "Indiana State University" as is stated in the video- that institution is in Terre Haute (Larry Bird played basketball there). And the school in Bloomington is NOT University of Indiana- it is (as residents will quickly tell you) INDIANA UNIVERSITY or "IU" for short.

Seems likely in her state she was picked up by someone who offered her a ride and was likely forced into their car. From there they drove off and could literally have gone anywhere. Sadly with a random encounter like that the odds of it being solved are incredibly low. If I were one of those "men" who let her walk home by herself in that state I wouldn't be able to live with myself.

Heart condition, clozapine, cocaine, heavily intoxicated, seems like an open and shut case but for 2 facts: firstly she looks like someone who would attract a man to attack her, second they have not found the body. I have been to Bloomington and the campus is very green but I don't see a major body of water. What are the chances that the body was never found? Seems that someone picked her up thinking they had hit the jack pot for rape and then maybe she died and they disposed of the body. Seems like Lake Monroe would be a perfect place to dispose of a body. Sad.

I live in Indiana and didn't know about this case. It's annoying to hear that cocaine isn't uncommon on campus at such an amazing medical college.. what are these students thinking? To not only drink but to use cocaine and let a woman leave alone in the middle of the night is incredibly foolish, I don't feel bad for anyone involved besides her family. That said, the fact that they've never found any trace of her leads me to believe that someone took her out of state, likely the boonies or wilderness, and dumped her body.
