I'm also a senior female, and I don't open my front door, either.
      Not even a crack!
A reasonably strong man (or, really, a not-so-strong male) could easily turn that crack into a wide open door with me knocked to the floor behind it - in just a heartbeat's time.
Two seconds and you're at someone's mercy!
I don't have a a camera, but I can hear through the door very well.
      Works for me!

Exactly… One morning I had off from work, I heard loud knocking at my door… It was early and I didn’t receive a text or call from anyone I know, so I didn’t answer. I told my husband and he checked our cameras, it was two men we have never seen in a dingy white truck… Could have been harmless, but I don’t care, I’d rather be safe.

After doing almost a decade in prison myself I'd never make it more then 60 days before going back to prison in the past. When the doc dumps you in a city with no resources, no clothed nothing but a state ID in your pocket. Well prison doesn't look so bad and I often would wonder what my friends in the system were doing at that moment.
Anyways fast forward to today I've been out and had 0 trouble for 3 years now. I got myself a dog which helped teach me love, responsibilities, care, touch and all the things I'd forgotten about over the years in prison.
Sure this last time I had a girlfriend to come home to but thar never changed anything before I'd still screw up somehow. But when I got the dog I had someone who loved me and looked to me for care for the first time it didn't matter what I did or what my past was, my little puppy looked at me for everything and I loved to spoil her with treats, bones ,gimmick clothes and so on. So that encouraged me to work and spending money fast made me think I could do better so I started going back to school to get an associates degree to help me land a better job. Anyways 3 years later I can't imagine going back to prison. But 3 years ago I couldn't imagine being anywhere but prison.
If one person who's been institutionalized sees this comment and you need to adjust back to society get a dog.
My best days of my life are when my wife and I take my pup meeka to the dog parks. There's nothing in this world that makes me grin ear to ear more then seeing my baby out there running with the other dogs having fun.
She helped me get over my social anxiety, taught me responsibilities and just generally helped me live a much better life.
I come home everyday I make my wife and I dinner then I'll make my meeka a fish and vegetables or steak, beef marrow, turkey or w.e I want to cook for her. I care for her like I would take care of a child. We're coming up on another year being free in February and I owe it all to my pup meeka (meeka means gods gift in inuit she's a husky which I care for dearly).
I hope any other x prisoners to try something similar out and get your life back.

I read his backstory. This man was built to be a monster. Not to make excuses or feel bad for him but from an objective psychiatric study on trauma point of view, his past really explains the monster he is. He was raped by his older brothers. And he was raped and brutalized in jail for 25 years by inmates and prison guards and fed feeces and blood. This guy was physically and sexually violently abused. He knew nothing else. He was built to kill. That’s frightening. He picked a very vulnerable and kind person to slaughter.. he is one sick disgusting individual. He is the prime reason why we need better psychiatric programs in jail especially for those that have a release date. Many men and women are being released daily with no in depth psychiatric care. There is another sicko like him about to be released as you read this.. better psychological care in prison is a huge part of prison reform.

He read the story and was in shock when he found out that she was a house keeper he never knew she was a house keeper. He said he did because, of his covert narcissist personality disorder a narcissist will never admit he made this huge error. Not sure who did the evaluation on this guy but this is not antisocial personality disorder but a stone cold clinical "Covert Narcissist" Covert Narcissists are extremely jealous of people with more money then they have they always play the victim never ever take responsibility for their actions and have absolutely no empathy a covert narcissist starts out with smaller crimes and graduates slowly to more serious crimes and this was his most serious if I had to bet money all his last crimes had to do with financial scams!

"All sociopaths are narcissists but not all narcissists are sociopaths" is the saying. Cluster B personality disorders can be hard to tell apart because of all of the overlapping symptoms, and one of the only major differences is a very different core desire. Basically, I'm fairly certain he only has ASPD as the DSM-5 covers those narc similarities itself so there is no need for a dual diagnosis, which is also why it's extremely rare people have two cluster B PDs.

BTW Finically & socially stable people kill people all the time. Inherently an act of desperation!? Not true either. All murders (kill) are motivated by financial greed (steal), sexual lust (rape) or the pursuit of power (control) and jealousy. Daily meditation, emotional health and basic life skills would sure make America’s kids a lot happier and less violent : Too bad our Christian evangelicals are dictating the school programs these days and meditation , emotional / psychological health and sex ed / family planning are all activities spawned by Satan himself and not to be spoken about around any person under 18. I think they say ,” If you would just get right with god- everything will be alright .” Yep: That and,” Just Say No.” seems like a real plan to me .

@@melodi996That’s why teaching the realities of parenting and family planning : You know the fact that babies don’t just happen ? Should be drilled into kids from an early age , because we’re not all equally able of raising loved and well cared for children with a sense of right and wrong and hard work and kindness . The 5 year contraceptive implant seems like it should be included in some women’s probation rules : If they take parenting classes and show a positive probability of good parenting ? It can be removed sooner . I mean there’s be likely a lot fewer true crimes against children stories to witness if the women that have shown themselves to be unfit parents are unable to procreate in 5 year stretches at a time . -Just saying . I don’t believe everyone should have the right to procreate simply because they’re a biological human being with reproductive organs in good order . Yeah- don’t ever think death penalty . I watched a crime story and the pedo literally celebrated the death penalty . He said he knew he’d live another 20 years in the state he was sentenced - if his day ever came , and he’d have a safe and private cell . If he were given life and put in regular population ? He said every minute of every day people would be gunning for him and his death day could be any moment of everyday . A whole lot harder life than a private cell with private security on death row . And ? It costs over 1 Million USD to see a death penalty case from beginning to end then another decade or 3 feeding and providing medical and guards for them . The death penalties a gift for most heinous killers looking at life without parole .

Honestly still want death penalty for him. That’s just something’s dbag’s like him say to be like yahhh I’m so dark I’m such a tough guy I don’t care about anything I’m invincibleeeee - but they don’t actually mean it. They are just living out some antihero cool guy BS in their wildest fantasies.
If he really did want that - why not just commit sui****? It’s easy enough. If he’s really that “detached” and truly doesn’t value his own life - he’s got all the effed up skills pull that off.
Like, go for it buddy! 🎉
Put up or shut up! 😙
What’s the hold up, my guy? 🙂
Because they DONT actually want the death penalty, narcissistic pricks like him value themselves too much. He’s way too narcissistic to actually believe that HE of all people should stop existing, let alone giving others the power to TAKE his life from him. It’s honestly probably his worst nightmare. He thinks he’s better than everyone and that people have “robbed” his entitled ass. So let’s rob him of life - keep the whole thing on brand. Though I feel like his life is owed to us.
He had the tenacity to pull off killing an innocent human then made up some bd about wealth disparity just to get his d**k hard. If death is really what he wants for himself, that’s light work for a psycho like him. He was out on probation, he was free. Out and about. But oh…hm….he chose to kill someone else…. instead of HIMSELF? I mean if that’s what you really wanted - that was a prime opportunity to do so but it’s NOT WHAT HE WANTS. Who’s to say he won’t go on to kill some unlucky kid who got wrongly accused that happens to be in the same jail with him and he gets to feel that sick pleasure again? That dominance over another person? Why give him the opportunity? He shouldn’t have that power - he should be stripped of his right to life.
Most likely he just wants people to believe he wants the death penalty so that out of “spite” he gets spared, and then in his tweaked out little mind he gets to believe he played everyone and got his way and he’s Mr.smartfarts and he “wins”
“I want the death penalty” LOL PLEASE with that boohooBull. I believe some criminals with actual remorse truly want the DP - but NOT THIS LARPING DOUCHE. He is not the one he is a COWARD. I don’t buy it for a fucking second. It’s just some trash fantasy thing he says to boost his slimy ass ego, he’s sees himself as a supervillain that people secretly root for. He probably is obsessed with like whatever creeps decide to give him a cult following. He would soooooo be that dude writing fan man from prison to idiots that worship him from the outside.
He’s poison to the rest of us - a complete lost cause. Why have him around prisoners that didn’t murder anyone that might be good people that got caught in a bad situation? Why risk their second chance, just to allow this dump truck to breathe air? Eradicate him, cremate him, dump him in a sewer, put him in an unmarked grave. Erase any shred evidence of his lousy existence. Make it a point to remind him he’s made no mark on this world, and no one will remember him except as a dumb failure. The best thing I think we could do is declare his existence and ego to be THAT worthless to the rest of us and taking all his sense of power and control. Narcissists know one fear, and that’s fear for themselves. I mean by god he’s complaining about his damn colon clearly the man thinks he deserves to live and have every single one of his needs met.
The thing is, the human brain is powerful. I think the human brain can adapt to most any environment, to allow it to experience comfort on some level. And he doesn’t deserve that feeling. He WILL find a way to be comfortable and happy as possible as long as blood pumps through his worthless veins. I don’t want this guy to read a yoga book and start meditating and get to achieve nirvana or some shit no I want his brain shut off permanently. No more experiences for you.
The loser already has a cell to himself, and is making deals with the police to “tell his story” in exchange for gifts to make him more comfy womfy. Please - you think a bitch like that actually doesn’t value his life? Let’s stop his garbage neurons from perpetually jacking off in that rickety ass bum skull and melt that stank ugly mug right off.
Again If that’s TRUUUULY what he wants - (which again, I highly doubt) then I say SO WHAT. Worth it in my opinion. Yup let him have his 2 last miserable little seconds that he “so dearly wants and wishes for 🙄 to know he’s not walking around enjoying anything.
      like, k bye!! 👋
      you’re welcome sweetie!
Glad we could do this kindness for you, despite your rank ass worthless self not deserving it.
And the rest of us get to spend our whole life’s knowing that his demented neuron firing squad is shut down for good and that we cleaned the earth of this self entitles prick. Who’s to say his last moment wouldn’t be filled with regret. Won’t know if we don’t try!

The woman I know who is a former PO admits she planted pot on a guy to get him sent back after he broke up with a friend of hers. I'm deeply connected to law enforcement through friends and relatives, and I honestly don't know a PO who I'd call a good person. Yet I know a few ex-cons I'd be a character witness for...it's a strange world we live in...but I hope this guy truly never gets a decent night of sleep again fonwhat he did. Sad.

But you're the only one to blame. Not people who went out and made their dreams come true. There lisn't some secret lottery where the government draws people's names out of a hat and they are all given the good jobs, houses and cars. If that were the case, then yeah, that would be frustrating. Instead of going up to someone who is successful and saying "give me" ask that person how they ended up driving a new Mercedes. If they say they did the same exact thing you did but just lucked into it, then again, i would understand a little. I'm guessing they will tell you it all started with getting good grades in grade school. Something that every single person who went to an american school was told from day one. And I don't want to hear "some people are born into money". Yeah, no shit. But again, someone in their family put in the work, and it paid dividends for their future family. If you go through life always putting in minimal effort, you will get minimal results. People who never learn a skill and are still working entry-level jobs into their 40s, 50s, or 60s have no one to blame but themselves.

It isn't a disparity or unfair if someone has more than you. We live in a country where it is possible for most anyone to achieve wealth. Yet the ones who don't want to work for it are crying for government to use social-justice and other justifications to redistribute from those who have earned, to those who have not. People cheer when bad things happen to the wealthy, revealing their own true character. A handout won't make their lives better, because chances are, they aren't good with money anyway. They will spend $80/month on lottery tickets, or pay $500/month on constantly max out credit cards, but won't simply set that money aside to save or pay their bills. Today's world is conditioning the middle class to feel like perpetual victims so they cry out for government to swoop in and become mother. They will blame capitalism instead of using it to better their situation. They will point to countries far worse off than America because they have no ability to be grateful for what opportunities are in front of them. They don't learn from defeats, but instead cling to past grievances, always ranting about how they have been "screwed." No planning, no foresight, no ability to move forward.
In most (NOT ALL) cases, people in these situations are not victims of anything.

If a person does suffer from such a disorder, it means they can’t help how they think, react, and respond. No one chooses to have a mental disorder. No one decides one day that they want to be a psychopath, or a narcissist, or whatever. This doesn’t, however, mean that their actions are justified, nor does it mean that they should be set free, it’s quite the opposite, actually. These people didn’t choose it anymore than they can be treated for it. That doesn’t, however, mean that anything is ever going to be accomplished by simply calling them bad people. Until we recognize, respond to, admit, and bring awareness to these mental disorders, those who suffer from them will continue to commit tragic crimes against others. It’s no different with sexual disorders. Until we quit blaming them, like it’s something they actively choose, they will continue to hide, knowing that there is nothing but ridicule awaiting them, should they seek help for the urges & thoughts they are feeling. We’ve got to quit being so self-righteous and get our ungrateful heads out of our asses so we can make things better.
